The Return to Hogwarts

The wooden box wasn't sealed with any powerful magic; it was simply closed. Once the lid was lifted, the contents inside were readily available.
"This isn't like you, Professor Slytherin. I thought there would be some difficult tests—"
Amosta said calmly, but the vertical lines between his brows did not smooth out, nor did he eagerly lift the wooden box.
What will Salazar Slytherin leave for himself?
Upon careful consideration, there are indeed some things that are attainable now.
That was the strange stone door he had seen in the memories of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, the one they had retrieved from beneath Azkaban, from the lair of the despicable Helbo!
According to what he had seen and heard in Helga Hufflepuff's memory, the stone door was a gateway to the starry sky, and the starry sky, the starry sky is where your journey home lies—this sentence was always engraved in Amosta's mind and he never forgot it.
By now, Amosta had come to realize that his memories had been tampered with, and some crucial memories had been sealed away. This powerful seal was something that even Amosta himself could not break. He had a feeling that perhaps only by venturing into the stars could he break the seal that imprisoned his memories.
To achieve this goal, besides the eerie stone door, he also needs to obtain the coordinates—the legendary Deathly Hallows.
The Elder Wand should be in Dumbledore's possession. Although this is just speculation, Amosta thinks it's pretty close to the truth.
The Resurrection Stone—if Amosta hadn't heard Dumbledore say that this item had fallen into Voldemort's hands, he would have thought that the wooden box left behind by Slytherin contained it.
After all, the four leaders should have known they needed it, and a thousand years ago, the stone was ultimately kept in the custody of Slytherin.
The Invisibility Cloak – currently unaccounted for.
So, could this box contain the Invisibility Cloak, one of the Three Holy Relics that Slytherin had found for him?
Amosta narrowed his eyes, then dismissed the guess.
The story of the Three Holy Relics became popular starting with the wizarding fairy tale left by the bard Beedle. Beedle lived long after the era of the Four Lords. If the Invisibility Cloak had fallen into the hands of the Four Lords a thousand years ago and been hidden in this vault by Slytherin, then Beedle would have had nothing to do with it afterward.
Rumble--
A roar reached Amosta's ears, startling him from his reverie and drawing his gaze to the green barrier of the vault's stone door.
The emerald green barrier that had been preventing magma from entering the vault was now trembling slightly under the continuous onslaught of the magma. The barrier, which had just been able to perfectly block out sound, was now allowing the roaring sound of magma to enter the vault.
As he watched the magic barrier gradually weaken, Amosta narrowed his eyes and noticed that the magic flowing in the invisible magic corridor on the stone door had become sluggish.
This shouldn't be the case.
The magic left behind by Salazar Slaterlin has protected his vault well for thousands of years; there's no reason why something should go wrong as soon as the door is opened.
Amosta seemed to have a hunch that some kind of 'conspiracy' was brewing.
A sense of urgency rose in Amostella's heart. Without further delay, he flicked his wand, and the black wooden box in front of him opened, finally revealing Salazar Slytherin's gift to him.
It was a bottle of magic potion and a stack of manuscripts!
Inside the wooden box was a glass bottle containing a potion that looked very much like Felix Felicis, but was slightly clearer. Amosta let the bottle float slowly in front of him to examine it closely. He discovered that many transparent mayfly-like creatures were floating in the golden liquid. These tiny things, whose true life forms were uncertain, swam happily in the golden liquid, radiating an unusual vitality.
Despite searching high and low for his knowledge of potions, Amostah could not find what potions Slytherin had left behind. Perhaps Slytherin himself brewed them, but considering his potion-making skills far surpassed those of the three founders, this thing must be extremely precious.
After examining it for a while, Amosta held the potion in her palm, then picked up the manuscript from the bottom of the box. The instant she deciphered the meaning of the text written in generic runes on the first page, Amosta's eyes widened, and her body trembled.
"Soul tonic?"
Chapter 974 Opportunity?
2024-06-13
Could it be that the Soul Nourishing Potion can significantly enhance a wizard's spiritual power, helping him overcome the final hurdle on the path to legend?!
Amosta was still surprised and excited by the possibility he had guessed when a crisp sound suddenly came from beside him, causing Amosta's expression to change slightly. He immediately turned around and saw the emerald green barrier blocking the lava turn into a stream of light and disappear into the lava lake that was just a stone's throw away!
What exactly are Slytherin up to?
These changes left Amosta bewildered, unable to fathom Salazar Slytherin's thoughts.
But he didn't have much time to think. After the barrier shattered, the magma outside was pouring into the vault. The great sun beside Amosta reappeared, preparing to leave the vault. But the moment he took a step, the ground beneath his feet suddenly trembled violently, and the awe-inspiring roar of the magma outside made Amosta's expression change drastically!
After Amosta left, only Amelia and Bogard remained on the sheer, steep rock face.
The human and the fairy had no desire to talk. They were both staring at the lava lake below, which exuded a majestic and fierce aura, staring blankly at the churning and boiling surface of the lake, without saying a word.
Amelia looked worried. Although she had witnessed Amosta's extraordinary power and was confident that Amosta would not act rashly and must have had sufficient confidence to decide to venture into the lava, she still couldn't control her anxiety.
Like Amelia, Borgrod was worried about Amosta, but for different reasons.
The cart they had just been riding in had slid into the lava, and now they were in an awkward position on the stone platform, far from any village or town. If something happened to Amosta Blaine, who could possibly get them out of the lava field?
Time ticked by, the rumbling of the surging lava and the violent sounds of it crashing against the rock walls tormenting Amelia's mind. She clenched her fists, struggling to overcome her fear and the urge to collapse.
"How long?"
Amelia's sense of time became blurred at this moment. She couldn't be sure how long she had been waiting. In her perception, at least several hours had passed!
Five minutes
Bogrod wiped the sweat from his brow and said that Amosta Blaine's magical barrier had effectively protected them from the heat, but the fear of death made Bogrod uncontrollably nervous.
Five minutes?
Amelia breathed heavily a few times, her dry, pale lips moving as she spoke in a daze.
"We'd better pray Mr. Blaine returns safely, or we're both doomed. The defensive magic beneath Gringotts prevents goblins and wizards from Apparating, and the cart can't get to our location. We can only rely on him."
The old witch said in a low voice.
That was indeed the case, but it was the old goblin's statement that made Amelia uncomfortable. The only reason this old goblin named Bogrod cared about Amostella was because only Amostella could take it away from here. But Amostella couldn't be blamed, could he? It was Gringotts' irresponsibility towards its clients' vaults that forced Amostella to take the risk.
"what is that!"
Amelia's gaze turned slightly cold as she looked at Borgero. She was about to say something when Borgero, whose eyes remained fixed on the lava, suddenly cried out in surprise.
"I saw a green light flash across the surface of the lava lake!"
"A green light?"
Amelia was a little confused. She was about to ask further, but suddenly—
boom!
As if a nuclear bomb had exploded in an underground cavity, Amelia and Borgrod were horrified to find that the world in front of them was suddenly shaking, and the shaking was getting more and more intense.
Amidst the continuous tremors, the magma beneath the earth, like water in a half-full glass, began to shake wildly. Most deadly of all, under the influence of some unknown force, ferocious roars echoed from beneath the magma lake, and streams of scorching magma were flung into the air, whipping everything like lashes!
boom--
A pillar of lava that exploded beside them terrified the old goblin, and even Amelia couldn't help but let out short screams.
The splashed lava emitted a blinding light for a moment, then struck the milky-white magic barrier with crackling sounds. Fortunately, the magic barrier left by Amosta was reliable enough that nothing unexpected happened.
"It's going to collapse," Bogrod suddenly said out of the blue.
"what?"
Amelia asked loudly, looking in the direction the fairy was pointing. Her face, pale with fear, instantly turned completely bloodless—the impact of the lava pillar had created a desperate gap in the rock wall beside the platform where they were standing, and this gap was spreading towards the platform amidst the continuous tremors!
If they continue to wait like this, even if Amosta's method can withstand it, the stone platform beneath them will not be able to!
Amelia immediately aimed her wand at the crevice, hoping to take some compensatory measures, but the shaking of the mountain, the surge of magic, and fear prevented her from succeeding in casting spells several times in a row.
"let me!"
"Borgrod!" it shouted, but just as it clenched its fingers, another pillar of lava came crashing down—
Crack! Gravel fell in a flurry!
A terrifying crack suddenly appeared in the mountain from top to bottom, the platform collapsed, and Amelia and Borgrod were thrown out!
call!
A fierce wind arose, and the intense heat made Amelia and the old goblin Borgrod feel dizzy in just a few seconds.
Dying?
Just as Amelia thought this, the scorching heat that had been tormenting her suddenly receded, and a cool sensation quickly brought her and Borgrod back to their senses.
After a moment of blurred vision, Amelia and Bogrod found themselves at the edge of a passageway piercing the rock wall at the very top of a huge underground cavern.
"You all stay here—"
Gazing down at the fiery pillars that writhed like tentacles and the rapidly rising lava lake, Amosta's expression was incredibly solemn. He twisted his wrist holding the wand and prepared to step out, but Amelia grabbed his robe.
"Don't go, Amosta, it's dangerous!"
A few strands of hair clung to her cheeks with sweat, and Amelia, her fair face flushed, looked frantic.
"What on earth is going on?"
"The magma is erupting, the reason is hard to say—"
Amosta's voice was solemn.
"But I have to solve this, or Diagon Alley will be finished!"
With those words, Amosta, freed from Amelia's pull, leaped back into the lava, eventually hovering above what appeared to be boiling lava.
The underground cavern was as vast as a world unto itself, and compared to it, Amosta was as insignificant as a speck of dust. Now, he had to use his own strength to stop the raging of the forces of nature.
Click!
Bolts of lightning shot from the void, striking the lava lake that was continuously unleashing enormous, tentacle-like magma tentacles. In Amosta's magical vision, the magic of nature was stirring the magma below in a wondrous way, causing it to erupt with power similar to a solar storm.
Boom, boom, boom!
