After leaving the restroom, Vito said goodbye to the two, telling David to call him if he needed anything, and then gave the puppet chip to Lucy.

"I made this myself. Take a look and see if there are any differences between it and the ones on the market. Consider it as a trial for my users. I'm leaving now. See you next time."

Vito found the cyborg doctor who wanted to rob David, and, as always, pulled out a gun and transferred the money.

But this cybernetic doctor was no weakling; he often handled firearms and had two burly men assisting him, who would also act as henchmen when necessary.

Seeing that Vito only carried a single pistol, the two burly men grinned and stepped forward. After two shots rang out, the two men fell to the ground.

"Sorry, buddy, this is a high-end customized product."

Vito's pistol wasn't equipped with any "peaceful" features. His modified Unified Pistol was incredibly effective at close range, boasting high power and stopping power. It could even penetrate armor-piercing bullets embedded in subcutaneous armor, including armor-piercing capped bullets! Within 25 meters, it was practically a hand cannon, but beyond 25 meters, its power dropped significantly, and beyond 50 meters, bullets flew wildly.

But no one would engage in a firefight with a pistol and an assault rifle; 25 meters is enough.

Seeing the two burly men's miserable state, the doctor quickly transferred the money, then knelt down and begged Vito to spare him, even handing over the pistol he had hidden behind his back.

The answer is that the handsome young man is currently surrounded by a group of muscular men. Poor David, he is being lifted up by a tall, muscular man with one hand, like a little chick.

David coughed twice more. He remembered the unexpected large sum of money at home. He had found the money by chance after his mother's car accident and used it to pay for her emergency treatment. The doctors who took the money wanted to remove his mother's prosthetic body, until she was rescued by Vito, who then paid for Vito's surgery.

His mother probably wanted to return the money and give the prosthetic body to Vito, but he completely forgot to tell his mother that he had found the money.

"Alright, kid, stop staring! Hey, come check me out and take my prosthetic body off!"

The man with long arms next to him gave an assessment, then said with a grin, "It'll cost money to take it off."

The burly man let out two ferocious laughs and said...

"Then let's dismember this kid! Will that make it cheaper?"

"Yes, but not by much, just a little bit."

The burly man easily spun David around, then lifted David's foot with one hand and said, "Let's start from here, tear it in the middle, hahahaha."

Lucy stood by the window, smoking a cigarette with a blank expression.

"Hey, are you going to make my room all covered in blood?"

David's face was swollen from the beating, and he said weakly to Lucy, "You, you lied to me?"

David's face contorted again.

"Shut up! If the person I was trading with hadn't said they urgently needed the money, I wouldn't have transferred it to them beforehand. Hey kid, didn't anyone tell you not to just install someone else's prosthetic body?"

At that moment, a pistol fell out of David's pocket.

"Oh? Kid, you brought something with you?"

A strong woman next to him picked up a pistol.

"That's what the burly man said mockingly."

"Constitutional and military unification, you think you can play the role of an angry customer or a hot-tempered driver with this cheap pistol? This is the first time I've encountered this situation after so many transactions with this person! Tell me! Who gave you my cybernetic body!"

David paused for a moment, then asked.

"Who is your trader?"

The burly man replied, "Gloria Martinez."

"Cough cough, cough, that's my mother."

"Oh? Then why would she give her prosthetic body to her son?"

"Cough cough cough, my mom was admitted to the emergency room yesterday."

"Oh? She made the deal with me the day before yesterday. What happened to her? Was she attacked by the NCPD?"

"No, she got caught up in a gang fight. She was a completely innocent bystander. She went to the police station and the police tried to rescue her, but those people, along with the Cleaners, wanted to take her prosthetic body. Cough cough cough, and then she was rescued by a kind person."

The burly man seemed to be deep in thought, and he said in a deep voice.

“Go on, kid, you still haven’t told me why you got this prosthetic body installed.”

David paused for a moment and then said.

“My mother didn’t know I had spent the money. She woke up very late and told me to give the prosthetic body to the kind person as a thank you gift.”

The strong man released David, who collapsed to the floor.

Lucy chimed in from the side.

“I met that kind man; he got David the prosthetic body.”

The burly man leaned back on the sofa and said.

“Damn street cleaners, but kid, you’re going too far.”

David paused for a moment.

“I will refund your money, but you will have to wait a while.”

The burly man laughed.

"No, kid. Do you know how dangerous it is to insert a random prosthetic body from the roadside into your body? Besides, that thing is military-grade, and it's very difficult to find a replica."

David wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said.

“I will give you the money you gave to your mother, but…”

"Hey, Mann, come take a look at this."

The strong woman handed David's gun to the burly man and said.

The group quickly formed a formation, then Lucy opened the door, and as soon as the door opened, Mann went to subdue Vito.

David was anxious; he couldn't stand by and watch these people hurt Vito. He made a plan: as soon as the door opened, he would drive the Saenweinstein to help Vito.

"Alright, everyone, let David go, or I'll let this string of grenades set off a firework display in this room."

Everyone was immediately startled. Vito had actually come out of the bathroom behind them. He was holding a string of high-explosive grenades in his left hand and a military-grade M221 Saratoga in his right hand. However, the gun had obviously been modified, especially the large drum magazine at the bottom, which could probably hold nearly a hundred bullets.

Seeing the pistol that he had given to David in Mann's hand, he spoke slowly.

"Relax, everyone. If I open the door from both sides, there's no way there'll be a single living person in this room. You big guy, take that short and powerful Ghost-Fearing Shot and try hitting that iron door. Remember, point the muzzle downwards. Don't go looking for trouble."

Mann fired a shot at the iron gate, piercing it and sending a large spark flying. The bullet was large-caliber, but the recoil was barely noticeable.

"See that? This Saratoga I'm holding is much more powerful than that thing. You guys put down your weapons and release David, and we can talk things over. Has he gone in yet? If he has, I'll pay you normally, but don't expect the lion to ask for money."

Everyone was completely confused. What did they mean by going in? But they were unusually wary of Vito's gun, and a standoff ensued.

"Hey, white-haired Lucy, stop thinking about blackening me, and put down that little toy you're itching to touch."

Unfortunately, David's pride was of no use; neither side was willing to give him face.

David had no choice but to calm everyone down. He activated Sionstein, took Lucy's cigarette, flashed back to his original spot, showed it to everyone, then put the cigarette back in Lucy's hand and flashed back to his original spot again.

David's nose started bleeding, he wiped it casually, and then said to Mann and his group.

"The doctor said that ordinary people can only use it two or three times a day, but I used it nine, no, ten times today, so I can join you and make money for you. Now, please put down your guns!"

Vito was a little confused. Fearing that David had been scammed, he followed to check on the situation.

As he got closer, he heard the voices of Mann and his gang. He then placed a small gadget by the door to attract their attention, while he himself slipped through a ventilation vent and entered the bathroom.

Vito charged forward, gun pointed at him. He thought he knew Night City was corrupt, but he didn't expect it to be this corrupt. David had been scammed and was now forced to sell himself to pay off his debts. What the hell was going on? Was there no law at all?

Mann and his group were taken aback by David's prosthetic body; it seemed the kid was a perfect match for it. Mann was also ready to accept David's terms.

Kovito's actions made them tense up again.

"Hey! Don't come any closer!"

Vito cursed, "Damn it, a bunch of losers! David and Whitey connect online and you want him to sell himself to pay off his debts? You guys have a death wish!"

Mann was puzzled: "I only want my prosthetic body, I don't want this kid to sell himself."

Vito continued cursing, "Then why the hell did you send the white-haired guy to seduce David? So what if they slept together? It's not like he can't get rid of the prosthetic body. Why the hell are you making him pay back the money?!"

Lucy blushed slightly and yelled, "Shut up! I didn't sleep with him! Put down your guns now! Let's talk this over!"

Vito also said, "It's time to sort things out properly."

The two groups put away their devices and sat facing each other. Vito made a mental call to David, telling him to turn on the S.A.W.S. if anything went wrong.

"Okay, tell me what happened."

Mann explained the whole story.

Vito smiled.

"That's it? It's just a Sianway, right? Is it really necessary to go to such lengths? This thing can't even handle the crowds. What's so great about it?"

Vito's outrageous remarks shocked everyone present, and they all guessed that this guy was either Arasaka Yoriyuki or a cyber madman.

"What are you talking about? This is a military-grade prosthetic body!"
