Full-Time Magister: One Evolution Point Per Second

Chapter 2 Hunting Demons, Fireball Level 2

The giant-eyed rat probably never expected that its underestimated prey could actually unleash magic.

Even the cunning giant-eyed rats didn't have time to escape.

The ball of fire suddenly blasted towards the giant-eyed blood rat's pupil.

only……

Although this giant-eyed rat is very large, it is also very agile.

Even though he was a little slow to react, he still managed to reposition his pupils.

The fireball blasted straight at the giant-eyed rat's nose.

The blazing fireball erupted instantly!

Flames began to burn the giant-eyed rat's skin, causing it to let out a sharp cry.

At the same time, a scarlet light also burst forth instantly.

It shot straight toward Ye Qiu's shoulder.

Looking at the fireball that seemed to be about to go out, Ye Qiu was certain that if he dodged this attack, he would miss the best opportunity to kill this giant-eyed blood rat.

Given the giant-eyed rat's agility, Ye Qiu's current physical condition would make it difficult for him to dodge it.

With this in mind, Ye Qiu made a decisive decision.

Facing the terrifying beam of light that was powerful enough to shatter a rock, Ye Qiu made no move to dodge. Instead, he raised his left hand, and the seven stars once again coalesced into a star trail.

A surge of intense power instantly coalesced in Ye Qiu's left hand.

The moment they closed the distance, the scarlet light pierced straight through Ye Qiu's shoulder.

Pain instantly surged through Ye Qiu's brain.

however……

The threat, teetering on the edge of life and death, has already overshadowed the pain.

Ye Qiu stared intently at the giant eye rat's enormous pupil, gathered fire in one hand, and hurled it without hesitation.

This time, fear finally flashed in the giant-eyed rat's pupils.

The terrifying aura of death finally made the giant-eyed rat, which had been drinking from the Fountain of Fury, rediscover its true nature.

timid!

Beneath that enormous pupil, a ball of flame grew larger and clearer at a visible speed.

The giant-eyed rat, who had just been a hunter, also showed an expression of fear and terror, and made gurgling noises.

The giant-eyed rat frantically moved its body, trying to get away directly.

however……

Ye Qiu desperately closed the distance, so he wouldn't give the giant-eyed rat that chance.

Without hesitation, he hurled the fireball at the giant-eyed rat's eyes.

hiss……

The giant-eyed rat's eyes were instantly ignited by the flames.

A sharp sound suddenly rang out throughout the area.

The giant-eyed rat's massive body suddenly flung Ye Qiu away.

Under immense force, Ye Qiu was slammed heavily against the wall.

Under the terrifying force, Ye Qiu's expression was completely distorted, but his eyes remained fixed on the giant-eyed rat.

Until a notification sounded.

[Ding! Slayed a slave-level demon, gained 100 evolution points!]

The moment Ye Qiu heard the system notification, he immediately relaxed, panting heavily, clutching his shoulder and grimacing.

"Even the ancient torture of branding with hot irons couldn't have been this painful! It really hurts!"

Upon hearing the system notification, Ye Qiu finally realized that the demon before him was dead.

My first life-or-death crisis since transmigrating is finally over.

only……

What left Ye Qiu somewhat helpless was...

Killing a slave-level demon only cost me 100 evolution points!

This number was equivalent to 100 seconds of his own time, which really made Ye Qiu feel a little ashamed.

After making a comment, Ye Qiu didn't waste any time and silently recited a phrase in his mind.

"panel"

[Host]: Ye Qiu

[Skill]: Apprentice

[Skill]: Flame (Level 1)

Evolution Points: 123

Watching the evolution points gradually increase, Ye Qiu fell into deep thought.

Ye Qiu now has two choices!

One option is to lie low right now and wait for your evolution points to surge again, at least until the next spell allows you to advance.

That is, the next 1000 points will allow you to upgrade Fire Spike to Fire Spike·Bone Burning.

Another one is that he is now going out alone to hunt demons.

Try to shorten the time!

Hunting two demons can shorten the time by a full 3 minutes.

In the face of such a massive disaster, what Ye Qiu needs most is time!

Not to mention, general-level demons could appear at any moment, and once they do...

Ye Qiu is doomed!

but!

The latest novel is first published here!

Going out to hunt demons means risking being hunted down by them.

Ye Qiu's greatest asset right now is his ability to instantly cast basic-level magic.

This shouldn't be something a novice mage could do.

However, with the system's support, Ye Qiu had 100% control over Xingzi.

Any star trail can be formed in an instant.

This is the only point where Ye Qiu is stronger than other novice mages.

A moment later, Ye Qiu gritted his teeth and rushed directly towards the place where the giant-eyed rat was making noise.

……

A shopping plaza that has become a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.

On weekdays, this shopping plaza is always packed with people.

Especially since this time coincides with grocery shopping hours, it's incredibly crowded.

however……

After the terrifying attack by demons, the entire shopping plaza has been turned into a living hell.

Even more disturbingly, there were scattered demons there, gnawing on the remains of corpses.

Every now and then, a scream would pierce the silent square, signaling that someone had become food for the demons.

This is a gathering place for some slave-level demons.

Because demons are indifferent to human food, the more powerful warrior-level demons target magicians more often.

As a result, the entire shopping plaza basically became a gathering place for slave-level demons.

of course!

Fortunately, most of the servant-level demons here were summoned by the Winged Wolf, and once they were not called upon, they mostly acted alone.

Right now, in a corner on the first floor of the shopping mall.

A flash of fire.

"Squeak squeak squeak..."

The screams abruptly stopped, and a giant-eyed rat collapsed to the ground, emitting a burnt smell.

Ye Qiu moved with practiced ease, swiftly pulling his hand out of the pupil.

[Ding! 1000 evolution points have been reached. Evolve now?]

"evolution!"

Ye Qiu silently recited in his heart, and the next moment, the star in his spiritual world was instantly nourished by a warm current, which also nourished Ye Qiu's spiritual power.

A moment later, Ye Qiu didn't delay and silently recited a sentence in his mind.

"panel"

[Host]: Ye Qiu

[Skill]: Flame (Level 2)

Evolution Points: 2

Looking at his evolved Fire Sprite, Ye Qiu smiled.

In this world, even for someone like Mo Fan, the protagonist, it would probably take more than a year to cultivate magic normally.

But when it comes to myself, it doesn't even take half an hour.

Thinking of this, Ye Qiu felt a sense of relief and emotion.

And at that very moment!

Suddenly!
