Chapter 3 I've never been brave since I was a child

With a heavy heart, Wu Douyu walked toward Class D of the first year.

When he arrived at the door, some students had already entered the classroom before him.

Some sat in their seats looking at the materials distributed by the school, or they were just spacing out.

Some who knew each other gathered together to chat.

Wu Douyu looked around the classroom and finally found the spot to place his nameplate next to the window in the back row.

Arriving at his assigned spot, Wu Douyu stuffed his backpack into the drawer and then lay down on the table.

What am I going to do?! I can't believe I was actually assigned to Class D!

Wouldn't that mean I'd have to see Brother Lu every day?

Wouldn't that be the end of us?!

At this moment, a scene appeared in Wu Douyu's mind.

Under the dark red sky, he was bound to a cross, and standing in front of him was Brother Lu, dressed in a black robe, cold and ruthless, holding a long knife in his hand, constantly stabbing Wu Douyu's fragile body.

Oh! How scary!

Wu Douyu clutched his head and rolled around on the table.

As for going up against Brother Lu? Wu Douyu wouldn't even dare to dream of it!

He's just an ordinary person, how could he possibly fight against the ruthless Brother Lu!

Just because he knows the plot?

But he only knew the plot of the first and second seasons of the anime; he knew nothing about the later parts of the story!

Oh no! This is really going to be the end!

Wu Douyu clutched his hair tightly, looking utterly dejected.

Wu Douyu's strange actions were witnessed by his deskmate to his right.

"What are you doing? Are you playing the role of a dung beetle rolling a dung ball?"

Hearing the cold voice from the side, Wu Douyu looked up.

There stood a young woman with long, flowing hair, delicate features, wearing sexy black stockings that hugged her long, slender legs, and exuding a mature and composed aura.

If charm had a score, Wu Douyu would give this girl an 85 out of 100.

She put down the book "Crime and Punishment" and turned to look the boy up and down.

His hair was incredibly messy, his eyes were clear yet held a hint of foolishness, and his features were delicate, neither handsome nor ugly. Overall, he was unremarkable and had no redeeming qualities.

As the girl sized up Wu Douyu, Wu Douyu also recognized who the girl in front of him was.

Horikita Suzune is a character with personality flaws, yet she is also very arrogant and has a bit of a brother complex.

Her purpose in coming to this school was simple: to catch up with her brother, Horikita Manabu, and to prove herself to him.

Wait, that's strange. I remember in the anime, Horikita Suzune was supposed to be sitting with Ayaka, right?

Why did I suddenly sit next to him?

Wu Douyu propped his head up with his hand and squinted at Horikita Suzune.

It seems that my time travel has caused some butterfly effect!

"abnormal."

Seeing that Mutoha was staring at her with impolite eyes, Horikita Suzune's beautiful eyebrows furrowed involuntarily. Although she knew she was very good-looking and that many people liked to stare at her.

But for some reason, she felt a particular aversion to Wu Douyu's gaze.

To be honest, his gaze carried a condescending air, as if he knew all your secrets, which made you feel somewhat uncomfortable.

abnormal?

Holy crap, I haven't even done anything yet and she's already calling me a pervert!

Does my face look like it's covered in the word "pervert"?

Why does everyone have to call him a pervert?

Wu Douyu looked at Horikita Suzune with disbelief, just about to explain that he wasn't a pervert.

But her gaze was already fixed on the book in her hands, her eyes were indifferent, and she exuded an aura of "Don't bother me, I can't be bothered with you, don't explain, I won't listen."

Seeing this, Wu Douyu's originally handsome face was twisted with anger by Horikita Suzune's actions.

I'm speechless. It seems this label of "pervert" is stuck with me for good.

Wu Douyu sighed softly, thought about it, and decided to give up.

So what if he's a pervert? Considering what he did on the bus before, it's not an exaggeration to call him a pervert.

Just as Wu Douyu was resting his head on the table in a daze, a noise came from the left side of him.

A handsome boy with a center-parted brown haircut, but with a blank expression and emotionless brown eyes, and a missing button on his collar, slowly sat down to the left of Wu Douyu.

Wu Douyu turned his head and looked over. His face immediately froze, cold sweat beaded on his forehead, and his teeth trembled with fear.

Sitting to his left was none other than that ruthless man, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka!

Cool off, time to prepare for the feast.

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji naturally noticed the gaze from the side and turned around to see the boy who had just torn his clothes on the bus and seemed to have mental problems.

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka's cold eyes held a hint of disdain. He hadn't expected that Kiyotaka would be in the same class as him, and he felt inexplicably annoyed.

Looking at Brother Lu's cold gaze, beads of sweat slid down Wu Douyu's cheeks.

He swallowed hard in fear, raised his trembling hand, forced a smile, and said in a trembling voice:

"What a coincidence! I never expected we'd be in the same class!"

Upon hearing Wu Douyu's greeting, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka simply nodded slightly before continuing with his own tasks.

When Wu Douyu saw that Brother Lu was unwilling to pay attention to him, he was secretly pleased. Judging from Brother Lu's attitude, he probably disdained to pay attention to a nobody like him.

As long as I keep a low profile and stop provoking Brother Lu, it seems I can save my life.

Wu Douyu wiped the sweat from his forehead and felt a surge of relief.

It feels so good to be alive again!

"Hey, you seem really scared of that guy with the middle parting."

Horikita Suzune glanced at Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and asked Takeuchi with some curiosity.

Upon hearing Horikita Suzune's question, Taketoha turned around, lowered his voice, and said:

"Was I... was I that obvious?"

Horikita Suzune looked at the trembling legs under the table of Muto Yu, which looked like they had Parkinson's disease, and silently nodded.

Wu Douyu naturally noticed Horikita Suzune's gaze, looked down at his useless legs, and looked like he was about to cry.

He couldn't help it; he'd always been a very timid person since he was a child.

He still vividly remembers the scene when his parents asked him to catch a chicken from the henhouse to eat during Chinese New Year when he was a child. He was chased and bitten by several hens.

The thought of those humiliating scenes made Wu Douyu blush with shame, and he buried his head in the desk drawer, looking like a camel burying its head in the sand—foolish yet somewhat funny!

As Mutoha's deskmates, Horikita Suzune and Ayanokouji Kiyotaka naturally witnessed Mutoha's bizarre actions.

They couldn't help but become even more certain that Wu Douyu had a problem with his brain—a fact that was beyond dispute.

Chapter 4: Running away won't solve the problem.

The school bell rang.

A woman dressed in a black teacher's uniform, with long, jet-black hair tied back in a ponytail, looking neat and capable, walked in.

"My name is Chabashira Sae, and I am the homeroom teacher of Class D, in charge of Japanese language and history. I look forward to working with you for the next three years."

The woman's words were concise, just like her personality.
