Summary of the end of Volume 2

Author: It’s Witch Harley

Summary of the end of Volume 2

The second volume is finished.

The author feels that his writing is not very good, because when he was writing, he wanted to write a different Lockhart. He always looked at the useless clown Lockhart and felt tired of aesthetics.

But it is obvious that the effect is not very good. Many of the foreshadowings that I wanted to lay out were not laid, and it seemed very messy. As a result, it was a bit anticlimactic, and some subscriptions were dropped.

So the author himself has become a clown, blah blah blah.

Tell me your thoughts.

I have always felt that although Lockhart is not a top wizard, he is not particularly weak, at least on the average level.

After all, he has stolen so many stories, and he must have successfully attacked many wizards.

Even if these people are all unique and can only fight certain dark creatures, they are still dark creatures and are dangerous existences.

Therefore, their most basic vigilance should not be lacking, especially according to the few words in the original work, several of them are people who have lived far away from wizard society and have lived alone for a long time.

This kind of wizard will never lack vigilance.

So is Lockhart, who has never missed so many times, weak? Maybe he is not particularly strong, but he definitely cannot be said to be particularly weak.

And his memory magic is definitely not bad. In the original book, it is only said that everything is forgotten, but please don’t forget that some wizards saved a village.

This means that more than one person witnessed what happened, and it is very simple for others to obtain evidence.

Lockhart has received the Order of Merlin and is a member of the Anti-Dark Arts Alliance, so these two will definitely do simple investigations.

Lockhart said that he saved the village, so the people in the village must have an impression of him, right?

To say the least, these people didn't even investigate, but those fanatic fans in the magic world who can take a trip at any time, what if they check in?

So through this reasoning, I added the setting that Lockhart is good at memory magic, so that he can compile the memories of people in the village.

Lockhart's strength is not weak, but the original work shows that his hips are stretched, so I chose to add illusion skills to him to better match the memory magic.

At the same time, the setting of the curse was also added. Because he was cursed, he became more exaggerated. He knew that he was not qualified for the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, but he still held it forcibly and was unwilling to leave.

The diary took advantage of this, and while lifting the curse on him, it also quietly modified his memory and amplified the flaws in his character.

After all, when he was 16 years old, according to the plot of the sixth part, Voldemort had already modified his uncle's memory, which could not be detected by ordinary detection methods, so he should be quite accomplished in memory magic.

Then, when the curse was lifted, Lockhart relaxed his vigilance, and Voldemort slightly changed his memory and added some fighting methods, so it makes sense.

At the same time, Voldemort amplified his arrogant emotions and made him unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality.

After all, Voldemort had always been a master at playing with people's hearts when he was young. It was only when he got older and became crazy that he lost this ability to a certain extent and began to be superstitious about the fear of death.

Because of this arrogance, Lockhart dared to rush in front of the Aurors, professors and all students, openly provoked, and used the spell Voldemort taught him to kill the Aurors.

In addition, he was slightly strengthened by Voldemort and gained part of the vitality of the 12 dwarfs after their death, so he was able to compete with Harley at the beginning when she was not serious and many of her abilities were not used.

Later, when Harry became serious, the arrogant Lockhart was killed.

In short, it’s uncomfortable. I felt that the idea was okay, but I didn’t write it out, so I finished this volume hastily.

The author will summarize it later and try to avoid this kind of problem.

The third volume will be published soon, but thinking about Azkaban, there doesn’t seem to be much to write about, so I’ll try to add more original content about the magical world, such as potions competitions and so on.
