Chapter 323: The Dark-Dark Fruit!

"Where is this place?" the white-bearded man asked.

“This is a temple containing an ancient artifact that can devour any Imperial Arms,” Locke explained. “We need to use it to destroy Blackbeard’s Dark-Dark Fruit.”

"This artifact is amazing, but it's also very dangerous," the Phoenix warned. "If used improperly, it could lead to serious consequences."

“I know, but we have to take this risk,” Locke said. “Otherwise, Blackbeard’s crimes will continue to threaten humanity and the world.”

The three entered the temple and saw a huge artifact that emitted powerful energy fluctuations.

“This is a very ancient artifact, said to have been created by the gods,” Locke explained. “It can devour any Imperial Arms, including the Dark-Dark Fruit.”

"So what should we do now?" Whitebeard asked.

“I need to devour this artifact, and then devour the Dark Fruit,” Locke said. “But this process is extremely dangerous, and you will need to protect me.”

“No problem, we will protect you,” the phoenix said.

Locke walked up to the artifact and began to absorb it. He felt endless energy surging into his body, which began to glow and radiate a powerful aura.

"This is a very dangerous energy; you must control it carefully," Whitebeard warned.

“I know, I will be careful,” Locke replied.

Gradually, Locke's body began to change; he became stronger and stronger, and his body became brighter and brighter.

"The Dark Fruit has arrived here," the Phoenix reminded.

Locke quickly devoured the Dark Fruit, and he felt powerful dark energy surge into his body, making him stronger.

“You did a great job, Locke,” Whitebeard praised.

"We need to get out of here quickly," Phoenix warned. "Blackbeard's men have already spotted us."

The three hurriedly left the temple, only to see Blackbeard's pirate crew heading towards them.

“We need to get out of here quickly,” Locke said.

“Okay, we’ll go with you,” the white-bearded man said.

The three started running, encountering Blackbeard's henchmen along the way, but Locke easily defeated them all.

“You can’t stop me!” roared one of the black-bearded henchmen.

“We don’t need to stop you, because you’ve already failed,” Locke said.

Locke ran at full speed, his body surging with powerful energy. He felt his strength growing stronger and stronger, as if he could easily defeat any enemy.

"I can feel my Dark Fruit constantly strengthening; it's a truly magical feeling," Locke told his companions.

.... .. .......

"Your abilities are truly powerful, Locke," Whitebeard exclaimed. "Could you tell us what your abilities are?"

“Of course, my ability is the Dark-Dark Fruit, which allows me to control the power of darkness,” Locke explained. “I can make darkness thicker, or make it disappear.”

"Then can you use this power to become invisible?" the Phoenix asked curiously.

“Of course, I can make myself completely invisible, and I won’t even make a sound,” Locke replied.

"That's truly amazing, Locke," Whitebeard exclaimed. "Your abilities can help us even more." (VI.)

Chapter 324: Prepare to meet death!

“I will do my best, Lord Whitebeard,” Locke said. “I believe we will win this battle.”

The three continued running forward, the pirates behind them getting closer and closer, but Locke was not afraid at all. He believed that his strength could defeat any enemy.

“You guys leave first, I’ll hold these guys off,” Locke said.

“But this is too dangerous, Locke,” Whitebeard said worriedly.

"April 27th"

“Don’t worry, I can handle them,” Locke said. “You guys hurry up and leave.”

Whitebeard and Phoenix hesitated for a moment, but in the end they held Locke's hand tightly and then turned and ran forward.

Locke stood still, watching the pirates get closer and closer. His body began to emit a strong dark light as the pirates were about to reach him.

"Are you Blackbeard's men?" Locke said coldly.

“That’s right, we are Blackbeard’s loyal men. You traitors must die!” a pirate shouted.

Locke ignored their words. His body began to glow brighter, and dark power surged within him, as if it were about to erupt at any moment.

“You have one last chance, surrender,” Locke said.

"Don't even dream about it! We'd rather die than surrender to you!" another pirate roared.

Locke sneered, and his body vanished from the spot in an instant, leaving the pirates in complete darkness.

"What...what the hell is this?" one of the pirates exclaimed.

"Is this guy invisible?" another pirate exclaimed in surprise.

Locke's body emerged from the darkness, a ball of dark energy gathering in his palm, which he then hurled towards the pirates.

"Dark Sphere!" Locke shouted.

The pirates were blasted away by the dark orb, and Locke's body reappeared in the same spot. Looking at the fallen pirates, he couldn't help but feel secretly grateful for his immense power. However, he also knew this was not the end; many more enemies awaited him.

“You still have a chance, surrender,” Locke said to the pirates lying on the ground.

"We'd rather die than submit to you!" roared one of the pirates.

"Very well, then prepare to meet your deaths." Locke sneered, dark power beginning to surge within his body...

The pirates looked at Locke's body and sensed a powerful aura. They knew they were facing a formidable enemy, but they would not give up easily.

"We won't let you succeed!" one of the pirates roared, then lunged at Locke.

Locke calmly surveyed the pirates, a dark power surging within him. He was ready for battle, confident in his strength to defeat any enemy.

"Dark power!" Locke shouted, and then a powerful surge of dark energy was released from his body.

The pirates were enveloped in dark energy, and they felt their bodies growing heavier and heavier, unable to move. Locke looked at the trapped pirates and knew this was his chance.

"Darkness erupts!" Locke shouted, and then a powerful surge of dark energy erupted from his body, blasting all the pirates away.

Locke's body reappeared in the same spot. He looked at the pirates lying on the ground, secretly rejoicing at his immense power. However, he also knew this was not the end; many more enemies awaited him.

“You still have a chance, surrender,” Locke said to the pirates lying on the ground.

"We'd rather die than submit to you!" roared one of the pirates.

“Fine, then prepare to meet your death.” Locke sneered, and dark power began to surge within his body.

The pirates looked at Locke's body and sensed a powerful aura. They knew they were facing a formidable enemy, but they would not give up easily.

"We won't let you succeed!" one of the pirates roared, then lunged at Locke.

Locke calmly observed the pirates, a dark power surging within him. He was prepared for the battle, confident in his strength to defeat any enemy.

"Dark power!" Locke shouted, and then a powerful surge of dark energy was released from his body.

The pirates were enveloped in dark energy, and they felt their bodies growing heavier and heavier.

Locke felt his dark power surging within him; his eyes sharpened, and his body grew stronger. He knew he had become a true warrior, a warrior capable of defeating any enemy.

"You still have a chance, surrender," Locke said again to the pirates lying on the ground.

"We would rather die than submit to you!" roared a pirate named Baal.

"Are you really that persistent?" Locke asked. "Don't you want to live to see tomorrow's sun?"

"We don't need your pity!" roared another pirate named Hank. "With Blackbeard's support, we can defeat you!"

“Blackbeard has been defeated by me,” Locke said calmly. “Your support is gone.”

"Nonsense!" shouted another pirate named John. "Blackbeard can't be defeated by you!"

“I have proof.” Locke took Blackbeard’s head out of his pocket. “This is Blackbeard’s head.”

The pirates were shocked and terrified by what they saw. They had once believed their leader to be invincible, but now he had been defeated. They didn't know how to face this fact.

"Now, do you still want to challenge me?" Locke asked.

“We…we won’t give up!” John shouted. “We will fight to the very last moment!”

“Alright, then let’s fight to the bitter end,” Locke said.

The ensuing battle was exceptionally fierce. The pirates charged at Locke relentlessly, but he easily defeated them all. Locke's dark power made him invincible; even the most powerful enemies could not withstand his attacks.

“You have no chance left,” Locke said. “Now lay down your weapons and surrender.”

Looking into Locke's eyes, the pirates felt utterly defeated. They knew they could no longer contend with this powerful warrior, and their only option was to surrender.
