On the other side, Xiaomei entered a dark cave. A chilling atmosphere permeated the cave, and various traps and mechanisms were scattered throughout. Xiaomei proceeded cautiously, when suddenly she heard a gentle voice come from the darkness: "Don't be afraid, I will protect you."

She turned her head and saw a young man with a gentle smile, but his eyes revealed a deep sorrow. "Who is he?" Xiaomei asked in confusion.

“I am the love and longing in your heart.” The man slowly stepped forward, reaching out to stroke her face. “Let me stay, we will be together forever.”

Xiaomei's heart skipped a beat. She knew this was a soft spot, a vulnerability deep within her, but she quickly realized it wasn't her true self. "I can't be fooled by you. I must complete our mission!" She firmly pushed the man's hand away and continued walking forward.

The old man stood on a vast snowfield, surrounded by an endless white world. A biting wind howled, and snowflakes stung his face like knives. He closed his eyes, took a few deep breaths of the cold air, then opened them, his gaze resolute.

“I knew you would come looking for me,” the old man said in a deep voice.

A figure in a white robe slowly approached from afar, his face aged yet kind. "I am the responsibility and mission in your heart," the person said softly. "You have been carrying too many burdens. Aren't you tired? Why not unload them and lighten your load?"

The old man smiled, a warm light flashing in his eyes: "Because this is my responsibility as a mentor, and it is also my promise to them. Only in this way can I feel at ease."

As he finished speaking, everything around them gradually faded away, and they returned to the main hall in reality. The man in black robes nodded in satisfaction: "You have passed the test of your hearts. Now you may proceed to the Sacred Heart."

"Thank you," Zhao De said gratefully to the man in black.

Liu Feng was panting heavily, cold sweat beading on his forehead, as the dark forest before him gradually faded. He felt as if he had woken from a nightmare, and everything before him had returned to the main hall. His other companions also emerged from the portal one after another, each with a weary yet determined expression.

The old man broke the silence first: "Is everyone alright?"

"It's alright, it's just a little...not quite used to it yet." Xiaomei frowned slightly, clearly still thinking about what had just happened.

Zhao De nodded, his eyes still resolute: "We have passed the test; next is the Sacred Heart."

The man in black robes slowly stepped forward, his voice deep and solemn: "Indeed, you have demonstrated true courage and will. Now, please follow me into the holy land."

Having said that, the man in black robes waved his hand again, and the crystal ball emitted a soft light. A brand new portal slowly unfolded before everyone, leading to an unknown space.

The group exchanged glances and nodded to each other. Their hearts were filled with determination and hope, for they knew this adventure was not merely about finding the Sacred Heart, but also about exploring their own inner selves.

Liu Feng took a deep breath and stepped into the portal first. His steps were firm and steady, and the sound of his companions' footsteps could be heard behind him.

As everyone passed through the portal, a magnificent and splendid world unfolded before them. Golden light bathed the entire space, and a faint fragrance filled the air. A path strewn with golden petals stretched into the distance, ending at a towering golden palace, radiating dazzling light.

"This is the sacred ground." The man in black robes pointed ahead. "The sacred heart is inside the palace, but it is protected by layers of guards and cannot be easily touched."

Zhao De gripped his longsword tightly, his sharp gaze fixed ahead: "No matter how many obstacles there are, we will overcome them one by one."

"Then let's set off!" Liu Feng waved his hand and led the way along the path of golden petals.

The group followed closely behind, cautiously observing their surroundings. Despite the unusually peaceful environment, they knew countless unknown risks lurked within. Suddenly, a deep roar echoed in the distance, sending chills down their spines.

"Something's up!" Zhao De immediately became alert.

Sure enough, several enormous stone giants surged in from all directions, blocking their path. These giants were imposing, their eyes gleaming with a fierce light.

"It seems our challenge has only just begun." Xiaomei bit her lower lip lightly, and took out an exquisite staff in her hand.

"Prepare for battle!" Liu Feng brandished his short stick and charged forward first.

The giant stone statues launched a ferocious attack, each punch capable of shattering the ground. Zhao De nimbly dodged, searching for an opportunity to counterattack. Liu Feng, on the other hand, used his agility to constantly evade the giants, trying to find a weak point to attack.

The old man stood to the side, chanting incantations to cast a protective shield for his teammates. He knew his age was no longer suitable for charging into battle, but he could still provide strong support from the rear.

After a fierce battle, the group finally joined forces to defeat all the stone giants.

Everyone was still catching their breath, but smiles appeared on their faces.

Because they knew their mission was complete!
