“I saw everything deep in the forest when you and your brother Clark Kent were reeking of insects at the edge of the forest.”

Kayla told everything without reservation.

She has now determined which of the two brothers is Namar!

After listening to her story, David's eyes flashed, connecting everything. She saw that he and Clark had displayed extraordinary abilities when they dealt with Gary, which was why Kayla was secretly paying attention to him and Clark.

Ever since that party, he had felt from time to time that someone was secretly watching him and Clark on campus.

"Since you've been able to keep your mouth shut all these days."

I hope you can too.

David said coldly, a dangerous glint in his eyes, making no attempt to hide his warning, before turning to leave.

"If you don't want me to come to your door and never be able to speak again."

"Wait a minute, Nama."

Seeing David about to leave, Kayla quickly said, "You must be careful of your brother."

“My name is not Nama.”

The strange form of address made David pause, and he tilted his head slightly: "Also, why should I be wary of Clark?"

Although Clark has been a bit of a nuisance lately, worrying about this and that and keeping a close eye on him to prevent him from going down a dangerous path, it shouldn't be to the point where he needs to be careful.

This Kayla was strange from head to toe, and the way she looked at him was also abnormal, with a burning desire in her eyes that seemed to belong to a loyal believer who wanted to follow him.

“In our tribe’s legends, you are called Nama.”

Your brother's name is Sergei.

“Nama, Sergai?”

David turned his head in confusion, not understanding what she was talking about.

"What tribal legend?"

"Our Kavachi tribe has a long history, dating back five hundred years. Five hundred years ago, a man from another planet fell in love with our tribe's mother. Because of this forbidden love, our tribe was born."

Facing David, Kayla slowly recounted the secret history of her people, her face filled with long-suppressed excitement.

"On the day he left, he flew into the sky and left a prophecy that five hundred years later, his people would be born with heavenly fire, named Nama, to stop his brother Sergei from destroying the Kavachi tribe and the world."

"Aside from the alien planet part, it's a legend with a very primitive flavor."

But that has nothing to do with me.

David raised an eyebrow and walked away.

He was quite certain that he was not Nama, and that Sergei, whom Kayla spoke of as the one who would destroy the world, could not be Clark.

"I am a native Earthling."

"According to legend, Nama's characteristics are not limited to being born with heavenly fire."

Kayla caught up and said quickly.

"Moreover, he possesses strength that surpasses that of ten men combined, and the gaze emanating from his eyes can burn everything."

“You meet all of these criteria, David!”

There has always been speculation within the clan that the meteor shower accompanied by flames seventeen years ago coincided with the time of the prophecy, and wondered if it was the legendary Heavenly Fire.

That day in the forest, after seeing that the two brothers, David and Clark, both possessed extraordinary strength, Kayla, filled with doubt, began to make a guess.

A pair of brothers with extraordinary powers, one of whom has purple skin and doesn't look like an earthling. Could they be the brothers from the prophecy?

“After I saw you in the forest, I kept watching you, trying to determine which one of you was Namar and which one was Sergai.”

As she spoke, she demonstrated her abilities to show David that she was not a madwoman.

Kayla's hands transformed into pure white wolf claws.

“Until just now, when I saw the light shooting from your eyes melt the earth into magma, I confirmed your identity. You are the prophesied savior Namar!”

"A wolf? The strange tales that have been circulating in this town about a giant white wolf roaming the forest at night, could it be referring to you?"

Seeing her wolf claws, David stopped in his tracks, somewhat surprised.

As for the legends Kayla told him, he listened to them casually as just stories, without much emotional reaction.

Perhaps aliens, alien tribes, or even prophecies that aliens will come back to Earth are all true, but they definitely have nothing to do with him.

"This is the meeting of destinies, Nama."

I am the daughter of the Kavachi chieftain, and I possess a bracelet left by the tribe's mother. It was I who discovered you.

The prophesied one that the tribe had been waiting for for five hundred years appeared, and Keira, with a heroic air between her brows, was convinced that David was Namar.

She raised her hand with excitement, revealing a beautiful silver bracelet on her wrist that looked like it was inlaid with turquoise.

"I will wholeheartedly and without reservation assist you in defeating your evil brother Clark and helping you stop him from destroying the world!"

Chapter 45. After Tomorrow, It Will No Longer Be a Problem

Evil Clark?

David looked puzzled, as this was the first time he had heard such a statement.

Clark should really be here to hear these words and experience what it's like to be treated like a criminal.

"The legends passed down in your tribe have nothing to do with me."

No longer intending to give Kayla a chance to entangle him, David flashed away at near-sonic speed, leaving behind a few leaves swept up by the strong wind and slowly drifting down.

"I don't have your ability to turn into a wolf."

Clutching a fallen, withered leaf in her hand, Kayla gazed in the direction David had gone, her eyes filled with anticipation and her face a complex mix of emotions.

The kind and serene old woman in the nursing home had foreseen her future before she died.

Do not go near David and his brother, or you will be doomed.

If misfortune is her fate, she will not run away; she has long been mentally prepared, as long as she can help Nama defeat Sergai.

……

David now understands why the transfer students were both friendly and wary of him.

Under Kayla's burning gaze, which seemed to be that of someone pursuing a faith, he felt a little uncomfortable.

It took quite a while to gain new abilities in the forest and to test them.

It was getting close to afternoon.

David returned home.

"David, you're back?"

The previously gloomy atmosphere in the house was completely dispelled.

Clark couldn't hide a hint of smugness at the corner of his mouth.

"Just now, Rickman sent someone over to terminate the contract."

Not only us, but several other farms have the same contracts.

He had never experienced such joy in helping others, and most importantly, he surpassed his brother in resolving the matter quickly and skillfully.

This time, the younger brother should realize that problems don't always have to be solved in such a brutal and cruel way.

"Son, we don't need to move anymore."

Jonathan and Martha smiled and nodded, "The farm and the house are back in our home."

Clark had just recounted how he did it to his parents.

He only said that he abandoned his younger brother because he was in a hurry, and that he ran to Chloe's house first. He also hid his identity and forced Rickman, who had cheated to get the farm, to cancel the contract.

Jonathan and Martha recounted the story again, and David learned what had happened.

Although the two were somewhat worried about their son using his abilities, they were somewhat relieved when they thought that the meteorite might have created many people with special abilities.

"You must be hungry. I'll make lunch now. It should be in time before you go to school."

With the matter resolved and a heavy weight lifted from her heart, Martha remembered that her two sons hadn't eaten yet, and excitedly ran into the kitchen to get busy.

"Without your quick and sharp analysis, Clark wouldn't have been able to resolve this matter so quickly. Son, you did a great job."

Jonathan patted his youngest son on the shoulder with satisfaction, then went into the kitchen to work with his wife, as if they had never argued.

The dark clouds dispersed, and the home returned to its former ease and warmth.

David knew that his father had just been looking out for him, hoping that he wouldn't feel frustrated or down because Clark had superhuman abilities to solve the problem while he was left behind.

"David, why aren't you particularly happy?"

Standing next to his younger brother, Clark crossed his arms and asked in confusion.
