Without hesitation, Jiwan Dorjee said, "We will build a Buddhist kingdom in the snowy land so that people in every region can be bathed in the light of the Buddha, achieve liberation, and finally transcend the three realms."

Jialuo rolled his eyes inwardly. The Snow Region Buddhist Kingdom sounded prestigious, but in reality, it was nothing more than a power struggle between nobles and aristocratic monks. He had heard plenty of stories about the evils committed by such power struggles.

To make so-called ritual implements, people were skinned alive, their eyes gouged out, and skulls were made into containers for drinking alcohol. There were also various ritual implements made from people called "gala"—intestines gala, hand bones gala, brow bones gala.

Compared to these guys, he, this villain, doesn't seem so evil.

Jialuo's mind raced, constantly considering whether he should get involved in the two forces that were both pursuing him, hoping to get a share of the spoils. If he did, along with the Governor's side, he could blend in among the three factions.

Ten thousand Ji and Li Jialuo exchanged a glance, seeing that he remained silent without saying a word. This made them very uneasy, as they had no idea what Chen Jialuo was thinking.

They've already revealed their true colors...

But not wanting to appear too eager, he smiled and steered the conversation elsewhere.

Li Jialuo said, "Your Highness, you must have been to the Imperial Hotel quite a few times. Are you tired of the food here? If so, I haven't been able to entertain you properly. I'll just have to make up for it next time."

As Chen Jialu ate, he felt a bit that the food was neither very tasty nor very appealing. He said indifferently, "It's alright. The dishes here are updated every month."

Li Jialuo couldn't help but wonder if this meant Chen Jialuo wasn't interested in his proposal. If so, his mission failure would anger his superior, and he would lose all hope of promotion and a raise. More importantly, his wife and children, far away in Taiwan, would be in a very difficult situation.

He said, "That means Crown Prince Luo is quite satisfied with my arrangements."

Chen Jialuo said, "Satisfied."

Halfway through the meal, Chen Jialuo's phone rang. It was Wei Si calling. He answered, and Wei Si's voice came through, saying, "Brother Luo, I got word that a group of ruthless bandits from the mainland have smuggled themselves in. They're in my territory. Old Ha said they robbed a bank on the mainland and their pockets are bulging. Should I take them out...?"

Chen Jialuo sighed and said, "How could we good citizens do such a thing? But then again, they are not good citizens."

Weiss smiled and said, "I understand. I'll have Four-Eyes take down a bunch of them to contribute to social harmony and ensure that those who are not good citizens receive the punishment they deserve."

Chen Jialuo smiled and said, "Ah, that's right, that's the kind of awareness you need to have. Okay, I'm still eating, I'll hang up now."

Weiss said, "When are you going to come to the gang again? Those two thugs who stopped you last time are still talking about your heroic figure and they keep asking to see you."

Chen Jialuo said, "I'm not some idol, why would you want to see me?"

Chapter 409 Give me 100 million, and I'll join you.

Weiss said, "In their eyes, you're an idol."

Chen Jialuo laughed and said, "I'm not going to chat with you anymore, I have something to do." With that, he hung up the phone.

On the other end of the line, Weiss held the phone and murmured, "If I don't talk, how can I listen to you talk more?"

After hanging up the phone, Chen Jiaju put his mobile phone on the table and said, "I've been quite busy lately."

Li Jialuo said with a smile, "Prince Luo is very busy with business and his wealth is rolling in every day. It's really enviable."

Chen Jialuo said, "You're not bad either. You invested in a film and television company, and now you have all the actors and everything, and you're all in business."

Li Jialu shook his head and said, "My film and television company is not just mine, and your film and television company is yours alone. It's not the same." Seemingly sensing the envy in his words, he changed his tone and said, "Prince Luo, I know you have your own considerations. After all, you have a large family and business, so it's understandable that you think more. However, joining us only brings benefits and no harm."

Chen Jialuo was a man who couldn't tolerate any nonsense. He could watch people show off, but he couldn't stand being fooled. He raised his eyelids and said, "What benefits do you have? Tell me first. We are all adults. Interests are the most important thing. We are long past the age of eating the empty promises others make."

Li Jialuo said, "We can give you money and weapons."

Chen Jialuo glanced at him and said, "How much money? Five million, ten million, or one hundred million? How many weapons? What kind of guns and what kind of ammunition?"

Seeing Chen Jialuo's serious expression, Li Jialuo was momentarily at a loss for words. Ten million, a hundred million—that was impossible. Taiwan was short of funds; even his own operating expenses were sometimes stretched thin. Weapons, however, could be procured.

He felt a pang of regret; he should have gotten confirmation from his superior before the meal. Now, he couldn't bring himself to say it. But in the world of business, one's identity is self-imposed. The best course of action was to first gain the people's trust, and then leave the rest to his superior.

He touched the wedding ring on his hand, twirled it a few times, and asked in return, "How much money do you want? How many weapons do you want? Just tell me, and we can discuss it."

Chen Jialuo naturally knew that he was testing his expectations. He said, "If you want me to join you, you'll get 100 million yuan, 500 automatic rifles, three heavy machine guns, a number of rocket launchers, and a number of grenades."

As soon as he finished speaking, Li Jialuo's eyes widened, and he cursed inwardly, thinking to himself, "You little mule, you really dare to say that? You dare to say one hundred million? Do you even know how much one hundred million is?"

"Even an 80-square-meter apartment can't hold all the cash! He really dares to ask for that much!" He cursed inwardly, thinking Chen Jialuo was asking for an exorbitant amount, a complete idiot.

As for weapons, he felt his superiors could approve them; getting some obsolete weapons wouldn't be difficult. Besides, chaos in Hong Kong and chaos on the mainland were things they needed.

Upon hearing Chen Jialuo's words, Jiwan Duoji's hand holding the chopsticks trembled, and the chicken leg fell to the table with a thud. His eyes were filled with disbelief, and his mouth was agape. He kept thinking to himself, "Crown Prince Luo really dares to ask for a hundred million. What he asked for from America is nothing compared to this."

A hundred million! My goodness! That's enough to live comfortably for generations. Thinking of this, he couldn't help but swallow hard. What snowy Buddhist kingdom? Compared to money, it's all insignificant.

Seeing that Li Jialuo remained silent, Chen Jialuo asked, "What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Li Jialuo said apologetically, "I need to ask my superiors for permission. However, one hundred million is really too much. It could be less, so that we can have more opportunities to cooperate."

"I'm the kind of person who never does anything to put others in a difficult position. You should consult your superiors before giving me a reply," Chen Jialuo said calmly.

He knew Li Jialuo didn't have that kind of power, and he also knew his damn superior couldn't possibly give him a hundred million. But he didn't care. If Taiwan really wanted to develop him, they would definitely have to offer something substantial. And at that point, he could swindle a good sum of money, even if it meant being hunted down by them later.

Furthermore, the pork syndicate in Taiwan, once discovered to be connected to him, will see its influence there completely destroyed.

In a short time, Chen Jialuo's mind raced through several ideas.

Tens of thousands of people spoke up for Li Jialuo, saying, "Prince Luo, money is a never-ending source of income. Once you join, they will definitely support you unconditionally. Just in terms of weapons alone, you are far ahead of other gangs. With weapons, you will have territory, and with more territory, that means a continuous stream of money. This is much better than a hundred million."

He didn't expect Jialuo to actually get a hundred million. The reason he sat down for tea and a meal with Li Jialuo was to try and get some investment from Taiwan. If it all went to Chen Jialuo, wouldn't his share be less? With this in mind, Jiwan Duoji pretended to be sincere and analyzed the benefits of Jialuo joining.

Chapter 410 Multiple Forces, A Thick Fog of Mystery

Jialuo, having risen from the bottom of society, had seen all sorts of dark methods, and naturally knew exactly what was going on in the small business of Wan Duoji.

He glanced at Jiwanduoji indifferently and said, "Mr. Jiwanduoji, it's not your place to lecture me on how I do things."

The meal was ultimately tasteless. After finishing, Jialuo didn't linger; he simply said goodbye and left. As soon as he stepped outside, he saw the nine-headed figure guarding the door.

After glancing at him, Jialuo turned and left, with Jiutoushi following behind him. The two of them then left the Imperial Hotel. At the entrance, Jiutoushi jogged to get the car, while Jialuo sat on the high-end sofa by the door.

At the far end of the sofa, someone was sitting. The person was wearing a gray suit, gold-rimmed glasses, and holding a newspaper, reading it.

He glanced at the man, then involuntarily recalled the major and minor events that had occurred over the past few years. He deeply felt that each event had changed him to some extent, affecting the inferiority complex and timidity he had previously felt he could never shake off.

Then he came here, became Tommy, and thought of killing Babi in public to take over the Causeway Bay branch. Then came the various rewards from the system, and the NESTS Fortress that influenced him the most.

His ambition seemed to be expanding in a direction he himself didn't understand... He had many guns, as well as submarines, rocket launchers, tanks, and fighters who could take on a hundred men single-handedly, each no less than a "king of soldiers".

In ancient times, they could all become generals based on their martial prowess. Weapons, systems, fighters—it's all packed with advanced technology. If anyone knew about any of these things, he would be in danger. Yet, he can't, and doesn't want to, abandon them and return to a mundane life.

He was already a sailor at the helm of the ocean, but the ship couldn't turn around. He thought back to Leona's words about ruling the world—it seemed like a pipe dream, but then again, it wasn't impossible. After all, he still had the system. What if he extracted advanced weapons from the system that didn't belong to this world…? Even Qin Shi Huang didn't rule the world; should he try?

His mind raced, and then he thought of Li Jialuo and Jinwan Duoji. They came to him seeking cooperation—utterly foolish! Were all the spies these days so weak, exposing their identities so easily?

He lit a cigarette, deciding to let Haderen investigate. Suddenly, he felt a gaze from the corner. He looked up sharply, and there was still only the young man in the gray suit and gold-rimmed glasses in the corner. He was holding a newspaper, looking very focused.

He could only sense that this man was no ordinary person. Chen Jialuo took a drag of his cigarette, then slowly exhaled, his handsome eyes slightly narrowed as he carefully examined the man.

From his unconsciously straight back, his spread-eagle posture, and the calluses on his hands, he deduced that this person was a soldier (beehive). He then noticed a file folder in the corner.

The briefcase was black, and although the material was of good quality, the handles were covered in sweat stains, and the surrounding area showed significant wear. It was quite incongruous to see someone dressed in expensive clothes carrying such a worn-out bag.

The man seemed unaware that Chen Jialuo was watching him, and continued reading intently to the newspaper. He flipped the newspaper to the back and continued reading without even lifting his eyelids.

He couldn't help but speculate about the man's identity—was he from the mainland? If so, was he here for Li Jialuo or tens of thousands of dollars... or did he have some other mission and just happen to be here, or was he specifically targeting him?

Just then, the nine-headed figure walked through the revolving door and stood beside Chen Jialuo, saying, "Brother Luo, the car is ready."

Chen Jialu hummed in agreement, his thoughts returning to him. He stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray, then patted the ash off his thigh and stood up. "Let's go."

As he spoke, he lifted his foot and walked away. When he arrived at the revolving door, he suddenly turned his head and saw the man in the suit looking at him as well.

The man in the suit looked at him, his expression visibly unnatural for a second, before returning to normal. Chen Jialuo turned his head, narrowed his eyes, and said to the man with the nine heads, "Find out where the man sitting in the corner is from and where he lives."

"Understood, Brother Luo," said the nine-headed man. He then took out his mobile phone from his waist and made a call.

Ten minutes after they came out, Li Jialuo and Jiwan Duoji came out of the elevator arm in arm, while the man in the suit sitting in the corner observed them out of the corner of his eye.

After they exited the revolving door, the man in the suit took off his briefcase, tucked it under his arm, and walked out as well. He then hailed a car, got in, and told the driver to follow Li Jialuo and his group.

Parked not far from the roadside, Chen Jialuo watched this scene thoughtfully and said, "Judging from this situation, they're not here for me."

The nine-headed man said, "It's not about you, Brother Luo, so it doesn't matter."

Chapter 411 Someone is cheating at the casino

Chen Jialuo remained silent, his mind racing as he sat in the back seat, like a machine running at high speed. As the stylish Mercedes-Benz drove along the road, the nine-headed man suddenly remembered something.

He asked, "Brother Luo, where are we going next? Are we going back to Prince's Road?"

Chen Jialuo said, "I won't go back to Prince Road, I'll go to Maxima's place, I know someone there."

The nine-headed man grunted in agreement, then turned the steering wheel and said, "I know a shortcut that will save at least 10 minutes."

Chen Jialuo said, "Then let's go."

After changing direction, Jiu Tou Shen slowed down a bit. The shortcut was in disrepair, full of potholes and difficult to drive on. But thanks to his superb skills, he didn't experience much of a bumpy ride.

Maxima's establishments include many casinos. When Jialuo arrived, he saw his henchmen unloading things from a car; upon closer inspection, he realized they were security cameras.

To prevent people from cheating in casinos, casinos have their own ways of making money, such as placing magnets on the gambling table or in the dice cup, or having the dealer tamper with the game.

However, this is only a minority; more often than not, they don't intervene. Instead, they choose to let the guests do as they please. This allows some people to develop cunning ideas and resort to cheating.

For example, there's the God of Gamblers, Ko Chun. While Ko Chun's gambling skills are superb, he's equally adept at cheating. Chen Jialuo challenged him on the gambling ship using the Four Souls Jade Pendant and won.

They arrived at Maxima's office without any hindrance. As soon as they pushed open the door, they saw him standing in front of a row of surveillance cameras, watching with his legs crossed.

His gaze fell on the monitor in the middle.
