A comprehensive overview of tombs: starting with the Yellow Weasel's Tomb
Author: Grace
Bai Jing found himself seemingly transported to a world of tomb raiding.
This world contains not only the characters and objects from Ghost Blows Out the Light, but also the characters and objects from Tomb Raider Chronicles.
Bai Jing, on the other hand, comes from the Bai family, a family of tomb raiders.
It all began when Bai Jing arrived at Ganggangyingzi, carrying the seal of the tomb raider and the "Tomb Records".
PS: For now, only the stories of Ghost Blows Out the Light and Tomb Raider Notes are included, but at the same time, all the characters in Bachang's universe will also be covered.
This book lacks a systematic approach, though of course, there are some cheat codes.
Chapter 1 White Banner
"Old Bai, Old Bai, wake up!"
"Old Bai, if you don't get up soon, Fatty and I are leaving first!"
In a daze, I heard someone calling my name. Without even thinking, I knew who it was.
He slowly sat up in bed, then, without even opening his eyes, yawned and said, "Old Hu, Fatty, you guys are up early today. I haven't even gotten up yet, and you're already up."
Then, he opened his eyes and looked at the two young men beside him who were already dressed.
At this time, the sky was just beginning to brighten, and there were no lights on inside the house, so it was still a little dark, but it was already possible to see the surroundings clearly.
This is a house built with stone as the material and soil as the binder.
The ground of this house was made of compacted yellow earth.
It's obvious that this must be a relatively remote rural area.
The house was sparsely furnished, except for a few meters long earthen bed against the wall, a table, and a few stools.
Not far away, there was an iron stove, and on the stove, an aluminum kettle was bubbling and steaming.
It is clear that this is a relatively primitive house in the northern region.
He wasn't surprised at all, but instead looked at the two somewhat excited young men beside him.
These two men are named Hu Bayi and Wang Kaixuan.
That's right, it's the main character from Ghost Blows Out the Light.
To be honest, he wasn't originally from this world. He was born after the reform and opening up, and his life was relatively comfortable from a young age. However, when he was a teenager, his family suffered a tragedy, and both his parents passed away.
Fortunately, although his parents had passed away, they left him a large fortune.
And so, he smoothly grew up.
After graduating from university, I figured I had to find something to do.
However, after looking for several jobs, he couldn't find a suitable one. Finally, on the advice of a classmate, he decided to write a book.
But he had never written a book before, so he planned to find some books to read in the hopes of getting some inspiration.
As luck would have it, I read "Ghost Blows Out the Light," and once I started reading, I couldn't stop.
After finishing Ghost Blows Out the Light, I immediately went on to read all the other Ghost Blows Out the Light series by the same author, including the Underground series, Thief Cat, Four Gods Fight Three Demons series, Heavenly Pit series, 'I' series, and so on.
It was because of this that he stayed up all night reading novels that he eventually collapsed to the ground and lost consciousness.
When he woke up again, he found himself to have become a baby.
Most importantly, as I grew older, I realized that the world I lived in was actually the world of Ghost Blows Out the Light.
Or perhaps it's more accurately described as the world of Ghost Blows Out the Light, because we discovered that this world also includes things like the Crescent Hotel and the Nine Gates.
The Bai family, to which he belonged, was considered a family of tomb raiders.
Moreover, to be honest, my family's luck has always seemed to be pretty good.
Bai Yuhu, an ancestor of the Bai family, unintentionally obtained the "Tomb Records" and the "Seal of the Tomb Raiders." Leaving aside the Seal of the Tomb Raiders, the "Tomb Records" is also known as the "Sixty-Four Character Dragon-Seeking Secret," which is more powerful than Zhang Sanlian's...
The complete "Sixteen-Character Yin-Yang Feng Shui Secret Technique" is still available.
His grandfather, who was known as the eldest son of the Bai family when he was young, obtained the secret manual of "Measuring the Golden Ruler" and the "Golden Jade Ring" during a hunt for the Black Fox at Mouse Ridge.
This "Measuring the Golden Ruler" is a remarkable book that is no less impressive than the "Sixteen-Character Yin-Yang Feng Shui Secret Technique".
As for the Tomb Raider's Jade Pendant, it is a talisman specifically used to suppress corpses, and it is a treasure no less valuable than the Tomb Raider's Talisman.
Of course, the secret manual of "Measuring the Golden Ruler" and the "Golden Jade Ring" were both passed down by Grandpa to his eldest brother, Baiqi.
However, I ended up getting something better.
In this life, his father was named Bai Banla. When he was young, he consulted a strange man in Tianjin named Cui Laodao for fortune telling and was eventually tricked by Cui Laodao into joining the army.
Bai Banla never wanted to do tomb raiding. Before he was tricked into joining the army by Cui Laodao after his fortune telling, he gave his family's "Tomb Records" and tomb raiding seal to his sworn brother, Xia Laoyi.
This blind old man Yi can be considered a successor of the tomb raiding lineage. He was a disciple of Yang Fang, the master of the God-Slaying Whip, and Yang Fang's master was the famous tomb raider Jin Suanpan.
Because of his poor eyesight, Blind Old Yi did not engage in tomb raiding but instead made a living by swindling and cheating.
Later, during the Korean War, Bai Banla was wounded and retired from the army. He then married his mother, who first gave birth to his eldest brother, Bai Qi, and then, less than a year later, she became pregnant again.
During a visit to his father Bai Banla's sworn brother, Xia Laoyi, Xia Laoyi, despite his poor eyesight, recognized him as a rare tomb raiding genius and returned the "Tomb Records" and the tomb raiding seal to the Bai family.
Seeing his sworn brother's determination, Bai Banla did not force him.
Thus, the "Tomb Records" and the tomb-hunting seal returned to the Bai family's hands, or more accurately, to the Bai family's hands.
The grandfather knew that his grandson was probably destined to go down this path, so he simply found some old friends and gave him all sorts of training.
Bai Banla was injured during the Korean War, so his family was not greatly affected.
However, in response to the call, his father, Bai Banla, arranged for his elder brother, Bai Qi, and himself to go to work in remote and difficult areas.
The eldest brother, Baiqi, went to the Production and Construction Corps in Northeast China. When choosing his assigned location, he immediately spotted Ganggangyingzi, a place in Inner Mongolia near the Greater Khingan Mountains.
Fortunately, this is the capital city, so even if people cut in line, most of them choose places that aren't too remote. In the end, no one competed with them for this spot.
And so, several months have passed since I arrived at Ganggangyingzi.
Here, they met Hu Bayi and Wang Pangzi, who had come from Fujian to work in the countryside.
All three were sent-down youth and were descendants of soldiers, so naturally, they became very good friends.
At this moment, although she was woken up by the two so early, she was not angry. She was just a little puzzled. Didn't these two usually not get up until the sun was high in the sky? Why were they up so early today?
Suddenly, as if he had thought of something, he looked at the two of them and asked, "Are you two planning to go up the mountain again?"
Upon hearing this, both of them nodded excitedly.
Then Hu Bayi said, "Hey Lao Bai, we've been here for almost half a year now, and we haven't been into the mountains yet. Don't you want to go?"
Upon hearing this, she immediately pulled the blanket over herself and said, "I don't want to!"
Chapter 2 Catching the Winter Famine
Hearing Bai Jing's words, the fat man naturally wouldn't let it go. He quickly pulled Bai Jing up and said, "Old Bai, now that we've come to this place, we can't just sit around waiting to die. We should at least go up the mountain and prove ourselves, right?"
Hearing Fatty and Lao Hu's endless chatter, Bai Jing finally had no choice but to get up, get dressed, and follow the two out the door.
At that moment, Hu Bayi and Fatty Wang pulled Bai Jing along, preparing to go find the old Party Secretary to see if they could go up the mountain together.
Although it was clear that Hu Bayi and Fatty Wang really wanted to go up the mountain, Bai Jing knew that the old Party Secretary would most likely not agree.
These people all came from different places, unlike the locals who grew up in the mountains and are very familiar with the area. Therefore, even to ensure their safety, the Party Secretary would not allow them to go up the mountain at will.
You know, there are plenty of ferocious beasts like tigers and bears on this mountain. If something happens to them, how are we supposed to explain it to our superiors?
Therefore, although Bai Jing actually wanted to go up the mountain for fun, he didn't like to cause trouble for others, so he never brought it up.
At this moment, Bai Jing, pulled by Hu Bayi and Wang Pangzi, washed up and then went to the village entrance to find the old Party Secretary.
When Bai Jing and his two companions arrived, the old Party Secretary was giving instructions to the villagers who were about to go up the mountain.
"Everyone, remember this: it's not like home up here. The sun sets early, and the wind is quite strong. The roads are slippery when it snows, so be careful not to twist your ankle. When hunting during the day, be careful, and make sure to lock all the doors when you go to sleep at night."
Just as the old Party Secretary was giving instructions to the villagers going up the mountain, Bai Jing was pulled by Hu Bayi and Wang Pangzi to come behind the old Party Secretary.
Seemingly noticing the gazes of the villagers heading up the mountain, the old Party Secretary turned around in confusion and saw Bai Jing and the other two.
Immediately, the old Party Secretary asked, "Why are you three following me?"
Seeing that Bai Jing remained silent, Hu Bayi immediately spoke up, "Secretary, please assign some tasks to the three of us as well. Whether it's chopping wood or starting a fire, as long as we can get into the mountains, that's fine."
Hearing Hu Bayi speak first, Fatty Wang quickly added, "Yes, yes, either way is fine!"
Seeing the old Party Secretary's attitude, Bai Jing knew that the old Party Secretary would not agree with their idea.
Bai Jing immediately made no attempt to speak.
Sure enough, the old Party Secretary spoke up the next moment.
"Nonsense, go back!"
As he spoke, the old Party Secretary even picked up his pipe and took a puff of smoke.
