However, if they returned, the three of them might miss the chance to save the shelter, or even all of humanity. Queen Maeve made up her mind; she wanted the other two to leave quickly, but Lyra and Jackson both refused.

Being valued by former superheroes is a source of pride for both of them, especially for Lyra. Queen Maeve is the only female superhero among the Seven. She is powerful and beautiful, and admired by girls all over America—Lyra is no exception.

"Alright, we'll go down together, but first," Queen Maeve looked at Jackson, "you need to set up a few remote-controlled bombs. If we can escape after learning the truth, these bombs can help us cover our retreat; if we can't escape—"

Hundreds of robots were arranged in a neat square formation, ranging from the earliest T-1 to the later T-800, and even the new Terminator they had recently seen. They were all motionless, with the optical sensors on their heads pointing to the central platform, where a huge holographic projection was displayed—a three-dimensional map of the area around Fort Irwin shelter.
