"Damn! Are all the citizens of Gotham this crazy?"

The fleeing suspect ran amok on the road, overturning a large section of guardrails.

As Natasha controlled the police car and chased after the fleeing vehicle, her understanding of Gotham City deepened.

With his view blocked by Natasha, Lucius shouted in dissatisfaction:

"Can you sit up a little? I can't see where I'm going!"

Natasha, who was in the passenger seat, had taken over the driving, and now Lucius could only see her slender and alluring back, unable to see the road at all.

"Whoosh!"

Several sharp whooshing sounds whistled through the air, revealing that the fleeing vehicles had spotted the police closely following them and had begun firing!

"Damn it! All those penguin minions were taken down, how did that guy do that??"

On the other end of the walkie-talkie, looking at the numerous gang members lying dead in the parking lot, Brock's face was extremely grim.

Clearly, the Penguin had already dispatched his own henchmen before the police operation.

It's not surprising that the Penguin's intelligence network is superior to that of the Gotham Police Department, but what's terrifying is that... not only did the Penguin's subordinates fail to capture the "supplier" mentioned by the poisoner, but they were also all taken care of by that guy, which in turn exposed the police's arrest intentions, leading to the complete failure of this operation!

Inside the small room of the apartment, the flashing messages on the television caught the attention of a girl.

Professor Wood should be dead by now, so why are people still being harmed by this toxin?

Pamela put on a trench coat, covering her body completely, and walked out of her room.

As the girl walked, the plants on the street swayed in the wind, drifting slowly toward Pamela's direction.

No wonder Gotham was treated like a lawless zone by the Secret Service. On her first visit to Gotham, Natasha fully understood just how damned this place really was.

She had never felt so powerless in any other city!

Where was the cooperation expected in apprehending suspects? Where was the basic civility of the citizens? Why were there more gangsters present than police support?

"Hey... don't go too far when you're insulting the police, I'm still here..."

Having grown accustomed to fighting alone in Gotham, Lucius smirked.

However, he could understand Natasha's dissatisfaction.

The harsh environment of Gotham City prevented this agent from fully utilizing his abilities. Despite his superb driving skills, he was constantly thwarted when trying to avoid ordinary vehicles.

"Okay, stop talking, we're very close now."

Perhaps because they had already left the city center, the less congested roads allowed Natasha to quickly close the distance. Facing the suspect's vehicle, Lucius had already raised his hand, aiming at the tires...

Just before Lucius fired, a gang vehicle ahead suddenly drifted, blocking his view, and a gang member popped out and opened fire on the fleeing suspect!
