Chapter 1173: Severance

In the nameless valley, ever since Allen temporarily settled down, various anomalies began to appear.

Sometimes the earth would shake violently, as if a sudden earthquake had occurred, and other times, violent winds would sweep through, with thunder and rain enveloping the wilderness, lingering for a long time.

The creatures that originally lived there, out of instinctive fear, fled one after another, and even the struggling plants sparsely dotting the exposed rock layers withered little by little under the constantly changing harsh climate, gradually declining.

Deep in the valley, the Beastman Saint was now completely naked, sitting cross-legged on a huge rock, his ferocious male organ and sturdy muscles fully exposed to the air, yet there was not a trace of lewdness.

If one observed carefully, one could also see the muscles hidden beneath the dense fur undulating rhythmically, with droplets of sweat and white vapor being squeezed out from between the skin, either dripping onto the rock along the fur or scattering into the air.

“Hmph!!!”

Allen's brow suddenly furrowed into a frown, and he couldn't help but let out a low groan, then his large hand suddenly punched out several times towards the void, the force of his punches creating a violent wind that howled through the valley's rock walls, stirring up countless dust.

Along with the force of his punches, a portion of Allen's spiritual power that he had actively severed and abandoned was also thrown out of his body; this spiritual power, carrying immense and redundant thoughts, transformed back into natural energy after leaving its owner, but before it could dissipate, it reacted chemically with the wills of myriad living beings, linking up with the natural magic to form clusters of dark clouds above the valley.

Crack!!!

A torrential rain mixed with hail instantly poured down, washing through the valley, and patches of colorful mist emerged from within, various sounds and illusions of the mundane world rising and falling in this valley, occasionally flashing images in the sky, streams, and clouds.

Seductive, violent, humble, and fearful sounds constantly swirled around Allen's ears and in his mind, trying to influence and pollute the Beastman's spiritual world.

But how could Allen let them have their way!

The divine power flowing within his body transformed into clusters of golden divine fire, constantly tempering every cell of his body as it flowed through his blood; fortunately, Allen had already completed the energization of his body, otherwise, the pain brought about by the constant tempering of the flesh by the divine fire alone would have been enough to drive a person to collapse.

The body expanded and contracted during the tempering, twisting Allen's body and face entirely, sometimes the abdomen swelling like a balloon, sometimes the muscles withering like a dried corpse.

The divine fire advanced all the way, even directly manifesting in the sea of consciousness, endless spiritual power evaporating into clouds under the scorching of the divine fire, and then condensing into raindrops in the high sky, falling continuously, all in order to eliminate the pollution of the external will on Allen's main body.

Stormy waves surged wildly in the sea of consciousness, Allen's main consciousness drifting like a lone boat in the wind, and a slight carelessness would cause this violent turbulence to tear his ego consciousness into countless fragments, thus becoming an idiotic existence.

Days and nights passed, and adventurers who had passed by sensed the unusual scene here, thinking that some adventure had occurred, and boldly broke into this mist-shrouded valley, but quickly fled out of it in panic, leaving this place without looking back.

But even after leaving this mist, these adventurers could not feel safe, all kinds of inexplicable sounds always rang in their ears and minds, and the world before them became sometimes real and sometimes false, making it impossible to distinguish reality, and even seeking the divine術 treatment of the temple priests was of no avail, eventually going mad and heading towards death.

The vast energy containing the power of faith, the spiritual power of a Saint-level existence comparable to a god, and divine power, even a legendary powerhouse with the strength of body and spirit would find it difficult to retreat completely from this mist, let alone ordinary adventurers.

This mist is now like a kind of spiritual virus, devouring the surrounding natural energy to maintain its own existence while silently infecting any creatures that enter it.

Perhaps before long, this place will become another adventurer's forbidden area that people will talk about with fear, or perhaps after Allen leaves this place, these dangerous energies will lose their source and dissipate, who knows?

Allen did not know the changes that were taking place in this nameless valley, and even if he knew, he would not care too much; as long as it did not expand and endanger the natural ecology of the Northern Territory, then having such a forbidden place might not be a bad thing.

After continuously tempering himself several times and severing nearly 1/20 of his spiritual power, Allen painfully stopped this action. He could not judge whether there were still chaotic energy residues in his body, and he did not know whether his temperament had changed, after all, as the master, he was the one who was least able to feel his own character.

However, he was very sure that his current actions had at least delayed the transformation towards a ruthless and indifferent god, because he could feel that his heart was now showing emotional fluctuations.

The painful and difficult tempering eventually made the tireless Allen feel a bit tired, and now he just wanted to hurry back to the barracks and have a good sleep.

This faint emotion of wanting to relax had just risen from the depths of his mind when it was almost suppressed by Allen's powerful and resolute will, but fortunately, Allen was now most concerned about the needs and changes of his heart, and immediately realized and quickly made a decision: then let's indulge a little and go back to sleep, consider it a vacation for myself!!

Without further entanglement over whether the emergence of this emotion and the decision he made were from his own heart or kidnapped by the desires of his believers, Allen took out a set of coarse linen clothes and put them on in a few strokes, then soared into the sky and flew towards the Thorns Fortress he had come from.

While flying, Allen's brain unconsciously began to think again: How much did the Northern Territory Allied Forces lose in this siege battle? How much did the Elven army lose? Have the reinforcements from their kingdom begun to move out, and what is the scale…

Allen, with his hardworking life, is still unable to completely relax!
