Fairy Tail: I Am the God
Page 515
The attack speed of the zombie Flower Sister is obviously quite terrifying.
If he hadn't already seen her somewhat inconvenient leg beforehand, Kidd might have even wondered if she had evolved some kind of spring-like organ under her feet.
Compared to Sister Huahua!
His puppet's strength was indeed somewhat disappointing.
Even if forcibly provoked, it would be far from enough to deal with this "flower sister" head-on.
The moment the scissors were about to stab his head, Kidd had already reached the above conclusion, and his reaction was almost instantaneous.
"Hahahaha, you weak scumbag, just wait to be cut in half! You dared to do that to me, after you die, I'll personally swallow the back of your head! Huh? Wait! What are you doing!"
Just as Xiaoyue'er's mouth was freed and she was laughing incessantly, she suddenly cried out in surprise.
Given the speed of the Kidd Corpse Puppet, it was impossible for him to dodge the scissors. However, he made another move that was more effective than dodging: he used the little moon he was carrying as a shield and swung it directly at the scissors.
"Ahhh! Sister Huahua! It's me! It's me!"
Little Moon's tone didn't show much fear, but she still screamed hysterically.
She tried to struggle, but with her legs held tightly by Kidd and her upper body leaning back sharply, her flailing arms couldn't even touch a single hair on Ling Mo's head.
Even if you have the skills of an advanced zombie, it's meaningless if you can't use them.
"when!"
The cold light darted to the side just in time, narrowly missing Xiaoyue'er's short hair.
The zombie Sister Flower suddenly appeared two meters away, looking down at Kidd with a gloomy expression: "You deserve to die! You deserve to die! What you did was just like what a human does! I hate humans the most, I hate..."
Her tone started as a soft murmur, but at the last sentence it suddenly rose, becoming sharp and piercing: "I hate humans the most! Ah!"
The zombie Flower Sister disappeared again. Kidd had calmly pressed himself against the wall, while holding Little Moon's legs tightly and swinging them rapidly in front of him.
His movements were extremely precise and decisive, without the slightest hesitation, and he showed no intention of stopping.
Because of her backward-leaning posture, Xiaoyue could see Kidd's blank face every fraction of a second.
"Ah! That damn scumbag, I'm going to have my sister kill him! Stop it right now!"
Kidd's sharp eyes caught the flashes of cold light around him, and he said calmly, "Fine, make her stop first."
“But…but she…is angry…” Little Yue’er cried out haltingly, “She won’t…listen to me…”
“But at least she won’t hurt you, right?” Kidd said.
"That's right! Hey! What are you trying to do now!"
Little Moon cried out again, her eyes wide.
“It’s obvious,” Kidd said, swinging Little Moon around as he moved quickly along the wall. “We need to find a way to escape.”
He hadn't moved far when Kidd caught sight of a door out of the corner of his eye. He immediately sped up and moved over, kicking the door shut the instant he burst through it.
"Your Yueyue is right behind the door!" he called out promptly.
Little Yue'er, who had been pulled back under Kid's arm, looked at him in astonishment and stammered, "You...you're lying?"
“Yes,” Kidd nodded readily, “but she doesn’t know that. So, this will probably buy her a few tens of seconds to a minute.”
Chapter 636 The Warehouse You Can't Enter
"you you you……"
Kidd quickly glanced around, then immediately rushed toward another door.
"corridor?"
After pushing open the door, there was another dark and cold corridor.
Unlike before, this corridor looks much cleaner.
There are no doors on either side, only an elevator box next to the door.
This elevator door also looks different from ordinary elevators. There is a faded notice on the door, and you can still make out a few printed words: "Freight vehicles are not allowed to ride passengers."
"That's a freight elevator!" Kidd immediately turned to look at the other end of the corridor. "Is that the warehouse over there?"
"We can't go there!"
Little Moon suddenly cried out.
Kidd glanced down at her, only to find that the little zombie immediately averted her gaze, her eyes still wide open.
"Can you stop making that 'my worldview is completely shattered' look on your face? Besides, why can't we go?"
Kidd asked.
"In short, I can't go," Xiaoyue said, her head down.
"No reason? Then I can't listen."
Kidd immediately started walking.
"Ahhh! We can't go!" Little Yue'er shook herself violently, struggling as she said, "The soldiers can come out early, but it can't."
"I see." Kidd nodded, showing no intention of stopping.
Those two doors couldn't possibly contain the zombie Sister Flower; letting her in would only cause losses to the farm.
This was a perfectly easy thing for him to do, so why would he miss it?
Unfortunately, Xiaoyue doesn't understand this!
Even if her intelligence has evolved very well, it is unlikely that she would have acquired more mature thinking abilities at the age of six or seven.
"What's wrong with Sister Flower? Why would she hate humans?" Kidd asked casually.
As Xiaoyue anxiously watched Kidd approach, she instinctively replied, "She's been caught before."
"what?"
Kidd was genuinely stunned this time. He paused for two seconds, then hurriedly asked, "What do you mean by being caught?"
"She was caught by humans!" Little Moon squirmed and shouted impatiently. "That's how her leg got damaged! Those humans always try to sneak in, but they rarely succeed after Pudge came along."
"There's a lot of information here. Who is Pudge? That butcher?" Kidd appeared calm on the surface, but his mind was racing.
There were human survivors spying on them from outside, and this Flower Girl had been captured by humans, which made Kidd think twice.
He didn't believe those survivors were searching for food in Linhua City. The entire city was now under the control of this so-called "sister," and Luofu Company was their stronghold. Even if those survivors were stupid, they wouldn't come here.
What exactly is it about Louvre that attracts them?
Kidd's mind raced, piecing together all the information he knew, and he came to four conclusions.
Firstly, this zombie named Huahua was once captured by humans and suffered irreparable damage due to various experiences, resulting in serious physical and mental problems for her.
Moreover, these are not ordinary injuries. No matter how fiercely a human resists, in the eyes of a zombie, they are just a troublesome prey.
It's unlikely that someone would treat their prey this way unless they had an unusually bad memory.
Secondly, the humans who captured Huahua had approached this place many times, attempting to achieve similar or other purposes, and may have even succeeded in some cases, such as those who spied on them.
Thirdly, the failure rate of these humans increased significantly after the appearance or birth of the Pudge, indicating that the Pudge is very strong.
Fourthly, only Pudge stopped these humans. Before him, the master of this place had never made a move, perhaps because he disdained to do so, or perhaps because he was unable to.
A "city lord" who can control all the zombies in the area—dealing with them is a piece of cake.
"So, those two human brood pouches I saw in the nursery were their most recently sacrificed members? But why would that be? Survivors usually avoid contact with such dangerous zombies, right? Unless there's something too good to be true."
Kidd narrowed his eyes, a fierce glint in them.
"How often do those humans appear?" Kidd asked to confirm.
Without hesitation, Xiaoyue replied, "We don't know. We wouldn't know if they didn't come in."
"So, does that mean the zombies inside will know if any outsiders break in?"
A glint of light flashed in Kidd's eyes.
He had noticed that the little zombie would not refuse to answer unless he asked more crucial questions.
Perhaps she was trying to buy time and prevent Kidd from entering the warehouse.
of course!
It could just be because she's simply a bit slow-witted, like that silly little girl Lin Ke'er.
“Yes…” Xiaoyue’er had just finished answering when she suddenly came to her senses and quickly shook her head.
But Kidd couldn't help but chuckle to himself, while turning his gaze to an iron gate that appeared in front of him.
I still believe she is the same as Lin Ke'er.
This is a sliding door, and judging from the material, it seems quite heavy. There is a sign on the door that reads "No unauthorized personnel allowed."
It's worth mentioning that the character "等" (wait) was covered with blood, which subtly changed the meaning of the text.
"You can't go in!"
Little Moon is still trying to stop them in vain.
“If you hadn’t led me down here, I wouldn’t have found this place so quickly,” Kidd said.
