Kidd looked at the group and said, "Relax, we mean no harm. We just want to find a place to rest. But, can I say hello to your boss now?"

The middle-aged man in camouflage glanced at the frail-looking Kidd, pondered for a moment, nodded, and agreed.

These three young people were dressed strangely and didn't look like survivors of the apocalypse at all. They were also so strong that only the captain could make the decision.
