Davidian's Holy Grail War

"Don't be too harsh on Lady Meliuchina~ After all, all the fairies of the Mirror Clan can see the future, so from the moment they are born, it's no different from being dead."
Knowing exactly when we will die, and not understanding which version of ourselves we are now, we won't feel sadness or curse; it's just that death is quite painful.
At this point, Mira suddenly felt a pang of sadness, and she couldn't help but say:
"Well, it's a bit unfair to say that to Ainsel. After all, she's the clan leader, so she's always worried about our future—there's still a chance we can be saved, and I have to find a way to protect everyone."
She was so fixated on these things that she kept apologizing to us until her dying breath.
When Mira said that, Davidan recalled Einser's bachelor-like appearance before... Well, he was really scared by her back then.
Actually, she wanted to save the lives of her entire clan, but she acted as if she was not afraid of death when faced with her own threat. Looking back now, perhaps we should praise her for her excellent acting skills.
"Actually, it should have been Ainsel who became the Fairy Lord, but it would be too much trouble for him to keep apologizing to us after he died~ So we'll take on the task of being messengers!"
She said something quite important, and David couldn't help but smile wryly, saying, "Honestly, aren't you afraid I'll chop you in half with my sword if you tell me this? Isn't this message meant for the Child of Prophecy?"
"Absolutely not, Lord David is a good man."
Both Chief Einser and the other Mirror Clan thought so, but the Fairy Kingdom was simply too heavy a burden for you.
The blame has been unfairly placed on you; you are such a tormented yet beautiful person.
Davidian was truly embarrassed by being described that way. After lamenting, he said:
"Since that's the case, I'll say no more, Mira, the fairy lord of the dead who conveys messages through death. You have earned my respect, and as the lord of Camelot, I take my leave now."
Hopefully, in the end, everyone can get the ending they deserve.
Although it was strange for the fairy lord to bow, Mira still bowed to David and said:
"You too. Great Lord Camelot, these two thousand years of waiting must have been quite painful for you. May you find release in your final moments."
"You too." David left these words and then opened the dark space to return to Camelot. Who knew when he would be able to come back to Orkney again?
Hopefully, Ainslie's choice was the right one, and hopefully the final outcome will be solemn and dignified.
However, when David returned to Camelot Hall and saw the scene before him, he couldn't help but widen his eyes again.
What's going on? Why is Melyuchina kneeling in this hall? I haven't even reported the events of the Mirror Clan to Morgan yet. What's happening? What on earth happened?
“You’ve come back just in time… David, tell me about the Mirror Clan. I need to make a fair judgment as well.”
Morgan saw that David had returned, so she asked him to recount what had happened. She now felt that the way things had unfolded was so ridiculous that she was speechless.
David had no choice but to recount the entire story of the Mirror Clan, and Morgan shook his head helplessly after hearing it.
She probably knows what happened. Aurora is really a Muggle. To do something like this shows she's completely brainless. If it weren't for the fact that Melyuchina exists, she should have killed her.
"Then, heed my judgment. The dragon fairy Meryuchina bestows upon you the name of fairy knight Lancelot. This may be a weakening for you, but it will stabilize your spirit origin."
But once your resolve wavers again, even the magic's blessing will no longer be able to maintain your physical form.
Morgan practically saved Melyuchina from the brink of collapse, and with Morgan's magic, Melyuchina's form regained stability.
Weapons and azure armor also appeared on her body. Although it was indeed a weakening, it was still better than turning back into a lump of minced meat right here.
"Your Majesty's kindness is beyond repayment!" Mei Liuqina wiped away her tears, she never expected to receive such treatment.
She went to slaughter the Mirror Clan for her sake, but after returning and hearing Aurora's words, she understood Aurora's true nature.
This is what happens when you marry the wrong person; she knows she can't leave Aurora. Even if it means serving His Majesty for temporary stability, she has to do it. She can't just collapse like this.
She had to do this for the sake of her love.
"It's alright, as long as you don't become a calamity for this fairy kingdom. But... betrayal is not allowed, otherwise I will tear you and everyone you love to pieces, do you understand?"
Morgan didn't mind giving such a blessing, as it would prevent Melyuchina from causing even greater trouble.
However, a warning before leaving is still necessary, at least for Aurora's sake. Melyuchina should behave herself then... even though she's usually quite lazy.
"Step down and just focus on fulfilling your duties. I will not pursue the rest further, after all, what is gone will never come back."
Morgan dismissed them, and Melyuchina left immediately. Davidian remained silent throughout, the whole affair entirely driven by Morgan's will.
After she left, David Ann sat back down on the steps in silence. He said softly, "The end is coming soon. Is this really alright?"
"Do you remember what I said at the beginning?" Morgan suddenly asked.
David understood what she meant, and he repeated Morgan's initial statement: "If that is truly my final fate, I will resist. But if I fail, I will gladly go!"
In David's eyes, that was fucking awesome; that's what a fearless warrior should say.
Compared to him, Davidian seemed a bit timid, but he didn't feel sad at all.
After all, he has always been like this, never thinking of himself as special, and always having the mindset of an ordinary person.
"I understand. I will witness our final fate."
Chapter 309 After you sing, I will appear on stage
Not long after Melyuchina was chosen as a fairy knight and the news was announced throughout the fairy kingdom, Morgan announced the start of this year's Camelot Tournament.
This also gives fairies who are not of noble birth a chance to show themselves. If they perform well and win the crown, they will be qualified to join the Queen's army.
Humans were incorporated into the human army, and fairies joined the Fairy Knights.
If you have the ability, then this competition is the best stage.
David Ann and Morgan both enjoy this competition and are eager to see who will stand out this year.
But when the man reached the center of the arena, Davidian froze. He murmured the name—Percival.
Could it be that there really are people who look so alike? Could it be that fate can repeat itself?
"Sharing a name with one of your subordinates from Pan-Human History, does that remind you of anything?" Morgan teased him from the side, finding the whole thing quite amusing.
And that gun in the little guy's hand, so that's why... He's the imposter of the prophetic child raised by Aurora.
David glanced at her, then corrected her, "Not a subordinate, a friend, my most important friend."
His words only elicited a casual smile from Morgan, and then the competition began right before their eyes.
However, this was far from a true contest; Percival fully demonstrated the martial prowess of a powerful knight. After a fight that could hardly be described as fierce, he had his opponent knocked to the ground.
What followed was a series of battles, but Percival emerged victorious in every single one. Davidian was also very impressed with him; despite having taken a short rest, he showed no signs of fatigue even after fighting all day.
At the final battle, Morgan stood up and said to Percival below, "I have witnessed your bravery. Join the Queen's army now, Percival, the White Light."
Percival sheathed the chosen spear, bowed to Morgan above the platform, and then his words surprised everyone present.
"I reject."
These calm words immediately changed the expressions of many people. What did this young man mean? The Queen herself had extended such an invitation to him, and he dared to refuse? Wouldn't such a slap in Morgan's face earn him an immediate and swift execution by the lord?
But many fairies felt a twisted sense of pleasure; the Queen's majesty was nothing more than that. It was truly laughable that a mere human could so openly refuse the Queen's invitation.
But even more surprisingly, after David stood up, he simply said:
“Since you say so, then you must have your reasons. Percival, the Queen is magnanimous and has forgiven you for this disrespect. But if such a thing happens again, you will be executed.”
Percival bowed to the two men in a knightly salute, then straightened up and said loudly:
"What I fight for is love. Yet love is nowhere to be seen in the Queen's army now, great lord, noble queen."
Please forgive the unworthy knight Percival's arrogant words; the next time we meet, we will only be enemies.
He dared to make such a public declaration, but neither Morgan nor Davidian seemed angry. On the contrary, they both seemed unconcerned about Percival's actions.
Percival, having made this declaration, simply left, while Davidian merely shook his head. "So, we'll be enemies next time we meet? How dare you say that."
However, not long after the tournament, Davidian heard that Percival had rebuilt the Round Table Army at Londinium, the site of the Round Table Army that had been destroyed in the Fairy Era, and was carrying out anti-Queen activities.
David smiled at this, a hint of helplessness in his expression. Typical paladin, fighting for power and money is definitely not his style.
The year 2017 in the Queen's calendar arrived. As David and Morgan entered the hall as usual to receive reports from fairy officials and ambassadors, a man suddenly lay down in the hall.
Dressed in black, with pointed, elfin ears and glasses, Morgan raised an eyebrow before saying, "Has he arrived, Belial Gat?"
The man on the ground stood up upon hearing Morgan's shout, clearly bewildered. He'd only been asleep, and now he was in such a magnificent palace?
It was only one night, so what exactly happened?
"I'll explain in detail later. You can go to the side for now; I have a task for you to complete later."
Morgan waved for him to step aside, since it wasn't the time for him to speak freely during the morning meeting.
Belial raised an eyebrow, but he showed no anger. Instead, after a crisp whistle, he gave Morgan an exaggerated bow and then instinctively stepped aside.
Since Morgan has already said he'll explain everything to him, why should he rush things? Besides, the situation is much more interesting now than before; he might get even more fun here than before.
Davidian, however, was quite wary of this man. He felt that this guy was like a hyena running around on the African savanna in search of prey. He had to keep an eye on this fellow, lest he stab Morgan in the back.
After the morning meeting ended, Morgan began to explain the whole story to Baillie in the hall.
After understanding the situation, Morgan, the Arbiter class he summoned, used Spirit Transfer to decompose herself into information and gave it to herself in the Lostbelt. After that, she changed history, causing the Fairy Kingdom to become what it is today.
"I will treat you as an honored guest, after all, none of this would be possible without you. But please do not cause trouble in this fairy kingdom."
"Belial Gat, man who inherited the blood of fairies, if you go too far, then even I will not tolerate you."
Morgan gave him preferential treatment while also warning him, and Belial adjusted his glasses to indicate that he understood.
He then asked how he should explain things to the other hidden beings. After all, the Fairy Kingdom was now covered by the Wall of Light, which would definitely arouse Wodim's suspicion.
"Why do I need to guide you? You already have the answer in your heart. Dealing with other hidden companions is no small matter for you."
