Douluo: The Thousand-Faced Angel in the Dragon King

Chapter 140 Cutting Off the Fire at the Bottom of the Blade

"Have we received a message from the Federal Academy of Sciences confirming their collaboration with our Qianmo Group?"

Qianmo stood in front of the experimental table, facing Kong Taining's projection, and remotely communicated with Kong Taining.

Two days ago, Kong Taining sent a message to Qianmo, saying that he had rushed to Mingdu to discuss with the Federal Academy of Sciences on behalf of Qianmo the matter of using the Sacred Knowledge Treasury as the main brain of the Star Dou Battle Network.

Qianmo Remote granted Kong Taining access to the Sacred Knowledge Treasury, allowing him to connect it to the Star Battle Network to test whether the Sacred Knowledge Treasury could take over the Star Battle Network.

After numerous experiments, the Federal Academy of Sciences discovered that the data processing capabilities of the sacred knowledge repository were perfectly suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the Star Battle Network's main brain.

"The cooperation between Qianmo Group and the Federal Academy of Sciences is almost finalized. They are very satisfied with the sacred treasure trove of knowledge," Kong Taining said slowly.

"However, the condition offered by the Federal Academy of Sciences is that we hand over the sacred treasure trove of knowledge to the federal government for full management."

"Hmph," Qian Mo snorted coldly, laughing angrily, "The Federation has no right to hand over the sacred treasure trove of knowledge to them completely."

Kong Taining looked slightly embarrassed at this moment; after all, who would ask for someone's treasure right away?

"According to them, Star Battle Network is a highly confidential project. If the Sacred Knowledge Treasury is the main control brain, they are not comfortable handing over the main control brain of Star Battle Network to outsiders."

"Heh," Qian Mo sneered, "Important? Who are you trying to fool? In their plans, Star Dou Battle Network is nothing more than a virtual battle platform. Although it does have some technological innovations, it is far from being a top-secret project of great importance."

"Moreover, I am the handpicked next commander of the Southern Legion, so I can hardly be considered an outsider."

"Um..." Kong Taining pondered for a long time before slowly saying, "Actually, although the Southern Legion is nominally one of the nine major legions of the Federation, it has always been outside the control of the Federation and has always obeyed orders but not commands. Therefore, the Federation's attitude towards the people of the Southern Legion is..."

"Hmph, what if I disagree?" Qian Mo said indifferently.

Kong Taining frowned and said, "In my opinion, the people at the Federal Academy of Sciences are not very willing to hand over the mainframe to us."

"Moreover, the people at the Federal Academy of Sciences are quite covetous of the sacred treasure trove of knowledge, and based on my understanding of them, they might secretly do something to sabotage it."

Qian Mo revealed a mocking smile and said sarcastically without any mercy, "The Federation is really getting worse and worse. No wonder the Tang Clan has overtaken us. They are not ambitious and either live off their past achievements or try to take over the achievements of others."

Kong Taining's embarrassment became increasingly apparent, because these problems in the Federation had indeed worsened in recent years, with many people holding positions without performing their duties and no innovative technologies emerging for a long time.

Even Star Dou Battle Network, as a virtual battle platform, is just so-so, because platforms like the Spirit Ascension Platform of the Spirit Transmission Tower and the Hall of Heroes of the Tang Sect already have such battle platforms. Star Dou Battle Network is just consuming the exhaust fumes of others.

Qian Mo remained silent for a moment before slowly saying, "Let me contact the Temple of War and see if they can step in."

Kong Taining's eyes lit up. He stroked his white beard, thought for a moment, and said, "Amo, you can contact people at the level of the Temple of War Gods."

"I can contact Hall Master Chen Xinjie directly," Qian Mo told him truthfully.

Kong Taining's lips curled up as he analyzed, "That's great. If Chen Xinjie steps forward, it will not only represent the Temple of War in supporting us, but the Sea God Legion will also be on our side."

"Because of Chen Xinjie, the Central Army Corps, the strongest among the nine army corps, will definitely not interfere in our matter."

"With the Southern Legion and the Holy Angel Family joining forces, perhaps we can turn the tables and take complete control of the Star Battle Network by relying on the Holy Knowledge Treasury."

Upon hearing this, Qian Mo raised an eyebrow, pinched his chin, and nodded. "Indeed, virtual battle platforms like Star Battle Network should be controlled by our military to select outstanding talents to contribute to the Federation."

"They want the sacred treasure trove of knowledge, so let's steal it like a monkey stealing peaches and take their entire fortune." Qian Mo's lips curled into a wicked smile.

"Old Kong, you hold off on the Federal Academy of Sciences for now. I'll go discuss this with my grandfather and Hall Master Chen."

"Alright, then I'll be waiting for your good news." Kong Taining smiled and hung up the call, his projection disappearing into thin air.

After a moment's thought, Qian Mo dialed the contact numbers of both Le Zheng'en and Chen Xinjie at the same time.

After a while, the projections of Le Zhengen and Chen Xinjie appeared in front of Qian Mo one after the other.

The projections of Le Zheng'en and Chen Xinjie exchanged a glance, both showing obvious confusion.

Le Zheng'en asked first, "Amo, what do you need me and Palace Master Chen for?"

Qian Mo told Le Zheng'en and Chen Xinjie about her discussion with Kong Taining. After listening to Qian Mo, Le Zheng'en and Chen Xinjie fell into thought.

After a long pause, Chen Xinjie said slowly, "I think it's a good idea. Indeed, as Amo said, this kind of virtual battle platform is most suitable for our military."

Clearly, Chen Xinjie was quite interested. The Star Dou Battle Network, this virtual battle platform, has considerable versatility and can be deployed throughout the entire Federation, allowing all Soul Masters in the Federation to participate in the Star Dou Battle Network.

It is excellent for both training one's own people and for searching and selecting talent.

"Commander Yue, what do you think?" Chen Xinjie asked Yue Zhengen.

Le Zheng'en said with a smile, "Of course I have no objection, but the War God Temple still needs to step in and win over the Star Battle Network."

As a leading military force, the Temple of War is the most suitable and acceptable entity for the Federation to control the Star Wars Network.

Chen Xinjie nodded happily, "Yes, I will ask the Federation for the Star Battle Network another day, and then we will all work together."

"In addition, I can persuade Yu Guanzhi to get the Central Army Corps to support us."

Chen Xinjie and Yu Guanzhi, the commander of the Central Army Corps, were fellow students and had a very close relationship.

"Haha, then I'll leave it to Palace Master Chen." Le Zheng'en said with a smile.

Chen Xinjie nodded, "Then it's a deal. I'll inform you, Commander of the Music Legion, when the time is right, and we'll all work together."

Finally, Chen Xinjie looked at Qian Mo and said with a smile, "If you have nothing to do at Shrek Academy, come visit the Temple of War more often. You'll be joining the Temple of War sooner or later anyway."

Qian Mo nodded slightly. He really didn't have anything to do at Shrek Academy, and Ya Li and the others were too lazy to care about him.

"Okay, I'll definitely go to the Temple of War when I have the chance."

After agreeing on the terms, Le Zheng'en and Chen Xinjie hung up the communication one after the other.
