The Return to Hogwarts

"Incredibly stupid --"
Amosta murmured in a voice only he could hear.
To repeatedly split one's complete soul into anchor points, just to keep one's inevitably decaying body in the sea of humanity forever—what a foolish act! Amostah has experienced the cycle of worlds; he is probably the only person in this world who has 'died' yet survived again. Life and death are like a dream to him. Voldemort's obsession with 'life' is something he cannot understand.
However, there are still some things about this diary that Harry once had that Amosta finds incredible.
Amosta had seen Horcruxes before and even destroyed Voldemort's Horcruxes with his own hands, but he was truly surprised that this diary, which had briefly been in Harry's possession, possessed the ability to actively deceive and mislead a person with the power of words. Why did this thing have such a high degree of 'activity'?
"I think there's something you might not know—"
Amostella opened her eyes, looked at the three anxious people, and said calmly,
"Tom Riddle was the name Voldemort used when he attended this school, or perhaps that was Voldemort's original name."
Clang!
Amosta's whispered message struck the three people in front of him like a thunderbolt. Ron's legs buckled and he knocked over the kettle on the stove. Hermione screamed, while Harry looked ashen-faced.
"So!"
Harry had no time to concern himself with how Mr. Blaine had learned this information. He forced back the nausea and dizziness from his past close encounters with Voldemort's dark magic creations and pressed for an answer.
"It was Voldemort. It was him all along. He opened the Chamber of Secrets fifty years ago, and he framed Hagrid!"
Aside from Harry, Professor Blaine was the only wizard Ron had ever seen who could say the word 'Voldemort' in such a calm tone. Normally, he would have been extremely surprised, but now, he was filled with nothing but despair.
Before learning this news, he still fantasized that if they found the secret room in time, Ginny might still be saved. But now, no matter how optimistic Ron was, he dared not imagine that his sister was still safe and sound!
"Professor Blaine!"
Large beads of sweat appeared on Hermione's forehead, a sign that she was thinking at full speed with her clever little brain.
"If we explain all this to the Ministry of Magic, then what about Hagrid and Headmaster Dumbledore—"
“If that notebook were still in your possession intact, perhaps the Ministry of Magic might accept our explanation, Miss Granger,”
Amosta understood Hermione's intentions, but his response was disappointing.
"But right now, we have no evidence to prove that this diary ever existed, nor the incredible abilities it possesses. The Ministry of Magic will not easily believe the claims of three underage wizards."
Professor Blaine's words filled Harry with immense guilt. Ron had warned him that this mysterious diary was extremely dangerous, and Hermione had told him he should hand it over. However, he had stubbornly kept the diary with him, which almost directly led to the misfortune that befell Ron's sister.
Amosta remained silent, lost in thought.
From Harry's description, Amosta deduced that the diary was merely a vessel for Voldemort's thoughts and had no ability to act on its own. In other words, all the attacks in the first semester were simply carried out by the diary through the hands of a certain student, and based on the current situation, this student was very likely Ginny Weasley.
How exactly did Ginny Weasley obtain Voldemort's Horcrux?
Could it be that, just like I did back then, he accidentally discovered Voldemort's relics hidden in the castle?
Another question is whether Ginny Weasley is still alive?
According to Amos Tower, it's highly unlikely that Voldemort's highly active Horcrux would kill Ginny Weasley outright, as doing so would be far too 'wasteful'.
Amostella understands Horcruxes. Horcruxes have two functions. First, when the 'main body' suffers a fatal injury, the Horcrux uses itself as an anchor point to forcibly nail the broken soul to the world, thereby preventing the Horcrux maker from dying.
Secondly, Horcruxes have the power to revive their subjects, and the means to exert this effect is to devour the life force of the person who comes into contact with the Horcrux. Amosta has a deep understanding of this.
Absorbing life force is not a process that can be accomplished overnight. Judging from Amosta's vague impressions of Ginny Weasley during this period, the girl's life has not yet reached the point of being on its last legs. In other words, it is probably not an easy task for Voldemort's Horcrux to completely devour Ginny's life force in just a few hours.
But if the time drags on until sunrise tomorrow, Ginny's fate will be truly uncertain.

Chapter 81 Location of the Secret Chamber
A large patch of dark clouds drifted over, obscuring the bright moon in the sky. A chilling wind howled across the spacious lawns of Hogwarts. Hogwarts Castle on the cliff was brightly lit, but the flickering candlelight inexplicably carried a sense of unease.
Amos Tower personally escorted the three distraught young wizards back to the Gryffindor common room. Harry seemed to foresee his next move, and standing before the portrait of the Fat Lady, he pleaded with Professor Blaine to let him do something.
"It's all because of me—"
Harry didn't dare look Ron in the eye, and lowered his head sadly, saying...
"If I had been more vigilant and hadn't trusted that notebook so easily, perhaps Ginny wouldn't have been kidnapped into that Chamber of Secrets, Hagrid wouldn't have been taken away by the Ministry of Magic, and Lucius Malfoy wouldn't have had the opportunity to get rid of Headmaster Dumbledore!"
"This isn't your fault, Harry—"
Hermione patted Harry's back softly.
"Many wizards more experienced than you couldn't resist the mysterious man's bewitching influence, and none of us realized that the diary harbored evil intentions."
"Hogwarts can no longer afford to lose another young wizard, Potter—"
Amos Tower's memories hidden in the dormitory revealed some crucial information, but they didn't mention the exact location of the Chamber of Secrets. He looked at the dejected Harry, a meaningful smile playing on his lips.
"The basilisk in the secret chamber is not something an ungraduated novice wizard can easily handle. If you happen to encounter it, remember not to make eye contact with it—"
On the way back, Amostella ran into Professor McGonagall outside the school hospital on the fourth floor. She was furious and scolding several Hufflepuff upperclasswomen. When she saw Amostella coming from a distance, Professor McGonagall stopped scolding them and instead had Filch escort them back to their dormitories.
"These students!"
Professor McGonagall's face was ashen; she pursed her lips and uttered each word slowly and deliberately.
"It's ridiculous that they actually sneaked out to find Gilderoy, hoping he could help them deal with that heir. Even Albus couldn't do anything about it—"
"It can only be said that Professor Lockhart's previous books did indeed have a remarkable persuasive power."
Amosta shrugged and said, then he saw Professor McGonagall take out a lace handkerchief and gently wipe her eyes behind her square-framed glasses, speaking in a thick nasal voice.
"--When Fudge came here before, he told me that tomorrow Rufus Scrimgeour, the head of the Auror's office, would be leading a team into the castle to thoroughly investigate Hogwarts and its students and staff."
I truly hope that whoever did all this in secret will feel ashamed of their actions and step forward to take responsibility. I still don't know how to explain to Arthur and Molly that Hogwarts failed to protect their daughter!
By the time Amosta calmed Professor McGonagall down and collected all the panoramic telescopes he had placed in the school corridors, it was already past 10 p.m. when he returned to his office.
Only half of the surveillance footage on the office wall was still working; the entire view from Gryffindor dormitory all the way to the third floor of the school was now dark.
"The third floor?"
Based on this alone, Amosta confirmed this crucial information. He sat cross-legged on the ground, spread out the panoramic telescopes damaged by the freezing spell in front of him, and began to repair the magical corridors one by one. Because of the severe damage, it took Amosta quite a while to complete the task.
call--
When it was eleven o'clock, Amosta stood up, took out his wand, and aimed it at the panoramic telescope on the ground. Under the guidance of magic, hundreds and thousands of golden rays of light gradually gathered in mid-air to form a series of frozen images. The only information left in the images made Amosta's eyes narrow slightly.
Sure enough, there was no one else in the picture except for Ginny Weasley!
Amosta watched as Ginny, clutching a black diary, emerged from behind the portrait of the Fat Lady. She gave a deep, sinister smile to the panoramic telescope mounted on the ceiling of the corridor, then suddenly waved her wand. The previously calm scene abruptly began to shake before going completely black.
Ginny's last known location was on the third floor. She stood at the corner of the third-floor staircase and, just like before, damaged Amosta's panoramic telescopes. Her final whereabouts remain a mystery.
Amosta then examined the historical footage from the second and first floors and found that Ginny indeed did not continue downstairs; the last place she stayed was indeed the third floor.
That's interesting. What exactly is on the third floor?
Could it be that the location of Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets is there?
Tuk-tuk-tuk!
Just as Amosta was momentarily lost in thought, the office door suddenly slammed shut. Judging from the frequency and urgency, the person who came must have been in a great hurry.
Although the door was not yet open, Amosta had already sensed who was coming through his magical vision, and his expression became slightly strange.
"Miss Granger?"
Amosta twitched his finger, and the office door clicked open by itself. Hermione, who was practically leaning against the door, stumbled and rushed in.
"Could you explain why, at this time of utter silence, you defied school rules and Professor McGonagall's orders to come to my office late at night?"
"Professor Blaine!"
Normally, if a professor spoke to her in a displeased tone, Hermione might have already nervously admitted her mistake. But now, she completely ignored Professor Blaine's furrowed brow, rushing to Amostella in a few strides. With her last shred of reason, she refrained from directly tugging at Amostella's sleeve, but her tone remained incredibly urgent.
"Professor, we've found the location of the secret room!"
Amosta suddenly frowned. He looked intently at the little witch and, in just a moment, determined that Hermione was not lying.
This is really strange. I had already sent them back to the Gryffindor common room. Could it be that these stubborn little guys ran out to search the castle again?
“Tell me in detail about your findings, Miss Granger!”
Now is not the time to dwell on trivial matters. Amosta steadied himself and asked directly.
"Phew, I see, Professor Blaine!"
Hermione was breathing heavily, but she didn't have time to ask Professor Blaine for a cup of tea now. She pursed her dry lips and said in a hoarse but rapid tone,
"It was Harry. After the three of us returned to the common room, we didn't go back to our dorm to sleep. Instead, we discussed Reed Mystic's diary in the common room. At first, we were just talking about trivial things, but then Harry suddenly remembered something very important!"
"whats the matter?"
Seeing Hermione's suddenly wide, amber-like eyes, Amosta quickly pressed for an answer.
"--Previously, when Harry was communicating with that diary, he overheard it mention that fifty years ago, the student who died in the basilisk attack died in a washroom!"
"Go on, Miss Granger!"
Amosta's brow twitched slightly, his tone revealing obvious excitement. The so-called 'protagonist' is truly a magical species, with all sorts of opportunities being shoved into their hands!
"The restrooms on the third floor!"
Hermione made the final statement.
