Chapter 11: Two Big Pitfalls

(Yangtze River Knight)

[Amidst flashes of lightning, the scene shifts to the area beneath the bridge.]

[Iskander was seen driving his divine wheel across the water, and as if he had seen something exciting, a bright smile appeared on his face.]

[The perspective shifts, and a strange, entirely black figure is lying in front of Iskandar's Kamui Wheel.]

The other person looked at Iskandar and revealed a mouthful of large gold teeth.

Weber: "Holy crap, who is this dark-skinned guy?!"

Rin Tohsaka: "Father, this must be a Heroic Spirit."

Tokiomi Tohsaka: "..."

He couldn't refute it, after all, the black man in the video didn't look like a normal person at all.

Kenneth: "Could they be spirits from Africa?"

Conqueror King: "Hahaha, so it was him."

Iskandar had already recognized the black man's identity, but he was a little puzzled as to why he was in this Holy Grail War, since he was not among the Seven Knights.

The scene shifts back to the other side of the bridge, where Irisviel and Artoria are watching the battle unfolding there.

Just then, a man wearing a red cloak and completely wrapped in bandages leaped out of the woods behind them and stabbed the woman with a knife.

[This video ends here.]

"who is it!"

Upon seeing that someone actually wanted to assassinate Irisviel, Kiritsugu Emiya immediately became vigilant.

Holding a dagger and engaging in sneak attacks and assassinations, that person must be an Assassin.

But why does it feel so familiar to him?

[How many Masters and Servants appeared in the video?]

Weber: "Why is it this kind of analytical question again?"

Kenneth: "What are you yelling about? This question is much easier than the last one."

Tokiomi Tohsaka: "Yes, the Master and Servant in the video are quite obvious."

“Simple? Ha…” Feng Xi almost burst out laughing.

This question has two major pitfalls that are guaranteed to trip up everyone in the group.

[Time's up, the quiz is over.]

[The answers will now be revealed.]

Then, the characters who had appeared in the video earlier began to appear on the screen, along with introductions.

[The three characters appearing in the first act, from left to right, are: Waver Velvet, Master; Lord El-Melloi II (Zhuge Liang), a pseudo-Servant; and Kenneth El-Melloi Archibald, Master.]

Kenneth: "Wait! El-Melloi II? What the hell!"

You should know that he is the current head of the El-Melloi family, so how did a second El-Melloi suddenly appear?

Moreover, what on earth is that Zhuge Liang and the pseudo-follower behind the other side?

Zhuge Liang, wasn't he the famous prime minister of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period?

Not only Kenneth, but the other group members were also confused by this El-Melloi II.

[The three characters appearing in Act II are: Mash Kyrielight, a Demi-Servant; Knight of the Yangtze River, a Servant; and Gilgamesh, a Servant.]

Waver: "A Sub-Servant? How come another Sub-Servant suddenly appeared!"

They hadn't even figured out the pseudo-Servant from before, and now another sub-Servant had appeared.

Artoria: "Mash Kyrielight, did I guess wrong? No!"

No, she could never mistake the shield in Mash's hand.

[The two figures appearing in Act III are: Iskandar, a Servant; and Darius III, a Servant.]

Conqueror King: "Hahaha, it really is that guy."

Weber: "Darius III, I remember him as..."

The Conqueror King: "That's right, he is a formidable opponent on my path of conquest."

Tokiomi Tohsaka: "Darius III, the last king of the Achaemenid dynasty of Persia, but how could he be so dark-skinned?"

Conqueror King: "I don't know either. He wasn't this dark-skinned when I defeated him."

Feng Xi: "Did you get this tanned from the Throne of Heroes?"

Weber: "Are you mistaking the Throne of Heroes for Hawaii?"

[The three characters appearing in Act IV are: Irisviel von Einzbern, Master; Artoria Pendragon, Servant; and Emiya (Assassin), Servant.]

"Emiya (Assassin)!"

Kiritsugu Emiya's mind jolted.

He had felt that the red figure looked familiar, and now he finally realized who it was.

Isn't that himself?

Although the man's face was wrapped in bandages, he couldn't mistake his figure and technique.

But why did he kill Irisviel?

Wait, no, that version of myself is a Heroic Spirit?

I've actually become a Heroic Spirit!

Even if he became a Heroic Spirit, why did he still try to kill Irisviel?

He could tell that he wasn't acting in the video; he genuinely wanted to kill Irisviel.

Wait a minute, it seems he's overlooked something again.

The Irisviel in the video is the Master!

That's impossible. Although I had Irisviel impersonate King Arthur's Master, King Arthur's true Master was still me. The system shouldn't be wrong about that.

After all, the previous question already revealed all seven Masters for this Holy Grail War, so why suddenly change the Master? Isn't that a contradiction?

Or perhaps the Servant of Irisviel's Contract is someone else entirely.

[A total of 4 Masters and 8 Servants appeared in this video.]

Waver: "Four Masters?"

Weber: "Wait a minute, aren't there three of them?"

[Lord El-Melloi II is both Master and Servant.]

Kenneth: "What does this mean? Explain it clearly."

Kenneth: "And who exactly is this El-Melloi II?"

[A pseudo-Servant is a Heroic Spirit that uses a human body as a vessel, possessing and operating within it, and the possessed person also gains the Heroic Spirit's power.]

[In general, pseudo-Servants are dominated by the consciousness of Heroic Spirits, and the human being possessed is usually in a dormant state. However, El-Melloi II is special. His consciousness is dominated by that of the human El-Melloi II, while the Heroic Spirit Zhuge Liang left his Spirit Origin and then entered a dormant state.]

[Therefore, El-Melloi II is both Master and Servant.]

Everyone was surprised after hearing the system's explanation.

Weber: "Is it possible to do it like this?!"

Tokiomi Tohsaka: "Is it truly possible for humans to obtain the power of Heroic Spirits?"

Chapter 12 Who is King Arthur?

(Artoria)

Kenneth: "What about that Sub-Servant? Is it the same as a Pseudo-Servant?"

[Demi-Servants are experimental creations of the future Chaldea, designed to grant humanity the power of Heroic Spirits.]

[The result was almost identical to that of El-Melloi II.]

Waver: "Chaldea? Never heard of it. Does the Mage's Association have such a department?"

Kenneth: "Don't even mention it, I've never heard of this department either. Is it a newly established department?"

Magician Killer: "System, the development of the second question seems to be somewhat different from the first question."

Kenneth: "Magic Killer, you haven't changed your name yet?"

Kenneth: "Stop pretending. I already know who you are. After all, you have a notorious reputation in the magician world."

Magician Killer: "..."

Seeing that he had been exposed, Kiritsugu Emiya stopped trying to hide it and changed his name back to his real name.

[Of course there will be some differences, because the stories in the first and second questions come from two different parallel worlds of the Holy Grail War.]

Weber: "Parallel worlds! Do they really exist?!"
