The Phoenix Force is a cosmic energy, one of the most powerful entities in the universe, but not the strongest or only entity. In the comics, the Phoenix Force was once devoured by the ancient demon god Seth. This is not to say that Seth is stronger than the Phoenix Force, but to say that although the Phoenix Force is powerful, it is not as powerful as the Heart of the Universe, to the point that it is uncounterable.

The Phoenix Force typically chooses a specific creature as its host. Many superheroes on Earth, especially mutants, have served as hosts of the Phoenix Force. In the Marvel event "Avengers vs. X-Men," Iron Man used the Anti-Phoenix Armor to split the Phoenix Force into five parts. These five parts were attached to Cyclops, the White Queen, Colossus, Magik, and Namor, becoming the Phoenix Five. Ultimately, the Avengers and X-Men joined forces to defeat the Phoenix Five, and Hope and Wanda then released the Phoenix Force.

The five apostles were defeated by a group of superheroes working together, so the difference in their abilities wasn't apparent. In the later Marvel event "Secret Wars," Cyclops obtained the Phoenix Force by himself, but he was instantly killed by God Lord Doom, who possessed power surpassing that of the gods.

Of all the Phoenix Force's hosts, only Jean Grey and Hope can unleash its full power, but even then, it's not the complete Phoenix Force. Jean Grey's strongest form is the White Phoenix, capable of severing and reshaping the universe's timeline. In the comics *New X-Men*, Jean Grey's death led to Beast's tyrannical rule over Earth, eliminating all opposition. Ultimately, the resurrected White Phoenix Jean Grey severed the universe's timeline, reshaping it and restoring normalcy.

The White Phoenix rebooted the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and reshaping the universe is far more powerful than destroying it. However, what shocked everyone was the cause of White Phoenix Jean Grey's death. She was killed by Magneto with a planetary-level electromagnetic pulse.

You read that right. A person with the ability to reshape the universe was killed by planetary-level power. In other words, the strongest Phoenix Force host could be killed with planetary-level power. This was purely a plot device and shouldn't be recorded in historical records, otherwise the power scaling would be inconsistent.

In the cinematic universe, the Ancient One died between two of her disciples; who dares to say she was weak? Following this logic, Natasha could easily defeat the Ancient One, using her agility and movement to kill her in close combat. Her snake-like movements would make Natasha's scalp tingle.

Therefore, it is absurd that Bai Fenghuang died from Magneto's planetary-level power, and Ye Ritian cannot agree with it! Bai Fenghuang died entirely due to plot, and this part of history cannot be verified at all.

In conclusion, the complete Phoenix Force has never appeared. To date, no complete version of the Phoenix Force has appeared in Marvel comics. It has only appeared in the form of "fragments" in the comics. The amount of energy contained in the complete version of the Phoenix Force is still unknown.

The Phoenix Force is one of the oldest powers in Marvel Comics, on par with the Chaos Force and the Fairy Force. At its peak, it grants omnipotent, universe-level power, capable of easily defeating even the Living Tribunal.

Stopping his thoughts, Ye Ritian ceased dwelling on them and headed towards the next hell, Lucifer.

Lord of Hell, Demon Lucifer

The Dark Prince, a demon king who appears mostly in the Ghost Rider comics, is the leader of the fallen angels and owns his own hell. He once dragged Ghost Rider Johnny into his hell, but released Johnny to deal with Zandkil. His strength is unknown, but half of his power was taken down by an ordinary Ghost Rider, so he doesn't seem very powerful.

He wore a long veil over his head, and his wrists and shorts were all purple. His chest, abdomen, thighs, hamstrings, arms, and hands were all red, making his attire quite unique.

Not being very well-known, Ye Ritian didn't even bother going, simply sending Superman's Sword alone into the depths of hell to kill him with a single strike. It truly disgraces the name of Lucifer; the Lucifer in the DC universe is incredibly powerful.

On the contrary, Marvel has tarnished the name!

Towards the next lord of hell, the demon Satannish

Satannish is a demon lord born alongside Mephisto, and like Mephisto, he is a high-ranking lord of Hell. Satannish is a formidable enemy of heroes like Doctor Strange. He also serves Dormammu and helped Dormammu defeat Mephisto and conquer Hell in his colonization plan. However, their plan was discovered by Hellstorm and Hellcat. Hellstorm rallied other Hell lords and the rulers of the underworld to defeat Dormammu. As Dormammu fled, Satannish was shattered by a magical ray from Mephisto. Of course, as a powerful Hell lord, Satannish was later resurrected in the comics. Now, with the main universe greatly changed, many things are shrouded in mystery. It feels like a difficult situation.

Ye Ritian's eyes were calm. Another unknown demon. Let Superman's Sword kill him and send him to the next hell.

…………

Ye Ritian thought to himself, it seems there's another version of the story about the Spirit of Vengeance. It's related to a person called (the demon Zatanos).

Zarathos is a demonic elemental lord who was active on Earth 20,000 years ago. He was later sealed away by the Spirit of Vengeance, a messenger of the gods. He was only released two thousand years ago by a tribe. Zarathos feeds on human souls, which somewhat overlaps with the character of Mephisto, Marvel's most famous demon.

Mephisto thus saw Zalthanos as a potential adversary, and ultimately devised a plan to defeat him, erasing his memories and enslaving his soul. The Ghost Rider's immense power stems from Mephisto's possession of Zalthanos's soul within them.

Ye Ritian sighed. There were too many versions of the Spirit of Vengeance, but he still firmly believed in the God version. After all, it was not only more prestigious, but also the widely circulated and popular version, and everyone agreed with it.

Next, Ye Ritian, along with a thousand clones, Deadpool, and Hulk, swept through several weak demons. They even encountered Doctor Strange's girlfriend's mother, his mother-in-law demon, who had appeared in the movies; killing her was no surprise. In the comics, this woman has a powerful background; she's Dormammu's younger sister.

Lord of Hell, the demon Marduk.

Marduk is a high-ranking lord of hell, whose origins remain unknown. He is also one of the demons in Marvel who most frequently uses the name Satan. Marduk is primarily an enemy of the Defenders and rarely appears outside of this role, but his power remains unfathomable.

Lord of Hell, Demon D'Spayre

One sword kills, next.

Lord of Hell, Demon Dweller-In-Darkness

The previous universe destroyer, without whom there would be no Marvel Universe or the five cosmic entities we know today, is Dweller-In-Darkness. He is a demon from an extradimensional dimension who, in the existence of the previous universe, stole the crystal that sustained the universe and fought against the Phoenix Force. This battle nearly destroyed that universe, leading to the Living Tribunal triggering the Big Bang and creating the universe we know today.

Superman's sword, slaughtered.

Ye Ritian was speechless, wondering if anyone could fight him.

Lord of Hell, Nightmare of Demons

Nightmare was once merely Shuma's subordinate, but later escaped to the Dream Dimension and became its master, drawing energy and sustenance from the fear of living beings. He has fought many superheroes, including Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, and Hulk. Nightmare once imprisoned Eternity, but also suffered numerous defeats. While Nightmare's power may not be the strongest among demon lords, he remains a terrifying demon, and as long as dreams and imagination exist in the universe, he will endure forever.

What's there to say? Just kill him with one sword.

…………

Ye Ritian yawned and continued forward.

Deadpool was incredibly bored, and Hulk's temper had completely worn off. Seriously, wasn't there anyone who could fight back? There are many demons in Marvel's Hell, but only a few are famous, and in the end, they encountered only unknown demons.

Ye Ritian continued forward to the next hell, where he saw the demon Shuma-Gorath (P.S.: all the demons have English names, I didn't type them in English on purpose).

Shuma-Gorath is the ruler of an extra dimension and the leader of the Great Old Ones in Marvel. He is one of Doctor Strange's greatest enemies. Shuma-Gorath's power is unfathomable. Before invading the main universe 616, he had already devoured hundreds of universes, and only the creator god Genesis was able to seal him away. Even if he cannot devour 616, he will continue to try. Shuma's power is so great that even the powerful magical entity Vishanti dares not face it directly. So don't be fooled by his cute big eyes; he is absolutely a terrifying monster.

Ye Ritian saw that this demon was a cold-blooded animal, a snake, with a snake-like head and a head surrounded by hedgehog-like barbs, which was very terrifying and bizarre.

Huh? Planetary/cosmic level, Hulk, you go.

Ye Ritian said calmly, "Good dog, it's time for you to perform."

"Roar!"

Hulk was seething with anger, and when he saw the strange snake, he charged at it.

The serpent demon spewed out sharp barbs at Hulk. Hulk roared, but the barbs didn't even pierce his skin. Hulk picked it up and tore it apart, finally crushing it to dust. The demon died!

Ye Ritian was speechless. It was getting boring if they kept fighting like this.

Keep going, hoping for a surprise ahead!

A thousand clones, Deadpool, and Hulk follow.

Chapter 78 Ye Ritian and Deadpool's Deaths

They walked for a long time without finding a single demon.

…………

Sensing the nearby dimensional hell, he used the Space Stone to open a wormhole rift and entered, with Deadpool and his clone following closely behind.

As soon as Ye Ritian landed, he saw that the sky was a strange, multicolored black, a colorful and dark darkness, much like the sky color of the Dormammu dimension.

Just when Ye Ritian thought he had arrived in the Dormammu dimension, a huge demon appeared in front of him.

Ye Ritian froze, knowing who it was. His expression turned serious as he said to Deadpool and Hulk, "Be careful, this demon is very powerful, more powerful than any demon we've ever encountered! Stay strong, don't look into its eyes unless you can withstand its mental attacks."

Upon hearing this, Deadpool became serious, looking at the demon before him. Its appearance was bizarre and extremely terrifying, and Deadpool instinctively felt a sense of fear.

Hulk is still the same, mindlessly roaring.

"Roar!"

Hulk has a high-class background, so it's normal that he doesn't take this Eye Demon seriously. Of course, it's also possible that he's brainless.

This demon is called the Eye Demon. It comes from an evil dimension outside the realm. Its name is unthinkable, unthinkable, and unutterable. It is a demon second only to the creator god. Its strength is bizarre. It can control anyone's mind and is the strongest among all demons.

The Eye Demon's real name is Shuma Glass, a confirmed Cthulhu Mythos villain boss in Marvel.

The Eye Demon is merely a nickname based on its "giant one-eyed creature with multiple tentacles" appearance; Shuma Glass is its real name. In one Marvel universe, it boasts quite a distinguished record and achievements:

It once dominated the Earth during the Jurassic period.

It was this that led to the death of the Ancient One.

It also led to Doctor Strange's death.

Its disciples once brought crisis to the X-Men.

It has visited many world lines.

It has fought against multiple opponents on numerous occasions, clashing with superheroes such as the Avengers.

Ye Ritian felt a bit tricky thinking about the Eye Demon Shuma's historical record; this was the strongest demon he had ever encountered.

Multiverse level, Eye Demon Shuma

The ability to extract energy and magic from others, or to generate magic on one's own, and to travel through time and space.

It has destroyed countless hell lords; it is the Lord of Chaos. Its status is far higher than Satan or Cyttorak. This is definitely a top-tier boss.

Hulk rushed forward and threw a punch, but was instantly bound tightly by the Eye Demon's tentacles and unable to move!

Ye Ritian's eyes darkened. This time, he might die. His Doomsday ability had been activated, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to kill this thing.

Deadpool, wielding his twin blades, teleported and slashed down. The Beholder couldn't react in time and had one of its tentacles cut off by Deadpool.

The tentacles are healing themselves at a slow pace.

Seeing this, Ye Ritian immediately understood. Deadpool was also at the multiverse level, but Ye Ritian couldn't estimate whether Deadpool could defeat the Eye Demon. Once he was entangled, it would be all over. Theoretically, Deadpool could also unleash omnipotent universe-level combat power, but that was unstable.

We can't pin our hopes on him; we have to rely on ourselves. Ye Ritian took a deep breath. The Eye Demon's self-healing speed was slow. Was it Deadpool's twin blades that were working, or was its self-healing ability simply inadequate? Perhaps we could start from that angle! Ye Ritian pondered carefully.

Deadpool saw the tentacles coming at him and immediately chopped off another one. Seeing this, Beholder immediately unleashed five or six more tentacles to attack.

Deadpool quickly dodged and teleported. Running was useless at this point; teleportation was the only option. Unless you had the speed of the Flash, you couldn't run.

Ye Ritian watched Deadpool dodge the tentacles, lost in thought. In cartoons, these tentacles are the easiest to deal with. In Tom and Jerry, the mouse outmaneuvers the cat, letting the cat get tangled in its own tail. And in The Adventures of Little Carp, the rascal snake gets its scalp tingling from Bubble's agile movements, ultimately ending up tangled in its own tail.

The Eye Demon has many tentacles and is theoretically fast enough. If it attacks itself, its tentacles can entangle and bind it, thus restricting its own power and reducing its combat strength by more than half.

Thinking of this, Ye Ritian felt it was feasible; this method really worked. He said to Deadpool...

"Deadpool, let's keep teleporting around its eyes, letting its tentacles surround us and bind us tightly. As long as we restrict its tentacles, its fighting power will be halved, and we'll both be immune to its mental attacks."

"We just need to dodge; we don't want to retaliate. If we can't teleport in time, we'll just cut off another tentacle. We're not afraid of its long tentacles; we're afraid it won't have enough tentacles, understand?!"

Deadpool said without turning his head:

"OK, all we need to do is teleport. You go southeast, and I'll go northwest."

Ye Ritian nodded: "OK! You rescue Hulk first, leave him aside, and we'll fight."
