A shameful note

I spent a morning and a morning reading papers in the research laboratory. After I came back, I sat in front of the computer for several hours starting from the afternoon. I couldn't even code a thousand words. Instead, I suffered from nausea, vomiting, and dizziness.

I guess I drank too much coffee while reading the paper, which made my brain a little unclear.

Confused thinking leads to unintelligible typing, which looks like a bunch of specious gibberish;

Although it's a bit shameful, I really can't write a new chapter in this state, so let me be shameful and forget about today.

After looking at the points balance and the number of available leave requests, I guess this is the last chance to ask for leave this month. I will have to continue typing for the next twenty days even with a 50-degree fever.
