Back at the castle, the Great Hall was buzzing with excitement, especially the Gryffindor table, where the twins George and Fred were surrounding Harry, cheering and whooping, creating a lively scene. Jerry scanned the room, and strangely, Fleur was nowhere to be seen, and Hermione wasn't among the celebrating Gryffindors either.

"Harry, have you seen Hermione and Fleur?" Jerry asked softly.

"Fleur Delacour was taken away by Madame Maxime, and as for Hermione, she just went back to the Gryffindor common room alone." Harry paused, sounding somewhat hesitant. "Jerry, Hermione seemed a little upset just now."

"Alright, I got it!" Jerry sighed softly.

"Hey, Jerry, congratulations!" The twin brothers, George and Fred, said loudly upon seeing Jerry. "Your score is the highest among all the champions!"

"That's right, but Karkaroff only gave Harry and you four points!" Ron added from the side, his tone filled with indignation. "He's too biased; he gave Krum ten points! It's just not fair!"

"You guys are... reconciled?" Jerry asked curiously, looking at Harry and Ron. The atmosphere between them seemed to have returned to normal, without the slightest bit of resentment, as if all their previous quarrels and unpleasantness had never happened.

"Okay, I admit I was wrong before!" Ron understood after watching the competition today that it wasn't about showing off; it was about risking your life!

"But Jerry, your performance today was absolutely amazing!" George said, almost jumping with excitement at the mention of the competition. "I bet all the newspaper headlines tomorrow will be about you! Jerry, you're going to be famous! Also, that dragon was really... awesome!"

"I just didn't expect it to be fake; you completely fooled all of us!" Fred nodded, then added.

Jerry smiled without saying a word.

"This thing is quite heavy," Lee Jordan said, picking up the golden egg that Harry had placed on the table, weighing it with slightly trembling hands. "Harry, open it quickly and let's see what secrets are hidden inside!"

Harry took the golden egg from Lee Jordan's hand, his heart racing. He carefully inserted his fingertips into the delicate grooves on the egg and cautiously pried it open. However, the golden egg was empty. Just as everyone was wondering, an unprecedented, terrifying shriek suddenly erupted, piercing through the entire hall. It was sharp, ear-splitting, and sent shivers down everyone's spines.

Harry seemed to recognize the sound, like the horrifying noise created by the ghost band at Nearly Headless Nick's deathday party.

Harry quickly slammed the golden egg shut, but the terrifying echo still reverberated in everyone's minds, lingering for a long time. After a long while, everyone recovered from the sudden shock, looking at each other, their hearts filled with lingering fear.

"What was that sound just now?" Seamus Finnigan stared at the golden egg, swallowing hard. "It sounded like the wails of a female ghost. Harry, your next task might be to cross a land haunted by ghosts!"

Neville, on the other hand, was pale, and the sausage in his hand accidentally fell to the ground. He said in a trembling voice, "That sounded more like someone being subjected to unspeakable torture! Harry, could it be the Cruciatus Curse? For the second task, are you going to have to deal with the Cruciatus Curse?"

"Neville, don't let your imagination run wild; that's impossible," George quickly interrupted Neville. "The school would never allow the use of the Cruciatus Curse on the champions; it's illegal."

The surrounding students were discussing animatedly, with various opinions, the most unreliable of which came from the twins!

"I think that sound is somewhat similar to the song Percy hums when he's taking a bath. Maybe your next challenge is to rush into the bathroom and attack him while he's bathing, haha!" Fred guessed.

"Jerry, do you have any ideas?" Harry asked, looking at Jerry, who was temporarily unwilling to open the golden egg again.

"I just got the golden egg; how could I have any ideas so quickly!" Jerry shook his head. However, he remembered that it seemed to be related to water, but he didn't remember the specific details. He decided to go back and find the Slytherin prefect and borrow his prefect-exclusive bathroom to try it out.

"Don't worry, Harry. Didn't you say that the second task won't be held until February next year? You have plenty of time to study it!" George said quickly, afraid that Jerry would also give in to curiosity and open his newly acquired golden egg. He didn't want to hear that terrifying sound again.

"Jerry, come back to the Gryffindor common room with us to celebrate!" Fred said. "Don't worry, no one will mind; everyone's used to it anyway!"

"That's right, we got all kinds of cakes from the kitchen, as well as pumpkin juice and butterbeer. Let's have a good party tonight!"

"Oh, right," suddenly, Fred seemed to remember something, changing the subject. "Harry, we found Mr. Crouch's house-elf in the kitchen, and another one, um... let me think, what's his name... I remember he used to be the Malfoy's house-elf..."

Jerry politely declined George and Fred's kindness and turned to enter the Slytherin common room. Sure enough, the Slytherins were all gathered there celebrating.

Several older students hesitated when they saw Jerry, then braced themselves and walked up to him, inviting him to join the celebration. Jerry shook his head; he didn't want to waste time with these people and went straight back to his dormitory.

The next day's morning paper, as everyone expected, Jerry became the absolute focus. On the newspaper, he stood heroically on the field, holding his wand high in his right hand, with a huge fiery dragon roaring behind him, flames churning, creating an extremely shocking scene.

Jerry also became a top celebrity at Hogwarts. From the dormitory to the Great Hall, the students he encountered along the way were all holding newspapers, secretly observing Jerry himself, then pointing to Jerry's photo on the newspaper and whispering. The Hogwarts girls even cut out large photos of Jerry from the newspaper, wanting to get his autograph as a souvenir.
