The Auror dared not meet his gaze, as if feeling guilty, and slowly turned his head away.

Another Auror coughed lightly, "Headmaster Dumbledore, shall we head over there..."

“Of course.” Dumbledore nodded gently.

The two Aurors took two steps forward, glanced back at Dumbledore, and disappeared into the vortex with two sighs.

……

The Dementors hovered in the distance, like a black curtain that completely enveloped the sky, preventing any light from penetrating.

Dumbledore frowned, already holding his wand in his hand.

After an unknown amount of time, the Hogwarts Express was traveling in the distance when the Dementors hovering in the air became restless. One group of Dementors plummeted down at high speed, eagerly crashing into the Hogwarts Express.

Dumbledore's brow furrowed even more, and he narrowed his eyes slightly as he watched the Dementors file into the Hogwarts Express as if in a queue.

Before long, the Hogwarts Express, which had been shrouded in darkness, burst forth with a bright silver light, almost enveloping the train.

The Dementors who had launched the search fled in panic, moving far away from the Hogwarts Express.

Seeing this, Dumbledore breathed a sigh of relief and disappeared into the vortex.

Not long after, he returned from the vortex and turned his gaze to the sky.

The hovering Dementors became even more agitated, like sharks in the sea that had smelled blood, and they all lunged at the train below.

The already gloomy sky was now covered with patches of white spots, as if frost was falling.

Two beams of silver light shot into the sky as the Aurors commanded their physical guardians to try and drive away the restless Dementors.

The Dementors, however, remained completely unmoved and continued their charge toward the Hogwarts Express, as if provoked by something.

"As expected...it was timely enough..." Dumbledore murmured, raising his wand in an arc, "Whoosh..."

Before he could chant the incantation, the silver light inside the carriage suddenly went out and then quickly came back on.

Three physical guardians flew out: a golden eagle, a horned owl, and an irregular ball of light, all facing the menacing Dementor head-on.

The golden eagle guardian flew at the forefront and quickly dispersed a large group of Dementors;

One of the Dementors was unable to dodge in time and was impaled by the golden eagle. Its body instantly slumped down and fell to the ground like a tattered rag.

As the Dementors scattered and fled, the frost turned back into raindrops, and the Hogwarts Express resumed its journey, Dumbledore finally let out a long breath, his figure transforming into a vortex and disappearing into the rain.

-------------------------------------

As Vizette and Luna cast their Guardian Charm, the noise in the corridor suddenly subsided, as if frozen by a sudden chill.

“The Dementors must have come in…” Thanks to the Night Vision Charm, Vizet was able to sense the movement in the corridor.

Accompanied by strange friction sounds and "clucking" breathing sounds, the sliding door in front of me was slowly pulled open.

Clinging to the edge of the sliding door is a grayish-white hand, covered in spots and slime, as if it is undergoing decay.

The sliding door was slowly pushed open, and a Dementor wearing a cloak peered in. Only by getting so close could one realize how large the Dementor was.

It had to bend over to reach into the carriage. Its face was covered with scabbed, grayish-white skin. It had no nose, no eyeballs in its eye sockets, and a broken, gaping hole where its mouth should be.

The moment the Dementor peeked out, the silver light emanating from the Guardian of the Body arrived right in front of it.

As if it had spotted a natural enemy, it emitted a series of "clucking" sounds and then quickly retreated.

"More effective than I imagined?" Vizette flicked her wand lightly, and the golden eagle guardian hovered in mid-air, flapping its wings in the trajectory of the wand.

In an instant, the silver light that had filled one carriage spread to every corner of the Hogwarts Express.

The Dementors, who were inspecting the other carriages, realized they were surrounded by a silver light.

Like the Dementor from the beginning, they made a series of "clucking" sounds as they fled the carriages and scurried along the aisle to the outside of the train.

……

"It's over?" Michael's tone was incredulous. He looked at the warm silver light around him and reached out to touch it. "The Guardian Charm is that powerful?"

“To unleash it… isn’t an easy thing.” Anthony shook his head. “Usually, you need talent…”

“Hiss…but look at the window…” Chris said, “Why is it starting to freeze?”

"Frozen?" Anthony and the others looked at the window, which had turned into a white expanse, clearly frozen solid.

Vizette snapped his fingers, and a fiery red light appeared outside the window.

The ice clinging to the window melted quickly, and he waved upwards, opening the window immediately.

Outside the window, Dementors hovered in the air, making a series of "clucking" sounds. The dense cacophony of sounds made one's scalp tingle.

“So many… Dementors!” Anthony stammered. “The Ministry of Magic has really gone mad! The Dementors have gone mad too!”

"Everyone move away from the entrance! Everyone move to the back of the train!" Remus Lupin's voice rang out in a low voice.

"Everyone back off! Everyone move to the back of the train!" Remus Lupin said in a low voice. "I am the new...Hogwarts professor!"

"Close all the windows! Dementors have physical form! To get into the carriage, you have to go in through the door! Leave your carriages! Move towards the light!"

Chapter 141 The Guardian's Curse That Wasn't Subdued Enough

“This Professor Lupin… seems much more reliable than the previous professors!” Ron’s face flashed with joy upon hearing Remus Lupin’s calm voice.

"Hmm..." Hermione stood beside Ron, responding absentmindedly, and looked back with some concern. "What happened to Harry... why did he faint?"

"I don't know, maybe she didn't sleep well? After all, she heard something so dangerous..." Ron raised his arm and stood in front of Hermione to support Ginny as she fell backward. "Ginny, are you alright!"

Hermione and Ron were both standing in the corner of the carriage, and behind them was Harry, who was still unconscious.

Harry's brows were furrowed with resentment and pain. His face was covered in cold sweat, and his bangs, which covered his scars, were stuck to his forehead by the sweat.

"I'm fine!" Ginny nodded gently, finally regaining her balance. She turned around with some difficulty and glanced back. "How's Harry?"

"He's just unconscious, he should be alright, right?" Ron's tone was somewhat uncertain, and he added, "At least Professor Lupin said he's fine."

Lupin's words did indeed have a calming effect, and the students on the Hogwarts Express, guided by his words, kept pushing towards the last part of the train.

His expression was serious, and his already pale face was almost devoid of color. "Yes! You can get into this carriage; there are still seats!"

In stark contrast to his pale face were his bright, piercing eyes, which carried a sense of unhurried composure.

Perhaps it was the oppressive presence of the Dementors that made the students feel a sense of crisis and panic, making them willing to obey his commands.

When allocating seats, he doesn't need to explain much or even repeat himself a third time; the students are willing to cooperate and enter the corresponding carriages with available seats.

As Lu Ping directed the students' movements, he pushed his way forward, his eyes constantly scanning the surroundings, sensing the pervasive silver light.

Even Dumbledore's Patronus...

I didn't give him that feeling either...

This is an extremely pure and beautiful thing...

It even gave him the illusion that this kind of beauty didn't belong to this world...

……

Lupin felt a sense of languor, as if he were sitting by a warm fireplace, surrounded by a group of family and friends...

wrong!

I'm on the Hogwarts Express!

The Dementors are coming! And there are students who need guidance!

Fortunately, the students who appeared in front of him brought him back to his senses.

Two of the students looked tall and thin, with very similar facial features, suggesting they were twins. They also had familiar red hair and freckles.

When Lupin saw the redheads, a smile appeared on his lips. There was no need to guess the identities of these twins; they were undoubtedly Ron's brothers, who were in the same carriage as him, and both were members of the Weasley family.

Another student, who looked much younger, was holding an instant camera and, guided by the Weasley twins, took several pictures of the scene inside the carriage.

"Weasley! Weasley!" Lupin shouted hurriedly, "There should still be seats in the front carriages, hurry up and get inside!"

"Oh! The new professor is here, let's run!" The twins waved to Lupin with grins, then led the students with Polaroid cameras and disappeared into the crowd.

"They're really fast!" Lu Ping found it somewhat amusing and decided to look for the twins after he finished his current tasks.

After he had settled the students in front of him, there was only a small group of people left in the aisle.

Inside the carriages on both sides of the aisle were slightly frightened faces. It was clearly thanks to this small group of people that they were allowed into the carriages.

Lupin looked at several of the students, who were wearing badges on their chests, including badges for prefects and badges for student council presidents.

Besides the prefect and the student council president, Wizette, Luna, the Weasley twins from before, the student with the Polaroid camera, and six or seven other people were all gathered together.

Lupin noticed a somewhat familiar figure: he had neatly styled light blond hair and was talking to Vizette.

Could it be Lucius Malfoy's child?

A doubt arose in Lupin's mind. Now was not the time to think about this, so he quickly stepped forward, intending to say something.

Vizette spoke first: "Professor Lupin, what exactly happened? Why did those Dementors go out of control?"

"Wait a moment..." Lu Ping closed his eyes and sensed the time it would take to breathe.

He could clearly feel that the strange, wonderful feeling had disappeared.

Now, the feeling that the Golden Eagle Guardian brings him has become warmth and a sense of security.
