Full-Time Magister: One Evolution Point Per Second

Chapter 73 Exam?

In the end, Ye Qiu accepted his mission from Dean Xiao, an old man.

At the same time, Ye Qiu also gained a preliminary understanding of how difficult Mingzhu Academy was to manage.

This is ridiculous! This isn't a prestigious academy; it should be renamed the "Academy of Noble Families."

Nearly 80% of the students in the entire academy are from aristocratic families, and there are very few commoner magicians.

Although it seems that more than a dozen ordinary magicians made it into the top 100 this time, those dozen or so are all exceptions, as they are all contestants who are about to be eliminated.

Yes, they are magicians who are about to reach the end of their term and will be expelled if they do not enter the main campus soon.

That's the truth!

It's just that hard for ordinary people at Mingzhu Academy to get by.

Unless you become a lackey for those powerful families and try to get some resources, you really can only rely on your talent to make a living.

These dozen or so commoner magicians who managed to stand out all possessed quite good innate talent.

Well, that's about a dozen.

Even if the ranking is expanded to 200, there are only a dozen or so commoner magicians left.

Given this situation, coupled with Dean Xiao's deliberate acceleration of the talent turnover at Mingzhu Academy,...

At this time, a strong candidate is needed to stand on the side of the common people, and Ye Qiu is the candidate chosen by Dean Xiao.

even……

Ye Qiu suspected that the reason the entrance exam for the main campus was changed to twice a year was because Old Deng had deliberately designed it for him, wanting him to enter the main campus and cause trouble.

only……

It doesn't matter anyway, since things have already come to this, I might as well deal with it properly.

However, not long after Ye Qiu left the dean's office, he ran into an acquaintance that Ye Qiu really didn't want to see.

Jiang Yunming, the head of the Summoning Department.

It wasn't that Jiang Yunming treated Ye Qiu badly; on the contrary, Jiang Yunming was usually very accommodating to Ye Qiu's requests.

On the other hand, Jiang Yunming sometimes wanted Ye Qiu to come back to class to help out, but Ye Qiu always asked for leave and couldn't be seen.

This made Ye Qiu feel quite embarrassed when he saw Jiang Yunming.

Jiang Yunming looked at Ye Qiu and made a sarcastic remark.

"You brat, the way you asked for leave is ridiculous! I mean, summoning students can attend classes whenever they want, but they can't just ask for leave anytime!"

Jiang Yunming was furious at the thought of Ye Qiu taking so many days off and ignoring him.

This means that this disciple has already been chosen by the dean, and the summoning department doesn't have many classes.

otherwise?

Based on Ye Qiu's leave record alone, it wouldn't be unreasonable for Jiang Yunming to dismiss the kid on the spot.

Ye Qiu knew he was in the wrong and explained somewhat awkwardly.

"Hehe, Teacher Jiang, I'm busy with a demon-hunting mission, and I also cooperated with the Inquisition to fight against the Black Vatican before."

Without a second thought, Ye Qiu immediately brought up the trial committee, emphasizing that his reasoning was sound.

Upon hearing this, Jiang Yunming's expression softened considerably, and he then offered a somewhat serious warning.

"I know, but try to get as little involved as possible in the affairs of the Black Vatican."

At this point, Jiang Yunming realized that his tone had been a bit harsh, so he began to explain.

"It's not that we don't want you to join, but the Black Vatican is too powerful for you right now. If they target you, you'll be in trouble!"

Jiang Yunming was naturally aware of the existence of the Black Vatican.

In fact, Jiang Yunming was well aware of just how powerful this group was.

Even before it was made public, Jiang Yunming already knew about the existence of the Black Vatican and was therefore extra cautious.

after all……

Their primary responsibility as teachers is to protect the safety of these students.

We should try our best to prevent the Black Vatican's activities from spreading into schools.

Therefore, Jiang Yunming treated Ye Qiu the same way. He was very worried that Ye Qiu would get too involved and be targeted by the Black Vatican, which would be very troublesome.

Ye Qiu grinned, knowing that his teacher cared about him, and nodded.

"Hehe, I see. Thanks for reminding me, teacher. I haven't been in contact with anyone from the Inquiry Council lately."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Yunming immediately relaxed and nodded slightly.

"That's good. Those ruthless bastards from the Black Vatican are never easy to deal with, you know that!"

Seeing that Jiang Yunming was no longer saying anything, Ye Qiu subconsciously prepared to go to the library.

"Teacher, I'll go to the library first..."

however……

Before he could finish speaking, Jiang Yunming forcefully interrupted him, saying directly.

"Come on, let's go to the Summoning Department campus and finish up the important business first."

Ye Qiu was stunned on the spot.

The latest novel is first published here!

He hadn't expected Jiang Yunming to have anything to ask him, and asked in confusion.

"Is it serious business?"

Seeing Ye Qiu's puzzled expression, Jiang Yunming glanced at Ye Qiu with annoyance and said directly.

"Exams! You've been handpicked by the dean to participate in the main campus's assessment. You need to finish your summoning exams as soon as possible, or you won't graduate."

Jiang Yunming was also in a real bind.

He, the head of the Summoning Department, was dragged out by the dean and made to give Ye Qiu a special exam.

Now that we've caught him, this guy still doesn't seem to have any sense of responsibility as a summoning student.

Not only did he take half a semester off, but now he doesn't even know about the exams.

In that instant, Ye Qiu's eyes cleared considerably, and he looked at Jiang Yunming obediently.

"Hiss, oh, uh, teacher, there's no written test, right?"

Jiang Yunming chuckled and looked at Ye Qiu with a smile.

"So, do you hope it happens, or do you hope it doesn't, Ye Qiu?"

Ye Qiu coughed twice, chuckled, and explained.

"Ahem, if you do, give me some time to review. I've been studying fire magic lately."

This wasn't just something Ye Qiu said casually.

Since advancing to the Super Rank, Ye Qiu has been spending all his time in the library, constantly devouring books.

But...

The theory of magic is a very broad subject.

Just one fire element and one shadow element would be enough for Ye Qiu to study for a long time.

Not to mention, there are also some basic theories of fusion magic.

After watching the whole thing, I didn't actually see the summoning system.

After all, there's really not much worthwhile knowledge or theory about the summoning system. In Ye Qiu's view, the summoning system is more like a contract than magic.

By making a contract with another world, one can summon corresponding power and summoned creatures.

In Ye Qiu's view, there was nothing about this kind of power that was worth studying.

As for the source of the power of the contract?

Just kidding, this isn't something a super-level being can research.

Seeing Ye Qiu make this request so seriously, Jiang Yunming immediately had several black lines appear on his forehead.

"No need, let's go! Just summon your summoned beast! I'm really impressed with you."

"Hey kid, can't you remember you're a summoning student?!"

"You're always neglecting your duties!"

Ye Qiu: ? ? ? ?
