Her face was expressionless, but her eyes, hidden beneath her pale white hair, were wide open, as if she had seen something she couldn't believe.
Ke Xiaomo didn't take it seriously, thinking it was just children playing around.
Following closely behind, it was Bai Ziling's turn to put on the helmet. Her experience ended quickly, and as she removed the helmet, an image appeared on the giant screen in the theater.
The image that Bai Ziling imagined was a young dragon crouching like a cat, its head raised in the moonlight, quietly staring at the night sky from the shadows.
"What an adorable baby dragon!" Bai Zini clapped her hands, not forgetting to tease Ke Yongzhu, "Look how imaginative your Ling-jie is, much better than some elementary school student who only thinks about bikinis and angels."
"dragon?"
Ke Mingye was taken aback again and ordered the puppet to look at Ke Yongzhu out of the corner of its eye.
Ke Yongzhu stared blankly at the baby dragon on the screen. He pursed his lips, scratched his nose, and his face turned even redder for some reason. He didn't even dare to look at Bai Ziling again.
Looking at his younger brother and sister's reactions, Ke Mingye became completely certain of one thing: Bai Ziling must have seen Ke Yongzhu in her dragon form, and Ke Yongzhu must know that Bai Ziling is a vampire, otherwise how could it be such a coincidence?
Apart from Ke Yongzhu, everyone else reacted quite calmly.
Only Ke Xiaomo's pupils contracted at that moment as she stared intently at the scene on the screen, as if she had seen something bizarre, muttering to herself in a hoarse voice.
"Isn't this... the juvenile form of the Calamity Dragon?"

Chapter 46 Imagining Time (Part Two)
Ke Yin glanced sideways at Ke Xiaomo's profile and muttered, "Kids really have imaginations, don't they?"
After Bai Ziling's imagined scenes were shown, it was finally Ke Mingye's turn to put on the helmet, and everyone in the theater turned their attention to him.
"Are you coming?"
Ke Mingye murmured softly in the restroom, giving a mental command to have the trickster doll put the helmet on its head, open its eyes and look ahead for a while, and then close its eyes at the staff's instruction.
"Clear your mind, don't think about anything," Ke Mingye continued to give the order.
The puppeteer performed the trick, and the others in the theater looked at the giant screen, only to find that the image displayed on the giant screen was empty, almost a blank.
"Brother, are you too nervous?" Bai Zini asked him, sitting next to the doll.
Seeing this, Ke Yinzhi interjected, "If you can't think of anything, how about reconsidering the keywords I mentioned earlier?"
He paused, then repeated to the trickster doll, "When you think of 'player,' what comes to mind?"
Cold sweat trickled down Ke Mingye's forehead, but a smile crept onto his lips. He thought to himself, "You're still trying to give me psychological suggestions. The thing sitting in the theater isn't human at all. How could you possibly manipulate its thoughts?"
As he thought about it, he mentally commanded the doll: "Imagine you are playing a shooting game on a screen, like CS:GO, and you are blowing enemies' heads off."
As the order was given, Ke Mingye's thoughts gradually appeared on the giant screen in Theater 4: He was sitting in front of his computer, playing a shooting game from a first-person perspective, holding an AK-47 in his hand, aiming the mouse at the head of an enemy that appeared from around the corner, about to fire, when the whole screen froze at that moment.
Wow, it's so effective?
The puppet took off its helmet, looked up at the giant screen in the theater, and said in a surprised tone.
Bai Zini sighed and rubbed her forehead, unable to resist saying disdainfully, "Brother, you even imagine you're playing a game while wearing a helmet? Your internet addiction is too severe!"
Ke Yongzhu curled her lip and added insult to injury, saying, "You said I have no imagination, but he has even less. No wonder he's the kind of person who sneaks out to play games halfway through a movie; all he can think about is games."
Ke Xiaomo and Ke Yinzhi stared at the giant screen in the theater, remaining silent before turning to look at each other.
"It's your turn, Second Brother!" Bai Zini took the brain imaging helmet from Ke Mingye's hand and ran to Ke Xiaomo's side.
"No, I'm not playing anymore."
Ke Xiaomo responded, his mind now filled with the image Bai Ziling had imagined, the image of the calamity dragon crouching in the shadows.
"Huh? You really aren't going to play? That would be such a downer." Bai Zini looked at him expectantly.
"If you want to keep playing, then keep playing. I'll just watch," Ke Xiaomo said.
“Okay,” Ke Yinzhi said. “Have all the children had enough of the experience? If you want the video saved, please leave your WeChat ID and I will send it to you on my phone later.”
"Wait a minute, I haven't had enough fun yet." Bai Zini said, turning her head to ask a staff member behind her, "Didn't you say there was another function?"
The staff member explained, "You mean the function that converts your vision into images? The images were automatically recorded when you put on the helmets."
“Yes, yes, this is it! Let me see how this ‘brain camera’ does,” Bai Zini said curiously.
Upon hearing this, the staff member pressed a button on their phone, and immediately more than a dozen photos appeared on the giant screen in the theater, all of which were scenes they saw with their eyes after putting on the helmets.
Ke Yinzhi stared quietly at the screen, flipping through one photo after another.
However, none of these photos contain the "player icon," and the scenes in each photo are normal—meaning that what everyone sees is normal, and no one sees anything that has been processed by the "game system."
Ke Yinzhi slowly approached Ke Xiaomo and said in a low voice, "It's been confirmed. Fortunately, at least for the time being, none of these little guys have been replaced by the 'players'."
"Is Akino one too?"
"Yes, although you said it was a bit strange, in terms of results, its visuals did not show any player characteristics, otherwise there should have been a bunch of weird icons."
Ke Xiaomo also looked away from the screen: "That's good, I was just being paranoid."
"Brother, your expression has been a bit strange since earlier." Ke Yinzhi paused, then asked, "Is it related to the scene Ziling came up with?"
“Yes…” Ke Xiaomo hesitated for two seconds, then lowered her voice and said, “That is the juvenile form of the Calamity Dragon. I have seen it once before, so I am very sure of its physical characteristics.”
"You mean... Ziling once saw the Calamity Dragon?" Ke Yinzhi raised an eyebrow.
Ke Xiaomo nodded: "That's right, but I don't know when. She must have seen the Calamity Dragon at least once, which is why she can so meticulously recall its details in her mind."
Ke Yinzhi looked at him, reached out, and put her hand on his shoulder.
As he pondered, he slowly said, "Don't worry, perhaps the Calamity Dragon had its eye on her sometime before, but she was lucky enough to escape... Anyway, it's good that she's alright. The Shadow Ninja Sect has already launched a search for the Calamity Dragon in this city, and we'll have results in a few days."
He shrugged: "Besides, you and I will be staying home for the next few days of summer vacation, so she's safe."
"I hope so," Ke Xiaomo said softly, her eyes darting around. "I've really failed as the second brother. I didn't even know when my sister encountered the Calamity Dragon... I've been thinking about this ever since I started. What if she got eaten by that dragon? I might never be able to forgive myself for the rest of my life."
“Once that dragon dies, she will be out of danger,” Ke Yinzhi said calmly. “Everyone will be fine, don’t overthink it.”
Ke Xiaomo remained silent for a long time: "Who in the family hasn't been confirmed yet?"
“Qiu Wu, she left the movie theater ahead of time.” Ke Yinzhi said expressionlessly, “So, leaving a sliver of possibility, it’s possible that she has already been replaced by the ‘players’.”
He paused for a moment: "Of course, it's just a possibility. None of us want to see our family members experience something like that, right?"
"What about Mom and Dad?" Ke Xiaomo asked again.
"According to the information provided by the two players, players only possess ordinary humans in the '10 to 35 years old' range. Since my parents are older than that range, we can confirm that they are not in danger of being possessed by players, so there is no need to make them wear any brain imaging helmets."
Ke Xiaomo pondered for a moment: "So, all that's left at home is Qiuwu?"
"Yes, I will confirm it. You should rest well," Ke Yinzhi said with a smile. "Conserve your energy and wait for information from the Ninja Sect. If I have time when you find it, I might come and help."
"No need. The Ninja Clan and the Calamity Dragon are sworn enemies. Killing them is our generation's mission, and according to the rules of the Ninja Clan, no outsiders are allowed to interfere."
Ke Yinzhi chuckled and asked teasingly, "So, I'm already an 'outsider'?"
“No.” Ke Xiaomo shook her head. “But this is different, brother. I hope you can understand.”
"I understand what you mean." Ke Yinzhi smiled and patted his shoulder, then turned to look at the people in the theater. "I'm going to find Qiuwu first. You take these little ones home."
“Okay, you be careful too.” Ke Xiaomo paused for a moment. “Also, if Qiu Wu really is a player…”
Ke Yinzhi interrupted him, saying, "If any insect dares to crawl into our home and harm our family, I will make them pay a heavy price."
He spoke calmly, as if stating a fact.
Ke Xiaomo was silent for a moment: "I don't object, but you must let me confirm it first before you take action."
"We'll see... I'm leaving."
Ke Yinzhi spoke softly, withdrawing his right hand from his shoulder and gesturing to the two staff members. They took the brain imaging helmet back from the child and followed him out of the theater.
Soon, Ke Mingye came over and nudged Ke Xiaomo with his hand: "Let's go, second brother, what are you standing here for?"
"It's okay, let's go." Ke Xiaomo said, looking away from Bai Ziling. But as soon as they stepped out of the theater, Ke Mingye said, "I'm going to the restroom, wait for me."
Ke Yongzhu glanced at him sideways: "Do you have to go to the bathroom so many times just to watch a movie? Lazy people need to poop and pee a lot. Don't forget to bring toilet paper again."
Bai Ziling chimed in, "Exactly."
"These two little brats talk so much."
The trickster doll muttered irritably as it vigorously ruffled the hair of the two little brats, then walked into the corner restroom, opened the door to the last stall when no one was looking, and went inside.
"Thank goodness we managed to get away with it..."
Ke Mingye, sitting on the toilet, closed the stall door and breathed a sigh of relief. He ordered the doll to take off its clothes and shoes and put them on himself.
"You stay here and wait for me to leave before locking the door."
After saying that, Ke Mingye put his hands in his coat pockets and slowly walked out of the cubicle. Only a gray humanoid figure remained inside, silently watching his retreating figure before closing the cubicle door.
Half an hour later.
As Ke Mingye and the others left the Yandaixing Cinema, the gray humanoid figure opened the toilet window and climbed out.
It found a trash can in an alley outside the movie theater, stuffed its body inside, and then exploded completely, turning into flames that engulfed everything around it.
