"No, I can..."

The bear patted his chest, making it clear that he wanted to help Giger bear the physical pain.

However, Giger still refused. He stopped Xiong from doing so because he didn't want Xiong to do it, and at that moment his mind was a mess, and he couldn't quite describe the pain.

In his mind, fragmented memories kept appearing, like a revolving lantern; he wanted to stop and watch them carefully, but he couldn't stop them no matter what he did.

It all started after Garin said the words "Figarando" to him before he left.

Giger saw his body placed on a cold experimental table, with a man dressed as a Celestial Dragon staring at him greedily.

In an instant, anger, fear, confusion, and a host of other negative emotions overwhelmed him, and Giger felt a splitting headache.

"Crack!"

Silver arcs of electricity shot out from Giger's body, tracing down his arm and giving Ivan a scorching shock.

Kuma was also startled by Gigg. He hurriedly pulled Ginny away, who was already stunned, and also lifted up Ivan, whose eyes were rolling back in his head from the electric shock. He then used the power of the Paw-Paw Fruit to dodge away.

Just then, Giger suddenly raised his head, his originally dark pupils turning blood red, and a tidal wave of darkness spread out from beneath his feet.

His eyes were vacant, and his voice was as cold as if it came from hell.

"We must kill him! Avenge him!!!"

Darkness spread to the bear's feet, transforming into a gigantic black maw that was about to devour the bear when, just then, Gigg's body went limp and he collapsed to the ground.

The dark maw froze abruptly, then vanished back into the darkness, returning to Gigg's body.

Xiong swallowed hard and wiped the cold sweat from his brow.

He had tried to use his Devil Fruit ability to dodge, but for some reason, as darkness approached him, he felt his connection with his ability become extremely sluggish and difficult to activate.

If Giger hadn't suddenly fainted, he, along with Ivan and Ginny, would probably have been completely swallowed by the darkness.

After putting Ginny and Ivan down, the bear slowly approached Gig, who was lying on the ground, and found that Gig had completely fainted.

He picked up Giger, and Ginny dragged Ivan, who was lying on the ground, as they walked together into the church.

into the night,

In a daze, Giger struggled to open his eyes and found himself lying on a soft, large bed. He slowly got up.

Another wave of dizziness washed over him, and a voice filled with hatred echoed in Giger's mind.

"You are me, and I am you. Avenge me!"

Giger, however, didn't find anything strange. His expression remained calm as he murmured to himself,

"I understand. We are one and the same. I will definitely take my revenge!"

After saying that, Giger felt a lightness in his body, as if something had completely vanished from his mind.

He felt a clarity he had never experienced before, his perception became extremely sharp, and the layout of the entire church appeared clearly in his mind.

Including the scents of the bear and Ginny inside the church, and the things around me...

"Where did the mummy come from?"

Looking at the large-headed mummy wrapped up like a dumpling beside him, Giggs's face showed surprise.

The mummy shook its head twice, making a muffled sound.

"It's me, Giger. It's Ivan, the Ivan who almost got electrocuted by you, hee...ha..."

"Ah this..."

Only then did Giger remember the electric shock he had experienced earlier. He slapped his forehead, turned around, helped Ivan up, and said apologetically,

"Sorry, Ivan, my mind was a complete mess at the time, and I didn't know what I was doing."

"No, it's nothing. I even escaped from a place like God Valley, what's a little injury? Hehe!"

Ivan seemed to be in a good mood and didn't seem to care about being electrocuted.

But Giger still felt a little guilty. He jumped off the bed, gently lifted Ivan up, and carried him on his back.

Ivan stared in shock. He knew Giger's physique well; while he wasn't exactly frail, he wasn't much better off than Ginny, who was a girl.

But now, Giger was lifting Ivan, who was much heavier than him, with ease and carrying him on his back as if nothing was wrong. Ivan felt like he had seen a ghost.

Giger noticed this too, but he didn't say anything and carried Ivan like a gust of wind into the living room.

Bear, wearing an apron, was carrying a steaming bowl of fish soup out of the kitchen. Ginny, holding a knife in one hand and a fork in the other, was sitting at the table, deep in thought.

When Ginny saw Giger appear carrying Ivan, she was stunned. The bear's hands trembled, and the fish soup was about to fall to the ground.

hum!

A force of gravity appeared, and the bowl was held in Giger's hand. He chuckled softly.

"Bear, your cooking is pretty good. This fish soup smells delicious."

Chapter 12 Giger's Past

Xiong snapped out of his daze and quickly stepped forward to take Ivan off Gig, then found a chair for Ivan to sit down.

The four sat around a table, enjoying the fish that Xiong had prepared. This fish was their only dish for the evening, but thankfully it was quite large.

Jig ate with great relish; this was the first time he had eaten a hot meal since he transmigrated.

While in God Valley, they didn't have the energy to catch fish, let alone start a fire to cook. They could only pick some wild fruits to eat.

However, the three of them didn't touch their chopsticks for a long time, just watching as Jig ate the fish meat with gusto.

After drinking a large bowl of thick fish soup, Jig smacked his lips, looked up at the three of them, and exclaimed in admiration,

"Why aren't you eating? It tastes really good!"

The bear asked tentatively,

"Brother Giger, do you remember what happened during the day? You were electrified; was that also your Devil Fruit ability?"

Ginny nodded vigorously, gesturing with her hands.

"Yes, yes, even their eyes have turned red! How scary!"

Ivan didn't speak. He stared with his big, round eyes full of curiosity, clearly wanting to know what had happened to Gig.

Giger didn't intend to hide anything from the three of them, and said in a low voice,

"That's because I remembered something. You probably heard what that person said to me when we were about to leave."

At that moment, besides Jig, the only ones who were truly conscious were the bear and the others. The bear spoke up.

"I remember that person said your surname was Figarando. Is there any significance to that surname?"

"Of course, it's this surname that reminds me of many things..."

At this point, Giger paused suddenly, looked directly into the bear's eyes, and slowly began to speak.

"Bear, if I were a Celestial Dragon, would you hate me?"

"What?!" x2

Upon hearing this, Ginny and Ivan jumped up from their chairs, staring at Giger in disbelief.

Compared to the reactions of the two, Xiong appeared much calmer. He lowered his head and remained silent, and no one knew what he was thinking.

Giger didn't say anything, just quietly watched the bear.

The church hall was eerily quiet. Ginny finally couldn't hold back any longer; she forced a smile and chuckled awkwardly.

"Wait, are you kidding, Brother Giger? How could you be a Celestial Dragon? We just escaped from God Valley together!"

Ginny didn't want to accept this reality, but looking at Giger's serious expression, she knew that it was probably true.

Giger looked at Ginny and said softly,

"How could I joke about something like this? I am indeed a Celestial Dragon. Otherwise, why would the dignified captain of the Knights of God, Garin, rescue a slave from Charlotte Linlin?"

"This Garin is yours...?"

"He's my uncle."

Tears welled up in Ginny's eyes. She ran to Giger and grabbed his hands tightly, as if she were afraid of losing him.

She murmured to herself, as if deceiving herself.

"No, that's just a coincidence. Yes, if that were the case, why would they allow you to end up in the Valley of the Gods?"

Giger raised his hand and gently stroked a pink ahoge (a single strand of hair sticking up) on Ginny's head, recounting his past experiences in an extremely calm tone.

He has now merged with the original body's remaining soul, including the original body's memories, and he has essentially experienced all those pains once again.

He was born in Mary Geoise, the Holy Land, to Figarando Gurando, the eldest son of the Figarando family.

Grando's younger brother is Garin, who has become the captain of the Knights of God. The Knights of God are the trump card force protecting the Celestial Dragons, and the captain of each generation is inherited by a member of the Figarand family.

Of course, such an important position would not be assigned to any one family. The reason why it was always held by a member of the Figarando family was because the Figarando family members were not only a minority of "sane" members, but more importantly, they were extremely talented.

Their talents are not being compared to those weak Celestial Dragons, but to the top-tier powerhouses outside.

This can be seen from Garin. His performance in God Valley was absolutely outstanding. He fought Charlotte Linlin, Newgate and finally Rocks, and showed no signs of weakness.

This generation of the Figarando family produced two brothers, Garin and Grando.
