"Is this Lord Gig Saint's power? It's terrifying!"

Even after Giger reached out and pulled the trembling Spandane to his feet, Spandane's face still showed a look of utter shock.

He calmed down and asked,

"Lord Giggs, regarding the trip to Mary Geoise..."

"Since it's Uncle Garin who wants to see me, I'll go back now. You can leave now and wait for me at the port early tomorrow morning."

"Yes!"

Spandam bowed respectfully at a ninety-degree angle, then slowly retreated until he disappeared into the shadows.

After he left, Giger stood there in silence for a while. He slowly raised his right hand, which was shrouded in rising black energy, and said in a deep voice,

"What's coming will come sooner or later, and I'm not someone he can easily manipulate now..."

After he finished speaking, a dark vortex appeared behind Giger, and then his body gradually twisted and finally disappeared completely along with the dark vortex.

In a dark corner in front of the dormitory building,

The dark vortex reappeared, sending Gigg out. He first looked around to confirm he was near the dormitory building, then nodded slightly and said...

"The location for short-range teleportation is quite accurate; hopefully, long-range teleportation will be just as stable..."

Early the next morning,

Giger first briefly told his close friends and family that he had to leave for a while, without specifying what he was going to do. He only said that he would be back soon.

Ginny followed Giger all the way to the naval academy gate. The soldiers on guard only let Giger out, and he smiled and promised Ginny...

"I'll be gone for no more than a week this time, so don't be so nervous. I'll bring you a gift when I come back."

Ginny nodded obediently and said softly,

"Brother Jige, I'm waiting for you to come back."

After patting Ginny's head through the iron bars, Giger leaped into the air and used Moonwalk to run towards the port.

Ginny watched from below until Giger's figure completely disappeared from sight, a worried look on her face.

When Giger said he was going out in the morning, she noticed that Kizaru's expression was a little strange. So, taking advantage of Giger's absence, she pulled Kizaru aside, and under her persistent questioning, Kizaru finally confessed.

"I don't know the specifics either. I only know that Zig was probably summoned by the World Government."

Upon hearing this news, Ginny was stunned. She knew a little about Giger's background, so she was well aware of the danger Giger was facing on this trip.

Despite knowing this, Ginny felt a deep sense of powerlessness when faced with the behemoth that is the World Government.

Ginny really wanted to go with Giger, but she knew she was still too weak and would only be a burden to Giger if something went wrong.

All she could do now was pretend to know nothing, at least so as not to upset Giger.

As she stared blankly at the sky, a deep voice rang out.

“Ginny, don’t worry. If we don’t hear from Brother Giger, I will go directly to Mary Geoise.”

Ginny was startled and turned to the side to find that Xiong was standing not far from her, silently watching her.

"Bear cub, you..."

"I heard Borsalino's words too."

The bear raised its hand, looked at the ball of flesh in its palm, and said softly.

"This ability was given to me by Brother Giger, and now it's time for it to come in handy."

......

After meeting Spandam at the port, Giger boarded the ship prepared by the World Government and sailed to the Holy Land of Mary Geoise.

Marineford is very close to Mary Geoise. In less than a morning, Gigg, standing on the deck, could already see the Red Line. At the very top of the Red Line was his destination, the Holy Land Mary Geoise.

After a while, Spandam bowed and walked up to Giger, speaking respectfully.

"Lord Giger, we have arrived at the Red Earth. Please disembark with me."

Giger nodded, and Spandam immediately beckoned a group of men in suits to escort Giger off the ship to an elevator at the bottom of the Red Line.

The elevator carried Giger and the others through the clouds until it stopped at the highest point.

A squad of guards clad in golden armor had been waiting there for some time. As soon as the elevator doors opened, upon seeing Gigg surrounded in the center, they immediately knelt on one knee and shouted,

"Welcome, Lord Jigsel!"

The scene completely stunned Spandam. He had been to Mary Geoise many times, but he had never seen such a high level of hospitality.

Especially the guards in front of him, dressed in golden armor, were clearly not on the same level as the men in suits behind him.

He had no doubt that any one of those guards could easily kill the people he had brought.

Swallowing hard, Spandam felt he had seen something amazing today. If it weren't for Giger, he probably would never have seen these golden guards in his entire life!

Chapter 42 Lucia

Giger remained expressionless; given his status, these were simply expected.

The golden guard kneeling at the head of the table slowly rose. Judging from the style of her armor, she was a woman, and the only woman among all the guards.

She slowly approached Gig, raised her hand and removed the heavy golden helmet from her head, revealing her long, flowing black hair. She looked at Gig and spoke softly.

“Lord Giger Saint, I am Lucia, the captain of the third squad of the Figarando family guard. Do you remember me?”

Giger paused for a moment, then began searching his memory for what he had seen before, while scrutinizing the woman in front of him named Lucia.

She didn't look very old, and the heavy armor couldn't hide her exquisite curves. The skin above her neck was as smooth as white jade, and her delicate face had a pair of large amber eyes.

However, upon closer inspection, there is a small scar below her left eye, and it is this scar that reminded Giger of things about her.

That was before Gigg was experimented on by Grandora.

Before he was six years old, he lived a life of luxury in the palace like other Celestial Dragons, while Lucia was a slave that Karin bought at an auction during a trip to the Sabaody Archipelago.

Garin didn't have any particular fetishes. He took a liking to Lucia because the host introduced her as a princess.

Lucia's original country was a non-member state, and because it was too weak, it was destroyed by a group of pirates.

Except for Lucia, almost all the members of the royal family were killed by pirates. After she was discovered by the pirates while hiding under the bed, she and some treasures were sold to an auction house by the pirates.

Born into royalty, she stood out among the group of slave children. Garin took a liking to her at first sight, bought her, and gave her to Gige as a fourth birthday present.

The Figarand family's family traditions are much better than those of other Celestial Dragons, and Gigg was only four years old at the time. What bad intentions could a four-year-old child have?

Lucia was initially terrified of the boy who was three years younger than her, because she had heard from her parents since she was a child about the cruelty of the Celestial Dragons, who said that even so-called kings were just ants that could be crushed at will.

However, Giger never treated her as a slave. Having been imprisoned deep within the tribe's territory by Gulando since birth, he cherished the child who was about his age.

He would have Lucia sit next to him while he ate, and he would often clamor for Lucia to play childish games that he had heard about from the nanny.

Giger remembers playing house with Lucia back then, and since there were only two of them, they simply pretended to be a couple.

At first, Giger often called Lucia "sister," but Lucia was more mature than Giger and knew that she couldn't let Giger call her that.

If word gets out, no matter how good their relationship is, someone will make her, this lowly slave, disappear from Giger's side forever.

The two spent two peaceful years together. Lucia not only did not suffer the inhuman torment she had imagined, but under Giger's influence, she gradually opened her closed heart.

She even thought that it wouldn't be bad to stay by Gig's side as a slave for the rest of her life.

But things didn't go as she wished. One day when Gig was six years old, Gulando suddenly brought a guy with a huge head and a strange appearance to Gig.

Giger was listening to Lucia read to him when he saw Grando. Before he could even call out "Father," Grando grabbed him by the waist and took him away, looking completely bewildered.

For a long time after that, Lucia did not see Gig, and she was suddenly overwhelmed by fear after losing Gig.

She then realized that the vast Figalandou family was a prison for her, and she had become that little girl again, whose country had been destroyed and whose family had perished.

Giger had always been the light that illuminated her, but now that light was gone.

In her dazed state, her only hope each day was to suddenly see Jig return, and then she would hold him tightly in her arms and pour out her fears and longing to him.

But she waited day after day, and Gigg still did not return. In fact, even news of Gigg seemed to have become a taboo within the Figarando family.

However, she did not give up until one day, two strangers in white coats passed by her while she was sweeping the yard.

The two men were dressed the same as the strange man who had stood next to Grando. Lucia immediately moved closer to them without making a sound and vaguely heard them talking about something.

"Sigh, it's only been one gene injection and it's already turned into this. I really don't know how much longer that child can last."

"That's already a miracle, okay? And that child is a Celestial Dragon! I really don't understand how this happened!"

"Stop talking. This is not our business. We are just two assistants. We just need to do as Dr. Vegapunk says."

"Snapped!"

Lucia dropped the broom from her hand. She ran forward with all her might, stood in front of the two of them, and asked in a trembling voice,

"Are you... talking about Lord Jigsang?"

Both of their expressions changed. One of them glared at Lucia fiercely, then pulled the other away quickly.

Lucia stood there blankly until the head waitress came running over to urge her to come back to her senses.

She suppressed her fear and continued working despite the lady-in-waiting's scolding. When it was time to finish work in the evening, she did not return to her quarters with the other servants, but made up an excuse and ran away on her own.

Normally, her activity area was limited to the place where Giger used to live. She followed the direction the two men had come from during the day until a pure white building came into view.
