Apart from the faint, almost inaudible groans of pain emanating from the grotesque Muggle girl lying on the lab table, everyone in the room stared wide-eyed at Amosta Blaine and the blonde girl beside him, their thoughts frozen in place.
"impossible--"
Jasna's fingertips trembled as she shook her head slightly, speaking with difficulty in a hoarse voice.
"You couldn't have found this place, Blaine. Apparition isn't allowed here. How did you—"
Halfway through her sentence, Jasna suddenly realized something and abruptly looked down at the gold pocket watch in her palm.
“Your reaction is quick, Ms. Rozier,” Amosta said gently, “just not very clever.”
Upon hearing this assessment, Jasna's lips tightened. She raised her arm as if to smash the gold pocket watch to the ground, but before she could do so, an irresistible force snatched the watch from her hand and placed it precisely in Amosta's palm.
“This pocket watch holds precious sentiments, Ms. Rozier. If you don’t like it, you can give it to me. I have another use for it.”
Amosta smiled slightly and casually put the pocket watch into his pocket. Seeing him do this, Jasna felt as if she had been choked and couldn't make a sound.
The oppressive atmosphere in the room made it hard for Louise to breathe. The hand that had been supporting Louise's arm was now tightly clenched in her own. She cautiously scanned her surroundings. There were many things she couldn't understand, but that didn't stop Louise from knowing that these people in front of her were the scum of the wizarding world, a group of vicious and ruthless villains.
But looking at their expressions and the terror in their eyes as they stared at Amosta, Louise finally had a direct understanding of the title 'the most powerful wizard of our time'.
Her gaze finally settled on Amosta's cold, hard profile, her eyes filled with reverence.
Da da da--
Unexpectedly, Amosta, who was being watched with fear by everyone, did not immediately draw his wand and start killing. Instead, he strode toward the testing table and toward the Muggle woman who had already formed a 'cocoon'. Louise followed closely behind him, not daring to let go of Amosta's hand.
The silkworm cocoon woman lay on the ground, her face completely unrecognizable, only her slit-like eyes filled with a pleading light—not a plea for life, but a plea for death.
Amosta ran his fingers along the woman's arm, leaving traces of black sand on his fingers. After examining them, he brought them to his nose and sniffed them carefully, trying to discern the grime.
Is there any hope for her?
Louise doesn't understand magic, but that doesn't mean she lacks even the most basic reasoning ability. What happened to this woman is probably similar to what happened to her brother and Valeria. She spoke in a sorrowful tone, filled with sadness and anger.
"It's hopeless."
Amosta did not mince words and gave his judgment directly.
"She was parasitized by the power of the Obscurus. She was used as a vessel to seal dark magic and evil thoughts. No wonder you have that kind of power."
With a soft sigh, Amosta stood up and calmly looked at the blond youth beside Jasna.
"Did you become what you were by naturally occurring misfortunes, or were you forced into it by man-made disasters?"
With just one sentence, Angus Aeschylus's expression twisted into a ferocious grimace, and wisps of black smoke rose from his pale, bloodless face.
"Amosta Blaine, what do you think!"
"It seems to be the latter—"
Before Aeschylus could finish speaking, Amosta nodded, a hint of sympathy flickering in her purple eyes, but it vanished in an instant. Then, Amosta looked at Louise.
"I'm certain now, Louise, this person is the wizard who killed your brother. What do you plan to do? Kill him?"
Louise was still confused and asked, bewildered,
"What is my silence?"
"The power of magic comes from the mind,"
Amosta said
"An Obscurial is someone with magical talent who suffered a tragedy in childhood that destroyed their spirit. This trauma breeds dark magic that devours life force and reason. Generally, an Obscurial has a limited lifespan, but he—"
Amostella pointed her gaze at Aeschylus, whose human form was crumbling, and said calmly,
"It should be that he constantly expels the ever-increasing dark magic from his body and temporarily entrusts it to others, thereby suppressing his power and prolonging his life."
"You think you can leave here alive, Amosta Blaine!"
Perhaps it was the provocation of his words, or perhaps it was Amosta's seemingly nonchalant manner, but in reality, his intimidating presence hung over these people like the Sword of Damocles, preventing them from making any rash moves.
This pressure fueled Aeschylus's boundless rage, and he roared...
You will pay the price for your arrogance!
Roar!
In an instant, Aeschylus's body transformed into a large cloud of black sand. This black sand, which emitted the screams of the murderer, expanded rapidly as it spun, crackling and hitting the walls of the room, dissolving the protective power of the walls layer by layer!
"Do not--"
The old wizard, who had turned himself into a grotesque mess from conducting forbidden experiments, finally came to his senses. He looked at Gasina in a panic.
"We can't let him completely lose control here; he'll destroy this place!"
Jasna's eyes flickered, but she did not make any move, simply observing how things would unfold.
Roar, roar, roar!
The black sand roared incessantly, and the rapidly spinning sand mist stirred up a raging hurricane in the room, destroying everything in its path. Amosta simply watched the Muggle girl at his feet. Summoned by some force, the dark magic within the girl simultaneously became restless. Without the suppression of the alchemical instruments, the girl quickly melted like a candle under the evil magic, and the dark power sealed within her body rapidly merged into the black hurricane.
Amostella watched as the Muggle girl's body melted away, her life force rapidly fading from her eyes in a gradually relieved expression, but she did not stop it.
The black hurricane, now imbued with power, was even stronger. Even Jasna had to use her armor charm to resist the suffocating feeling in the air, let alone Louise, the only Muggle in the house, who was only able to stay upright by relying on Amosta's arm.
Suddenly, a surge of black sand burst forth from the raging black hurricane, like a giant dragon hovering in the air, its ferocious head bared, revealing bloody fangs, and charged straight toward Amosta, who was staring at the ashes left behind by the Muggle girl on the ground.
Just as the black wave was about to crash down, Amosta suddenly twisted his body, raised his arm with an endlessly indifferent gaze, and swung his wand down heavily, as if whipping the air.
Boom!
A silver flash appeared in the dark, dust-filled room, as if thunder had struck the laboratory. The air in the limited space vibrated violently. Many researchers with mediocre magic rolled their eyes and collapsed to the ground. Jasna's iron armor barrier also shattered, and she fell to the ground, pale-faced with blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.
Amosta himself and Louise, who was also inside the milky white barrier, were the only two people standing in the room.
The black storm, violently impacted, suddenly exploded amidst piercing screams, but in the blink of an eye, it coalesced again.
Amosta Blaine!
A high-pitched scream that could shatter eardrums erupted in the laboratory, and dazzling lightning bolts flashed in succession in the air ionized by powerful magic, destroying everything in the room with overwhelming force.
call!
The silent man was completely enraged, as if the boundless sea had never dried up. A black torrent plunged down from mid-air, washing over the milky white barrier surrounding Amosta and Louise. The two completely different magical forces collided and erupted into intense flames, quickly making the temperature in the room unbearably hot!
Ignoring the howling black storm, and glancing over the researchers who had collapsed and fainted on the ground, Amosta looked at Jasna Rozier, who was struggling to support herself with her iron armor. Amosta thought for a moment, then raised her wand again and lashed the air.
Boom!
With a deafening roar of pain and a flash of silver-green light sweeping in all directions, the room collapsed completely amidst billowing smoke and dust.
Chapter 798 The Judgment Moment (Part 7)

In a deafening tremor, the laboratory ceiling collapsed, and the walls of the room shattered under the immense impact. Thick smoke and dust billowed outwards along the narrow passageway, blurring everything in sight.
Jasna collapsed to the ground, her face pale, the sharp pebbles splattered on the ground leaving bloody marks on her beautiful face and jade-like arms.
We must escape from here and deliver the message to my father!
This thought lingered in Jasna's mind. From the moment she saw Amosta Blaine appear there, she knew that things had reached a point where there was no turning back.
The anti-Apparition spell that had enveloped the area had been broken by Amosta's magic. Just as Jasna was about to Apparate away from this base, which had cost her countless efforts over the past half-century, a golden-flamed spear suddenly appeared from the billowing dust and struck the ground beneath her feet with a clanging sound!
Before Jasna could react, the flaming spear rapidly transformed, with lines of fire extending from its shaft. In the blink of an eye, a cage of fire had already bound Jasna within it.
"Stay there and don't move."
Amidst the murky smoke and dust, Amosta's cold, commanding voice rang out.
The scattered black mist and dust had not yet regrouped, but the commotion had already attracted attention. Inside the base buried deep underground, the shrill alarm of the Howling Curse suddenly rang out, and many people rushed over from all directions.
Amosta remained calm. After surveying the situation within the base, he raised his wand high, and flames surged from its tip like a golden torrent!
Rumble!
With effortless control, the golden pillar of fire easily pierced through layers of floorboards, penetrated rock layers and damp soil to reach the ground above. Then, surging flames rose into the sky, transforming into a breathtakingly huge spider web that covered the ground. The intense light illuminated the night sky as bright as day, visible even from Berlin!
At the same time, another flame separated from the torrent of fire transformed into finer 'fire threads'. These threads did not wreak havoc within the vast base, but instead quietly penetrated to the lowest level and rapidly coiled along the building surfaces, eventually forming a fiery cocoon that surrounded the base.
The wizards at the base, who were passing through the fireplace, were shocked to find that the Floo Network had lost its effectiveness. Meanwhile, people from the outside world were rushing to this place. The wizards who were in the Floo Network magic network suddenly lost their coordinates and were 'thrown' out of the void.
"Let's go, change places."
The passageway was still collapsing. The terrain here was not suitable for fighting. Amosta grabbed Louise's wrist, swung his cane to disperse the dust, and his body suddenly turned into a blur, appearing in the hall in the blink of an eye.
Wizards were pouring out of the numerous passageways in the towering rock walls, with only one opening spewing out smoke and dust.
'What happened? Has there been a lab accident?'
The base wizards gathered in the hall were still unaware of what had happened. They looked up, their brows furrowed, at the cave entrance from which billowing smoke and howling ghasts were emanating, and discussed among themselves.
The usually solemn and quiet base was in a rare state of chaos, so much so that the wizards here did not realize that danger was just around the corner, and that Amosta Blaine was right beside them.
Louise looked completely bewildered; everything that had just happened was too stimulating for her. Amosta didn't react immediately either, but instead turned to look at the castle depicted on the huge relief at the front of the hall.
"what!"
"Are you insane, Aeschylus!"
Suddenly, a roar of terror and rage erupted from the dusty tunnel, the voices of the base's wizards who had rushed in to investigate.
