Banshan Pavilion is located on a gentle slope at the foot of the mountain. Legend has it that it was built in the early years of this dynasty by Prefect Sun Li, also known as Sun Banshan. It has been rebuilt several times since then and is now considered a less popular cultural attraction on the shore of Yunhu Lake. However, many people who come for morning exercise stop here to rest.

At this moment, a flat slope about 100 meters away from the Half-Mountain Pavilion had been completely fenced off with ropes tied with small flags. There was a collapsed section of the ground, revealing a spacious entrance to the tomb passage. Some people with professional equipment were clearing the accumulated soil from the entrance of the tomb passage.

"Dear viewers, I am now interviewing Professor Li Zichen from the Department of History at Southeast University. Professor Li recently led his team to complete the rescue excavation of Wang Dingbang's tomb, during which many wonderful discoveries were made. This tomb excavation was also led by Professor Li's team, and we are very pleased that Professor Li has agreed to be interviewed."

Not far from the entrance to the tomb passage, Professor Li Zichen, dressed in work clothes, was being interviewed by the media who had just arrived after hearing the news. A pretty female reporter held a microphone bearing the "Southeast News" logo close to the mouth of Professor Li Zichen, who was over fifty and had thinning hair, and asked:

"Professor Li, as everyone knows, you are an authority in archaeology. I see that the excavation has stopped. May I ask why?"

"In this regard, our team has just made some unexpected discoveries, but it is not yet time to make a final judgment. In order to avoid any unforeseen circumstances, we have stopped for now."

"You mean your team has made a very important discovery?" The female reporter was clearly a very shrewd person, and quickly grasped the unspoken meaning in Li Zichen's words.

"We have indeed made some discoveries, but we still need to confirm them further."

"Can you disclose some information first?" the female reporter asked excitedly. "I think everyone will be very much looking forward to it."

Out of scholarly caution, Li Zichen initially seemed reluctant to say much, but he couldn't withstand the female reporter's repeated questioning. At the same time, partly out of consideration for increasing his own profile, he finally relented: "Then I'll just say a few words, but let me state in advance that this is only a preliminary discovery, and we need further investigation to prove it."

"As you can see, the collapse occurred at the entrance to the tomb passage," Li Zichen turned halfway around and pointed to the excavation site behind him. At the same time, the photographer behind the female reporter also turned his camera over.

"This is quite fortunate, meaning that the main structure of the tomb chamber should not have been damaged, and the burial objects inside will be well protected as a result." Li Zichen continued, "What we can confirm at present is that this tomb is of a very high standard and is not an ordinary folk cemetery. In particular, we found an imperial stele at the entrance of the tomb passage."

"An imperial stele?" The female reporter immediately became interested. As a citizen of the empire, she understood the majesty of imperial power better than Zhang Jing had in his previous life, and naturally knew the news value of this place.

"Yes, judging from the inscription, it appears to be written by Emperor Qi Xuanzong himself. If the inscription is authentic, then the person buried here is very likely that person..."

Li Zichen's expression turned solemn, and he slightly cupped his hands towards the direction of the tomb chamber: "Tongyuan Miaoyou Yandao Zhenjun, Tianshi Song Shouxuan."

Upon hearing this, the female reporter's eyes lit up instantly. Celestial Master Song Shouxuan, one of the Four Celestial Masters of the Xuanmen School, was said to be a famous Taoist priest from the Southern Qi Dynasty. This was truly big news!

The Taoist priests of this world are somewhat similar to the Taoist priests of Zhang Jing's previous life. Because the Xuanmen (Taoist sect) has always promoted the idea of self-salvation and ascension to immortality, its practitioners are called Taoist priests.

Being listed as one of the Four Celestial Masters, this Celestial Master Song was naturally no ordinary Taoist priest. His life story is arguably the most fascinating of the four. Legend has it that he received several volumes of celestial books from immortals, and his miraculous deeds are recorded in more than one ancient book. Even the Japanese envoys, upon returning to Japan, praised him in their memorials to the Great Khan, saying that his "magical arts were so profound and unfathomable that they could not be fathomed by ordinary people."

It is said that the reason why Emperor Xuanzong of Qi was so obsessed with Taoism throughout his life, even to the point that his temple name included the character "Xuan," was largely due to this Song Celestial Master. Therefore, some scholars in the historical community denounced him as a "demonic figure who brought disaster to the country," but due to the immense influence of Taoism in this world, this view ultimately did not become mainstream.

Historically, Song Shouxuan was revered as one of the Four Celestial Masters mainly because he created the extraordinary book "Genealogy of the Ten Directions of Immortals of the Supreme Truth," which divided the previously complex and diverse local ancestral worship of gods and immortals into nine ranks, thus unifying them into a single system.

Unlike monotheistic religions like the Western Church of Enlightenment, Eastern Xuanmen and Futu religions are polytheistic and do not acknowledge that there is only one god in the world. However, before Song Shouxuan, the gods worshipped by Xuanmen beliefs in various places were different and chaotic, and different schools often had disagreements and inconsistent doctrines.

After completing his work, *The Genealogy of the Ten Directions of Immortals*, Song Shouxuan traveled extensively, visiting famous mountains and grand scenic spots. Almost single-handedly, he persuaded various sects, ultimately unifying the previously chaotic and disjointed branches of Xuanmen (Taoist) belief into a single system. Therefore, he was highly regarded within Xuanmen and revered as one of the "Four Great Celestial Masters."

Many of the legends about the miraculous powers of Master Song originated during his travels.

According to historical records, this Song Celestial Master did not live long, ascending to immortality through "corpse liberation" at just over 40 years old. This, of course, has become evidence for some to support the claim that he was a fraud.

Regardless, Song Tianshi is shrouded in too many historical controversies and mysteries, so much so that he has been featured as a character in numerous films, television series, and comics in later generations.

"Professor Li, could you please reveal more about this inscription?" the female reporter asked excitedly.

However, no matter how much she pressed for details, Professor Li refused to reveal anything further, only repeatedly emphasizing that the people involved in the tomb were too sensitive and that it involved religious figures.

Therefore, he has already communicated with the government. The next steps will likely be decided by the government's cultural heritage authorities and the religious affairs bureau, before confirming whether and how to conduct further excavation.

This answer disappointed the female reporter somewhat, but she also knew that this was to be expected and that Professor Li was not just making things up. After all, the excavation of the tombs of religious figures recorded in historical books could easily cause mass incidents if not handled carefully, so it had to be done with utmost caution.

Of course, it was absolutely impossible for her to leave at that moment. So, after interviewing Li Zichen, she sent the firsthand information she had just obtained back to headquarters. Then, she and the photographer and other team members found a place to sit down and wait to see if there would be any further information.

Just then, Zhang Jing silently appeared on the top of a tree more than 50 meters away from the excavation site, carefully observing the excavation site not far away.

Soon, he noticed a camera set up outside the site, tied to a tree nearby, with the lens pointed towards the entrance of the tomb. It seemed to be used for taking photos for record-keeping. Zhang Jing landed on the ground, picked up a small stone, and tossed it casually.

The pebble hit the camera precisely, causing it to tilt 90 degrees and turn in another direction. This minor change went unnoticed by anyone.

After observing further and finding no cameras pointed at the site, Zhang Jing lightly leaped over the surrounding cordon and entered the excavation area.
