When no one was watching, Chang Wei could feel streams of energy surging within his body. The black hole that flowed into his body was absorbed and then released pure and peculiar energy, which was absorbed by his body and acupoints.

If Chang Wei could see inside his own body, he would find that another acupoint had appeared, and the snow-white energy within it was exceptionally powerful, no less than the energy of flames.

Sato unleashed his speed ability, like a harvester. With a flash of black shadow, zombies fell in droves, like harvested rice.

Yoko Okino, on the other hand, was more rugged, wielding an iron rod like a bulldozer, capable of killing several zombies with a single blow.

Soon, within a five-meter radius of Yoko Okino, there were countless mangled corpses, some of which were still trembling slightly.

The others stayed behind the three of them, dealing with any remaining survivors.

Soon, the group continued on their way, eliminating all the zombies in their path.

Chang Wei and the others had no time to rest. Seeing the zombies closing in again, they had to evacuate as quickly as possible.

In a luxurious villa not far away, a woman suddenly opened the window and waved to the crowd. The bright red strip of cloth in her hand was particularly eye-catching and immediately attracted everyone's attention.

"Help!"

On the red cloth, two neat and elegant characters came into view, clearly written by a woman.

"Chang Wei?"

Sato cast an inquiring glance, seemingly asking whether they should save the woman, while Nakano Miki bit her lip, looking at Chang Wei expectantly. As a police officer, she couldn't turn a blind eye to the danger others were in.

They stood by and did nothing the previous two times because they lacked the ability to do so.

She understood Chang Wei's choice; if 853 hadn't done that, they might not have been able to get here smoothly.

Therefore, despite her inner struggle, she held back from speaking. But now that they had reached their destination, she desperately hoped Chang Wei would agree to help her.

"Ignore it!" Unfortunately, Chang Wei's cold words shattered her illusions. As soon as he finished speaking, Chang Wei had already run forward.

Chang Wei led the way, followed by Sato and Yoko Okino. Although Miki Nakano was reluctant, she still waved to the woman, indicating that she would go to save her.

"What a peculiar combination! There's an evolved being, an ordinary person, and a policeman!"

In that room, the abandoned woman was not disappointed; she simply gazed calmly in the direction the group had left and spoke.

The woman looked to be around forty years old, like a successful businesswoman, and wore light makeup.

Although no longer young and lively, he has gained a sense of experience and wisdom, as well as a profound understanding of the world. He also possesses an aura of authority that commands respect without anger, much like a valiant general on the battlefield.

205 Hito Komachi

"Mommy, are we going to die? Those zombies are so scary, Komachi is so frightened!"

At that moment, a timid voice rang out. A very cute little girl, about eight or nine years old, walked up to the lady, looked out the window, and whispered to her mother, her voice filled with barely concealed fear.

The woman gently stroked the girl's hair, her eyes sparkling with wisdom, and softly comforted her daughter:

"Don't be afraid, Komachi. Mom has already asked the people downstairs for help. I believe they will come to rescue us soon!"

"You saw it yourself, they're all very powerful. These zombies are no match for them!"

The woman's voice seemed to have a reassuring magic; soothed by her words, the little girl gradually nestled in the woman's arms and slowly fell asleep.

"If you have great ambitions, you will definitely come to me!"

After putting her daughter back on the bed, the woman went to the window again and talked to herself in the direction where Chang Wei had disappeared, saying things that only she could understand.

Next, everyone rushed to the last red and white high-rise building, which was dozens of stories tall. One family lived on the twentieth floor. There used to be an elevator, which was very convenient, but now, due to a power outage, the elevator was out of service, so they had to climb the stairs!

……

Ten minutes later, Chang Wei and his group looked as if they had been pulled out of the water, their bodies soaked in sweat.

After climbing twenty floors in a row, even Ada Wong, who had the best stamina, felt exhausted, let alone Sato, Yoko Okino, and Miharu Kashiwagi.

Miki Nakano is alright, after all, she's a police officer, so her physical condition is a bit better than others.

The worst off were Takagi Saya and Minami Rigo. These two frail girls had never climbed so many buildings before. When they finally reached the top, they were so exhausted that they could barely stand. They collapsed onto the floor, not wanting to move anymore and just wanting to fall asleep.

Chang Wei paid no heed to any of that. His eyes widened as he glared at the damaged security door, a chilling murderous aura emanating from him, even more terrifying than before. His eyes were bloodshot, and an aura of despair permeated everyone's hearts. They stared in horror at Chang Wei; he seemed like a demon, suffocating them!

The door opened, and the room looked like it had been through an earthquake. Furniture was overturned, broken bowls and plates, scattered clothes and pillows, toys were carelessly thrown around, and there was a pool of bright red blood on the living room floor.

A zombie with half its leg gnawed off, leaving only bones, wandered around the house, its belly bulging, as if it had just devoured something!

"Go to hell!"

"die!"

"die!"

As if struck by something, Chang Wei roared and, without using his knife, threw a punch that, instead of aiming for the zombie's head, severed one of its legs, splattering blood and flesh everywhere. Then, like a madman, Chang Wei unleashed another barrage of punches, each one costing the zombie a limb.

Blood mist and bone fragments filled the air, leaving only the torso of the zombie lying on the ground with its large belly. Its face showed no fear, only a thirst for flesh and blood.

"Ow!"

The zombie had a ferocious look in its eyes and kept making strange roars, as if it was mocking Chang Wei.

Chang Wei's eyes were fanatical and bloodthirsty as he looked at the zombies, showing no sympathy whatsoever, only endless killing intent.

Chang Wei walked step by step toward the zombie, looked at its ugly face, and stomped on it until it was crushed.

"puff!"

In an instant, another patch of red and white appeared on the ground, and the zombie died just like that.

Chang Wei looked sadly at the zombie's belly, while the others stood quietly to the side, not daring to disturb it.

Suddenly, a voice came: "Are you here to find food and women?"

Everyone turned around in surprise. The door to the opposite room opened, and a woman who looked to be in her thirties opened the door and asked in a low voice.

There was a man next to her, holding a kitchen knife, watching them nervously.

"They're gone, they've left!"

A look of wild joy flashed in Chang Wei's eyes, and the tension in his heart eased slightly.

As long as it's not the worst possible outcome, that's fine.

"Yes, they may have already left the city. But back then, the city was full of zombies, and we thought the government would come to rescue us, so we didn't leave. Now we can't get out! The monsters outside are getting more and more terrifying, and we've seen many people who were hiding being found and killed by them!"

Yoko said bitterly, a hint of fear flashing in her eyes at the end.

"Sigh, it seems you guys had foresight, knowing that dragging it out would only make things more dangerous, so you left early!"

After hearing what the couple said, Chang Wei felt a weight lifted from his heart. Looking at them, he asked:

"Auntie, Uncle, we came to collect supplies. Now that the survivors have left, we should go too. It's very dangerous outside. Do you want to stay here, or come with us?"

Chang Wei wasn't heartless; he was grateful and wouldn't mind helping them. Of course, if they insisted on waiting for government aid, he wouldn't force them.

The others looked at Chang Wei in surprise, somewhat astonished that he would offer to take two people with him.

It should be noted that they had previously ignored many people, and Chang Wei had never considered helping them, even the woman just now, whom Chang Wei had turned a blind eye to.

This scene makes everyone feel that Chang Wei is a bit unfamiliar.

Upon hearing this, the Bi couple were overjoyed. Looking at Chang Wei's strength, their business instincts told them that this was their last chance to escape this hell on earth. If they didn't seize it, they would only have death to look forward to.

They nodded repeatedly, their faces beaming with excitement.

Chang Wei wasn't surprised. He nodded, tidied up briefly, and prepared to leave. The Bi couple went back and packed a few things—not much, just a backpack with some food and water.

They survived for several days on the little supplies they had left at home, and now there was almost nothing left. Each of them held a kitchen knife in their hand, and their careful handling of it looked somewhat comical.

Seeing this, Chang Wei couldn't help but find it amusing, and his sadness was somewhat alleviated.

No one lingered upstairs, fearing that delays would complicate matters further. The two girls, though exhausted and nearly collapsing, forced themselves to keep up with the group.

"Alright, Sato, you carry Minami Sato on your back, I'll carry Takagi Saya! Otherwise, they'll both be exhausted!"

Chang Wei suddenly stopped as he was going downstairs and said to Sato behind him. After speaking, he looked at the two girls who were exhausted like pugs and a teasing look flashed across his face.

206 Little Beauty

"Oh dear, how embarrassing!"

Both girls blushed at the same time, feeling so ashamed at Chang Wei's playful expression that they wished they could disappear into the ground.

But they were too exhausted, so they had two men carry them down the slope as fast as they could. For people of Chang Wei and Sato's strength, carrying an extra person was like carrying an extra bottle of water; it made no difference.

Saya Takagi's cheeks flushed slightly as she leaned against Chang Wei's back. His masculine aura was overwhelming, making the youthful-looking, large-breasted Saya Takagi a little infatuated.

An indescribable sense of security arose spontaneously, as if she were by Chang Wei's side, and even if the outside world was in turmoil, she could remain as steady as Mount Tai.

Takagi Saya leaned comfortably against Changwei's back, while Nanri Sho gritted his teeth in jealousy, cursing inwardly:

"Vixen!"

The Hito couple walked alongside Yoko, sandwiched in the crowd.
