They never intended to make any deals in the first place, and Lukwood was actually the same way back then. However, not only was Lukwood incompetent, but he also underestimated the fairies.
If Cyrus hadn't appeared, they probably wouldn't have escaped being killed by the fire dragon either.
“Let those wizards know that we are not ugly fairies!” Bodrick raised his arm.
Hundreds of fairies clenched their fists together!
"We are not ugly fairies!"
The sound, like a tidal wave, shattered the screen.
Cyrus appeared in another room, this time without as many fairies. Bodrick was dressed neatly, even in a suit jacket, but due to his unusual size, he looked rather out of place.
Several goblins stood before him, one of whom was Doklo.
“Doklo, I’ve found a suitable partner, and I need you to contact them.” Bodrick pushed Lanlock’s manuscript in front of Doklo. “They are descendants of the Lukwood family, whose ancestors were once guardians of ancient magic. I think they will be interested in this.”
Doklo picked up the manuscript and began to read it.
Cyrus slowly walked over, and only now could he see the contents of the manuscript clearly.
“You take them to that coastline in Scotland, where there’s a tower ruin. Adora will lay in ambush there with his fire dragons,” Bodrick said.
"But how do we convince them?"
“Lanlock’s manuscripts record some bloody rituals, a method that allows traces of ancient magic to be revealed. He probably used this method to search for ancient magic in the first place,” Bodrick said.
"Unfortunately, there's much more I can't decipher. It seems Lanlock eventually mastered the power of ancient magic, as the contents of the manuscript are completely unreadable. Most importantly, the whereabouts of Vault 12 remain unknown."
"Back then, Lanlock planned to attack the Silent One at the Ministry of Magic and steal the key to Vault 12, but now that he has disappeared, the key is also gone. I'm afraid the ancient magic is hidden inside Vault 12."
"It's a pity we don't have the key; even we can't open the vault," Doklo said bitterly. "Those wizards sanctimoniously told us they'd give us complete control of the vault, but what's the reality? Ridiculous! We need their permission to open it!"
His face was contorted with rage, as if everything stored in Gringotts belonged to the goblins.
Cyrus already knew that there were clues to ancient magic in Vault 12, otherwise he wouldn't have gone to such lengths to find the key to Vault 12.
However, Cyrus could see things that the fairies could not.
Under his watchful eye, Lanlock's manuscript no longer held any secrets.
"He actually left the key to Vault 12 at Pig's Head Bar?" Cyrus asked, looking utterly astonished.
Who would have thought that after obtaining the key to Vault 12, Lanlock would actually place that key inside the bloody pig's head that had existed for who knows how many years at the entrance of the Pig's Head Bar?
More importantly, Lanlock himself had entered Vault 12, and the manuscript stated that there was nothing he wanted in the vault, only a few "ghosts" who claimed to be guardians.
It's not hard to imagine that those guardians would entrust the secrets of ancient magic to Lanlock, a fairy!
Having suffered greatly in the vault, Lanlock hid the key in the Hog's Head Tavern and then disappeared with his fairy armor. The manuscript contained no further secrets.
Even so, Cyrus still planned to go and take a look at Vault 12.
Unlike Lanlock, he is someone who can inherit the abilities of ancient magic, and he can become the new guardian.
Memories are fragmented.
Cyrus slowly opened his eyes.
Reality is obviously different from the game. In the game, the Twelve Vaults are more like a tutorial dungeon, but in reality, such a secure vault could not possibly contain only a Pensieve.
The guardians went to such lengths, could it be that they just wanted to preserve a memory?
That would be ridiculous.
“Now that we know where the key is, the problem is how to get it out right under Aberforth’s nose,” Cyrus thought.
Aberforth was a very powerful wizard.
While his abilities may be far inferior to his brother Albus Dumbledore, he was able to participate in the battle between Dumbledore and Grindelwald during his school years, clearly demonstrating his formidable magical power.
He failed to become a famous wizard, which Cyrus believed was not due to a lack of talent, but rather because he had wasted too much time.
Even so, his strength surpasses that of most Aurors.
Cyrus believed that Aberforth's strength was probably about the same as his current strength.
“None of those named Dumbledore are easy to mess with,” Cyrus thought of Aberforth’s son, Cressdon. His powerful magic even allowed him to control the Obscurus within him.
The phoenix beside Dumbledore may very well have originally belonged to Cresden.
Having obtained the secret he wanted to know, Cyrus didn't linger any longer and immediately Apparated to Hogsmeade.
Pig Head Bar is still the same as always, except that business has been really bad lately.
Three brooms are fine, since there are hardly any dark wizards there. But in the Hog's Head, there are probably eleven out of ten customers who are not to be trifled with—the extra one might be hiding in someone's head, or cut into pieces and packed in a box—Aurors and Dementors searched all night, and no one was willing to take the risk.
Aberforth didn't care about this at all.
He doesn't care whether he has business or not.
As long as a wizard can still wield a wand, he'll never have to worry about food.
He sat silently at the bar, pouring a drink for an old wizard who had lost all his teeth. The old wizard casually glanced at "The Quibbler," occasionally cracking a smile.
He was the only guest these past few days.
Aberforth couldn't remember when this old wizard started coming here to drink day after day, and even the daily patrols of the Dementors couldn't affect him.
Aberforth didn't think much of it, because at that moment the bar door was opened again.
He grumbled unhappily, "It's not your patrol time yet."
"Sorry, but I'm not a Dementor."
A wizard stood outside the door.
Aberforth looked up from beneath his gray hair and saw a stranger.
"How about a glass of brandy? It would be even better if you could add some fresh dragon's blood."

Chapter 129 Voldemort
The new guest appeared to be a young man, but his complexion was rather poor; he was very pale.
The old man who was reading the newspaper looked up, squinted, and said softly, "An old friend is back." But Aberforth couldn't recall ever seeing such a face in his bar.
In fact, most of the wizards who come here do not reveal their true faces.
“Just call me Worth.” The pale-faced young wizard nodded to Aberforth and the old wizard, then casually found a seat.
"A glass of brandy, preferably with some dragon's blood."
“No,” Aberforth said in a low voice.
"No dragon blood?"
"No dragon's blood, no brandy. Just butterbeer and flaming whiskey." He said it as if he didn't care whether he drank it or not.
“Then I’ll have some fire whiskey. It’s raining outside, I need to warm myself up.” Walls stretched and leaned back in his chair, then took out the Daily Prophet from his pocket. He pretended to read it, but his eyes kept darting between Aberforth and the old wizard.
It seemed he would rather talk to them.
But the old wizard only glanced at him when he came in, and immediately became engrossed in reading his own work.
Wols was speechless. He could only wait until Aberforth came over with his glass of wine before putting down his newspaper and saying to the familiar, dirty bartender, "Do they have any leads? I mean Sirius Black and Tom Riddle."
"No," Abu Fusi replied simply, having no interest in conversation.
Wols wasn't about to let him off so easily. He flicked the newspaper, the paper making a sharp, jarring sound that was particularly jarring in the quiet bar.
“I heard he was here? Tom Riddle.”
“Perhaps. The Ministry of Magic said he might have been staying in Hogsmeade all along, but I haven’t seen him,” Aberforth said.
“The Ministry of Magic is utterly incompetent,” the old wizard, who had also overheard their conversation, chimed in. “The goblins and dark wizards are colluding, clearly plotting another rebellion. Yet they’re negotiating with the goblins. It’s as if those greedy, cunning creatures would admit that the dead goblins were their henchmen.”
“We suppressed a rebellion hundreds of years ago, only to end up handing over Gringotts. I think they might as well just give up the Ministry of Magic too!” the old wizard sneered.
Walls did not continue discussing this topic.
It is obvious that whoever has the bigger fist holds the power.
He only cared about two things: Tom Riddle's whereabouts and ancient magic.
His gaze returned to the newspaper, where the Daily Prophet clearly explained the previous incident. Tom Riddle had acted much more publicly than Sirius Black after his prison break.
However, everything a person does must have a reason; he wouldn't attack the Ministry of Magic without a cause unless he wanted something. Considering the Scottish Highlands incident, his goal was clearly ancient magic.
Walls was not surprised that Tom Riddle wanted to obtain the secrets of ancient magic.
after all……
That was power that almost killed me.
He lowered his head, his facial features contorted, and another face flashed by, its dim, yellowish pupils slanted upwards, like a cold-blooded animal. He was none other than Voldemort.
After leaving Albania for the second time, he returned all the way to England in order to find another "self".
He was eager to know how the fragment of the soul within the Horcrux had come back to life. He'd never heard of such a thing happening when he created the Horcrux.
The purpose of a Horcrux is to ensure that the user does not die, but now, a fragment of a soul seems to have taken over.
