Upon hearing this, Yanzi looked around and said, "It's quite far from the village. It'll probably take us an hour or two to get there."
Upon hearing this, the thrush spoke up.
"You all come back to the forest with me first."
"Let's go there, otherwise, with such a long distance, you'll be frozen solid by the time you get back to the village."
Upon hearing this, Bai Jing, Hu Bayi, and Fatty Wang exchanged glances.
After all, this place is quite far from the village, about four or five kilometers away.
It doesn't seem like it's that far, but you have to understand that this is a frozen wasteland, and you'd be lucky to travel at half the usual speed.
So after discussing it, the group agreed to Huamei's suggestion.
It's not far from the forest farm, just over a kilometer away.
Because we caught three weevils this time, if we exchanged them all for fruit candy, that would be a full thirty pounds of fruit candy!
Adding the previous weasel, these four weasels are enough to lift Bai Jing and his two educated youths out of poverty and into wealth.
Therefore, everyone chatted and laughed along the way.
Hua Mei led the way, while Bai Jing and Hu Bayi walked at the back, whispering to each other.
Hu Bayi spoke first.
"Old Bai, you said you are the Tomb Raider General. Although you showed me your bronze seal yesterday, it was too dark for me to see it clearly. Why don't you take it out and let me see it again?"
Bai Jing didn't say anything upon hearing this. In some ways, Bai Jing knew Hu Bayi better than Hu Bayi himself. Knowing that Hu Bayi was someone he could entrust his life to, he simply reached into his robes and handed the Tomb Raider Seal to Hu Bayi.
As he walked along the road, the sky grew brighter and brighter, and finally, Hu Bayi was able to see the details of the Faqiu Seal clearly.
Needless to say, this tomb raider's seal has been polished to a high patina, clearly an heirloom. Moreover, even with just one glance, Hu Bayi could tell that this tomb raider's seal was definitely genuine.
However, Hu Bayi was immediately puzzled.
After returning the Tomb Raider Seal to Bai Jing, Hu Bayi immediately asked the question that had been bothering him.
"I heard that this seal of the tomb raider was destroyed in the early Ming Dynasty. Why is that?"
What Hu Bayi was talking about was hundreds of years ago, after the Ming Dynasty was established, Liu Bowen was entrusted by Zhu Yuanzhang to build the imperial mausoleum. Liu Bowen was ordered by the emperor to build the imperial mausoleum, but at that time he had already developed the idea of retiring from the court. However, he was forced by the emperor to get out of the matter of building the imperial mausoleum.
Fortunately, he remembered that there was a group of "Coffin Mountain Guards" in the world who were most proficient in tomb records and the art of divination, so he pushed this "imperial mission" onto them.
After being introduced to Zhu Yuanzhang, Feng Wangli, the successor of "Coffin Mountain Protector," suggested that among all the tomb raiding professions in the world, the four major schools were the most powerful.
The methods of tomb raiding, gold-digging, mountain-moving, and ridge-unloading.
In fact, the methods of tomb raiding and grave robbing are of the same lineage.
There are nine Tomb Raider Talismans and one Tomb Raider Seal in this world.
As the saying goes, "One seal governs nine talismans," and the General of the Grave Robbers is the leader of the Grave Robbers, holding the Grave Robbers' Seal and commanding nine Grave Robbers who wear Grave Robbers' Talismans.
The rules are the same for both the tomb raiding generals and the tomb raiders: the legitimate successors must carry a talisman or seal before entering a tomb, otherwise they will absolutely not enter the tomb.
Needless to say, the Mountain Moving Taoists only go down into tombs for elixirs (Muchen Pearls) and do not take anything else from the tombs.
The final group, the Unloading Ridge, was nothing more than a rabble who, relying on their numbers, violently broke into the tomb.
Therefore, Feng Wangli advised Zhu Yuanzhang to confiscate the tomb raiding seals and talismans, prohibit the placement of cinnabar pearls in any tombs built after the Ming Dynasty, and simultaneously to do everything possible to eliminate the Xieling bandits.
According to historical records, during the Yongle reign, the Tomb Raider Seal and six of its talismans were destroyed, leaving only three talismans in the world.

Chapter 14 Yin-Yang Feng Shui Secrets
Apart from the tomb raiders and the tomb raiders, the mountain-moving sect was not interested in Ming Dynasty tombs because they knew that no cinnabar pearls were placed in them.
As for the final group of tomb raiders, to put it bluntly, they were purely violent tomb raiders and were completely helpless against many tombs.
Furthermore, the Ming Dynasty continuously suppressed the Xieling faction, and it wasn't until the late Qing Dynasty that they were able to recover some of their strength.
Thus, the four major schools of tomb raiding were no longer a significant force throughout the Ming Dynasty.
As a result, Wang Li was given important responsibilities by the royal family. He was bestowed with pure gold waist tokens and several of his disciples. From then on, the "Coffin Mountain Protector" was renamed "Guanshan Protector" and kept in the imperial court to serve the emperor, specializing in building mausoleums for the royal family.
Because of the suggestions made by the "Guanshan Taibao" led by Feng Wangli and the construction of the imperial mausoleum, as well as the three clans of Jiuyou General, Jushi Fawang and Yinyang Duandong who were also conferred titles by the Ming Dynasty.
This is how most of the imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty were able to be preserved intact.
Even after hundreds of years, until the founding of the People's Republic of China, the imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty were almost never looted.
To some extent, among all the dynasties in Chinese history, only the imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty have received such treatment.
It must be said that in this matter, the Guanshan Taibao, led by Feng Wangli, really put in a lot of effort.
And this is precisely what puzzled Hu Bayi.
Logically, the lineage of tomb raiders and gold hunters should only have three gold-hunting talismans left, so why did the tomb raiding seal end up in Bai Jing's hands?
Bai Jing did not hide anything from Hu Bayi's doubts.
Immediately, Bai Jing and Hu Bayi walked at the very back. Bai Jing thoroughly explained to Hu Bayi the process by which the Bai family obtained the Faqiu Seal, as well as some of the secrets involved.
"This Faqiu Seal was obtained by our ancestor Bai Yuhu when he accidentally entered a cave while chopping wood in the mountains. Along with this Faqiu Seal, there was also a book on Yin-Yang Feng Shui called 'Lingpu'."
According to the contents of the tomb record, this book represents the ultimate inheritance of the Faqiu lineage. Therefore, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Faqiu seal found with this book is very likely genuine.
After listening to Bai Jing's words, Hu Bayi remained silent for a moment, then reached into his robe and handed Bai Jing the half of the "Sixteen Characters".
Bai Jing took the half-book and flipped through it roughly.
One has to admit that Zhang Sanlianzi, that extraordinary man of the late Qing Dynasty, was indeed a remarkable figure of his time.
Although this half-book only contains the content of feng shui, this book written by Zhang Sanlianzi himself is only slightly inferior to the complete version of the "Lingpu" feng shui volume.
It should be noted that the "Tomb Catalogue" is a compilation of information gathered by countless extraordinary individuals and eccentrics over a thousand years of tomb raiding and excavation.
This three-chained man, relying solely on himself, was able to perfect the contents of this feng shui scroll to this extent.
The so-called sixteen characters refer to the sixteen characters: Heaven, Earth, Man, Ghost, God, Buddha, Demon, Animal, Awe, Suppress, Escape, Object, Transformation, Yin, Yang, and Emptiness.
This summarizes the Yin-Yang Feng Shui techniques into these sixteen characters.
Bai Jing's complete "Tomb Records" is also known as the Sixty-Four Characters, which is simply the sixteenth character above.
The characters are simply divided into more detailed categories.
Take, for example, the character “天” (tian) in the sixteen-character series.
This part mainly focuses on astrology, which is a significant part of feng shui. The land is divided into auspicious and inauspicious, and the stars are also considered good or evil. When looking at feng shui and searching for dragon veins, one must observe the celestial stars above and examine the earth's veins below.
The "Heaven" scroll discusses matters related to celestial phenomena.
Regarding this part, Bai Jing further subdivided it into four volumes: 'Heaven', 'Stars', 'Phenomena', and 'Horoscopes' in all his "Tomb Records".
In reality, the content is largely the same; it's just that the "Lingpu" is more comprehensive because it was written by more talented and extraordinary people.
Immediately, Bai Jing returned the "Sixteen Characters" to Hu Bayi and then said, "I just flipped through it. Your book only has the Feng Shui volume and not the Yin Yang volume. But that's understandable. At least in our family, most family members only inherit the Feng Shui volume, while the Yin Yang volume is passed down for one generation and then stops for three generations."
In that case, even without tomb raiding, one could still make a living by practicing feng shui and fortune telling.
Hearing this, Hu Bayi was clearly taken aback; he didn't quite understand the implications.
Seemingly understanding Hu Bayi's doubts, Bai Jing pointed to the half-book in Hu Bayi's hand and said, "According to what is said in the tomb genealogy, if the succession of the Tomb Raider General is passed down within a family, then for each generation of the true Tomb Raider General, the next three generations in the family cannot accept the succession."
In other words, only one person out of every four generations can become the Tomb Raider. In my family, neither my grandfather nor my father engaged in tomb raiding, so in my generation, with only my eldest brother and me, my eldest brother also didn't want to do it, and the Tomb Raider Seal was passed down to me.
According to my grandfather, his eldest brother didn't believe in these things and insisted on learning the arts of Yin and Yang. However, on the very night he began learning them, he was struck by lightning and died.
Upon hearing this, Hu Bayi looked at Bai Jing with a strange expression, his eyes clearly conveying the message: Are you joking?
To be honest, Bai Jing himself wasn't entirely convinced at first.
But this world is too mysterious; it's better to believe it exists than not.
Therefore, Bai Jing did not dare to rashly pass on the Yin-Yang technique.
Fortunately, Bai Jing continued, "Yin-Yang magic is too sinister and should not be taken lightly. However, I can organize the contents of my family's Feng Shui and give you a copy if you want it."
Upon hearing this, Hu Bayi thought for a moment, shook his head, and said, "Forget it, I don't want to get involved in tomb raiding. You should keep it for yourself."
Upon hearing this, Bai Jing didn't say anything, but simply nodded.
To be honest, Bai Jing wasn't interested in the treasures in the tomb; he just enjoyed the feeling of adventure.
Hu Bayi suddenly remembered something and said, "Speaking of which, we are too inexperienced. That Huang Xiangu Temple we just visited must have been taken by someone else long ago."
Bai Jing nodded and said, "That's right. The entrance we went down into, and the hole where Fatty fell in, were both resealed after someone went in first."
However, we shouldn't underestimate ourselves. At least the tomb raider could only enter and exit through the "death gate." His inability to find the "life gate" exit at least demonstrates that he clearly didn't understand feng shui.
Chapter 15 The Forest Ranger Knocks on the Mountain
Hu Bayi nodded in agreement after hearing Bai Jing's words.
The tomb raider didn't encounter any danger in the tomb, or rather, he didn't encounter any weasels at all. Otherwise, if he had encountered what Bai Jing and the others encountered today, he might not have been able to escape alive.
Who knows how many blows that dead door took to create? How could it be like Bai Jing and Hu Bayi, who could simply lock onto the entrance and enter?
Of course, most tomb raiders are very careful in tombs and wouldn't dare to touch anything unless they are sure there's no problem.
