Chapter 303 Coordinates of the New World
Afterwards, the two also finalized the selection of personnel for the Ministry of Magic. While there are many powerful wizards in the DC Universe, good guys are few and far between. This may be related to the origins of the DC Universe. Currently, the only wizards definitively identified as good are Zatanna, Shazam, Madame Xavier, and Itlagan.
Rune proposed Itlergan as the first choice for the magical police, while Lady Shangdu or Doctor Fate could serve as the principal of the magic academy or the head of the magical world.
The Fate Doctor directly rejected Lady Shangdu's proposal to be the head of the magical world. While this renowned mage certainly possessed the qualifications and abilities to be the head of the magical world, her personality was unsuitable. This powerful wizard preferred solitude, and she was a mysterious and aloof, very traditional mage. The position of head of the magical world would inevitably bring her unrest, so Lady Shangdu would definitely not accept this position.
"But the fact that this mage with such powerful prophetic abilities didn't stop us proves we were right, doesn't it?" Rune asked rhetorically, a question that made Doctor Fate nod in agreement.
Indeed, Rune is right.
"Perhaps she would prefer a less demanding position that allows her to handle some strange and unusual items." Doctor Fate nodded. "For example, a department that manages dangerous magical creatures or dangerous magical artifacts."

In addition, Rune also had to participate in the site selection and construction of the magic academy. His transformation magic was like a bug in architecture, and the materials were molded at will, like clay in Rune's hands.
"I feel like your Transfiguration spells have become more refined," Doctor Fate said. Although it seemed like just smoother casting and faster material transformation, Doctor Fate knew what these seemingly simple changes meant.
Rune shrugged, saying nothing more. He didn't want to reveal too much about his power. In the DC universe, there were plenty of cases of people being caught off guard and losing their way. Being known by the enemy often meant being easy targets. For example, Superman always said that Kryptonite was a very precious thing, but in the end, every notable villain had a few pieces of Kryptonite, as if it were some kind of wholesale vegetable.
Look at Lady Santiago; she's survived from the time of King Arthur to the present day because she's good at weighing pros and cons and doesn't easily reveal her full abilities. Even now, the magical community's impression of Lady Santiago is that of a diviner; what kind of magic she's skilled in is unknown and unclear.
Finally, after more than a month, the magic school was completed. Hecate, who rarely came out with Rune to attend the ceremony, was able to learn some useful spells from the wisdom of these mortals, even though the strength of the mages in this world was not directly related to Hecate.
Especially after seeing the magic books stored in Kamar-Taj, even the God of Magic had to admit that even mortals have their merits.
Not only Hecate arrived, but also the Scarlet Witch and the Raven.
As a master of chaos magic, Wanda might be a suitable professor at this newly built magic academy—at least she's powerful enough. However, Wanda and Hecate's first meeting wasn't exactly harmonious.
"An apostle of Chaos?" Hecate looked Wanda up and down. "No wonder I've been in such a bad mood lately, it's you."
"Who are you?" Wanda asked, instinctively feeling that this woman was terrifying.
Seeing that things were going badly, Rune immediately grabbed the raven and then made a pause gesture: "She is Hecate, the embodiment of magic in this dimension."
Wanda's pupils contracted slightly.
"Did you hear that?" Hecate's voice was icy. "Your chaos magic is a threat to this universe; this power is dangerous."
Before Scarlet Witch could answer, a silver-white magic circle appeared beneath Wanda's feet. The twisted runes were mixed with all sorts of characters, so primitive yet so advanced.
"Hecate!" Rune shouted, "Stop!"
Rune knew, of course, that Wanda was a hot potato for any universe, and that beings of any dimension would, and should, be wary of this woman who could manipulate probability and use chaos magic. However, he knew the magnitude of the catastrophe facing the multiverse that led him to travel to other universes to recruit troops and even bring in such a dangerous woman.
But Hecate didn't know, and Rune was unwilling to tell her, otherwise Hecate might have taken most of the magic in the universe and run away without any pangs of conscience—because the mages of this universe owed her too much.
The goddess of magic glanced at Rune: "You know just how dangerous she is, don't you?"
Rune nodded.
"Then you'd better keep an eye on her."
Then, the magic circle beneath Wanda's feet dissipated, and apart from the black and red magic that was already flickering in the Scarlet Witch's hands, everything seemed as if nothing had happened.
"Let's go." Rune could only pretend that nothing had happened and led the three of them into the depths of the wilderness. Just a few steps away, a chasm separated ordinary people from mages.
It was an extremely magnificent architectural complex, situated atop a floating landmass, surrounded by an ever-flowing nebula. Bathed in sunlight, the stained-glass windows on the buildings shimmered with iridescent colors—and among the stories depicted in these windows were effusive praise of Hecate, the goddess of magic.
"Wow—"
Raven couldn't help but exclaim in admiration; she had never seen such a beautiful building. Hecate and Wanda nodded in agreement as well. This Gothic building perfectly matched their imagination of a magic academy—mysterious, beautiful, and historically significant, or at least it looked historically significant.
At this moment, Doctor Fate also teleported over and respectfully bowed to Hecate: "Welcome everyone. Today is the official opening day of the Magic Academy. I hope you all have a good time here. May I ask, beautiful lady, if you would mind if I gave you a tour of the academy?"
Hecate smiled and nodded. She had certainly seen the stained glass windows praising her, so she was in a good mood and immediately agreed to the other party's request—except for slapping Naboo's helmet away.
Nelson blinked and swallowed hard; he hadn't seen the woman's movements clearly. If Hecate had attacked him, he probably would have died on the spot.
Raven grabbed Rune's hand, wanting to go for a walk around the school with him. Rune glanced at Wanda, hoping she could help him, but Wanda just smiled and waved at him before going off to visit another place on her own.
Although the entire academy was built by Rune, he never expected that the Fate Doctor would actually invite the Forgotten Bar to come. This place is hidden between the dimensions of reality and magic, and is a gathering place for magicians, supernatural beings, and anti-heroes. Its boss is the Dark Master. Rune's biggest impression of this boss was during the Dark Metal event, when he handed over the sword that gave him all his superpowers to the gorilla detective, and then covered the rear alone.
When an ordinary person faces off against those depraved versions of Batman, the ultimate consequences are predictable.
After greeting the respectable man, Rune left with the raven; minors are prohibited from drinking alcohol.
In the evening, Rune returned home with the raven.
"Did you have fun?"
The raven nodded obediently.
"Then go to sleep." Rune patted her little head, then returned to the workshop—he had sensed the coordinates of the new world.
