Hades stopped moving, turned around and swung his hand, easily knocking the charging Clark away like a ball.

The sound was like muffled thunder. Clark flew backward at high speed, skimming over the trees, crashing into a corner of the cliff, sending rocks flying everywhere.

His head felt like it had been hit head-on by a supersonic fighter jet weighing tens of thousands of tons. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and his vision blurred.

"Is this the power of Hades, the god of the underworld?"

Embedded in the mountainside, Clark stared in horror at the tall, armored figure.

With his own strength, he was like a child facing an adult; they were not even in the same league.

Hades had just turned around after sending Clark flying when an iron fist rapidly enlarged in his eyes.

Bang!

A terrifying shockwave exploded outwards, causing the island's trees to bend low like grasslands. Hades was thrown back a distance, his face grim.

As a god, he was actually hit in the face by a mortal.

"Who do you think you are facing? Kneel down, you mortal!"

Hades's low roar caused the heavens and earth to change color. With a wave of his hand, his powerful divine force swept across the sky, and the aftershocks alone made the entire island tremble.

“There was a guy who said something similar to me; he should be being punished on Mount Olympus right now.”

With his arms crossed, David blocked the oncoming divine power and was pushed back a few meters. Then, his body was wrapped in lightning, and he fearlessly threw a punch at Hades.

"Since you dislike the underworld so much and have gone to great lengths to get out, I will grant your wish and send you to a place more beautiful than the human world."

Gods seem to share a common trait: after enduring long periods of human worship and faith, they become arrogant and conceited; at least Ares, whom he encountered, and Hades today are both like this.

Even the slightest offense can enrage them.

David said the most beautiful place was Olympus.

Although Hades is the ruler of the underworld, he is also one of the Olympian gods, and once he dies, he will be reborn in Olympus.

“You are even more outrageous than my brother’s most brainless son, Hercules.”

Hades glared angrily, divine power emanating from his hands. Wisps of pale green smoke seemed to conceal countless evil spirits with twisted faces, emitting howls. The winds of the underworld swept across the land, and the temperature plummeted.

I will teach you what reverence truly means!

The two fought fiercely, their thunder and the divine power of death colliding and splashing.

Hades was shocked to discover that the mortal before him was a fraction stronger than him in terms of physical strength. The punches made Hades feel numb as he tried to block the attacks, something he could not tolerate.

"How could gods be weaker than mortals!"

Even just one aspect is not acceptable.

Disregarding his human form any longer, Hades revealed his true form as the god of the underworld: wolf-like pointed ears, a beast-like face, two pale white horns on his head, and three tentacle-like tongues in his mouth. His appearance was ferocious, sinister, and terrifying.

It's almost indescribable.

"This is my true power. Experience the might of the gods!"

Bang!

David was sent flying dozens of meters by Hades' punch. He shook his arm and realized that Hades was now stronger. He then began to use the cosmic energy in his body to amplify his physical body and charged forward again.

Hades' divine power easily overwhelmed the Zeus' divine power that came with Shazam's power, but the ominous death power bombarded David's strong body, seemingly only to have a superficial effect.

Aside from chills and weakness, David didn't feel much else.

This feeling was then completely dispelled by the cosmic energy burning within my body like a supernova.

Bang bang bang!

As the power increased, David's strength gradually surpassed Hades', each punch carrying overwhelming force, forcing Hades to retreat continuously.

Bang bang bang!

“Cerberus, my hound.”

Hades roared in anger.

The sky seemed to be dyed red with blood and fire, accompanied by a chilling roar that came from underground. A huge dark red beast shadow, carrying lava, smashed the earth, and its three blood-red mouths snapped at David.

"Tear him to pieces!"

David quickly retreated to avoid it and saw what had appeared.

The hellhound with three heads, as huge as an elephant, growls with a low growl. One head's mouth flows with lava that looks like saliva, another's mouth flows with the waters of the Styx that can corrode the soul, and the third's mouth flows with terrifying, black, viscous venom.

"Cerberus"

Along with Hades, mythical monsters also appear in the human world.

"David, leave this monster to me!"

Cerberus, trying to help his master, lunged at David from the air, but was suddenly grabbed by the neck by a figure that flashed by and slammed into a distant mountain.

"What a strength!"

Clark felt the monster he was holding was so strong that he was almost unable to resist. He straightened up and swung the three-headed hellhound over his head, slamming it hard into the ground.

With a pained howl like that of a giant dog, Cerberus was slammed into the ground. Clark flipped over and mounted it, grabbing its neck by the fur and about to punch it, but was blasted back by Cerberus's molten lava torrent.

Ignoring the lava clinging to his body, Clark raised his fist and charged forward like lightning.

The brief exchange just now made him feel that he probably couldn't defeat Hades, but dealing with this Cerberus shouldn't be a problem.

A man and a monster fought on the ground, trees felled, and dust rose everywhere.

"Damn it!"

Hades' face turned grim. His hounds were held back and he was without any support. He channeled his divine power into a double-pronged fork and thrust it at David.

"Mortal, do you think I'm nothing more than this!"

He unleashed his divine power, and ominous, deathly power surged forth like a tidal wave.

One possessed a powerful physical body, while the other had terrifying divine strength; for a time, it was difficult to determine a winner.

……

"The enemy the alliance will face is finally on the high seas!"

With flames spewing from his feet and hovering in mid-air, Steel Bone fired ultrasonic cannons, blasting dead soldiers on the sea surface into dried corpses and fragments. Green Lantern Hal Jordan's ring glowed, condensing into a floating base on the sea surface, which actually simulated a standing Gatling gun.

He frantically pulled the trigger, unleashing thousands of bullets per second, brutally tearing apart the corpses of the dead soldiers.

But the most valiant was Arthur, who wielded his trident and traversed the sea like a giant deep-sea whale. With a casual swing of his trident, he could stir up towering waves powerful enough to capsize warships, slamming large numbers of dead soldiers into the sea, their bones shattered.

As a half-Atlantean, he could only unleash his full power when he returned to the sea.

"Let me have a big one."

Firestorm grinned, descended, and touched the sea surface with both hands. He activated his strongest ability, reshaping the seawater into oil.

Looking up at the sky, the blue rapidly faded, and black covered and stained the area for miles.

He raised his finger, mimicking the gesture of a revolver, and a fiery bullet struck the sea, instantly igniting a raging inferno that spread for miles in the blink of an eye, with flames shooting into the sky.

Cyborg and Green Lantern were startled and quickly retreated.

"Ahem, I suddenly regret it."

Firestorm covered his nose, and even Batman inside the mech cabin frowned and backed away.

The already unpleasant smell of kerosene, combined with the stench of burning corpses, along with billowing black smoke, instantly filled the sea.

The flames were deadly to the dead soldiers, but Arthur was no problem at all, though he didn't want to surface again at this point.

"Steelbow, why are you coughing too?"

Green Lantern was so choked he almost vomited, but he quickly conjured a gas mask, which made him feel a little better.

"I still have one lung intact." Even the steel skeleton, which was mostly mechanical, couldn't take it anymore and summoned the steel mask.

The elemental woman waved her hand, releasing pink gas, which released large amounts of air freshener into the air, but it was to no avail.

The eagle woman, carrying a warhammer, flapped her wings and soared into the sky to evade, frowning.

Although Firestorm's actions were reckless, they also demonstrated a terrifyingly powerful ability, almost changing the terrain with a wave of her hand. She couldn't help but think of the most powerful man in the alliance.

When the Despair Demons invaded the Alliance last time and witnessed David's strength, she couldn't help but wonder if Earth really needed Senagon's protection. She returned to her homeland and raised her doubts with the rulers.

But the rulers did not withdraw the mission, allowing her to continue infiltrating Earth to find the weaknesses of the Beyonders.

"Superman is a Kryptonian, with the weakness of the red sun and that special meteorite, but does the Beyonder really have unknown weaknesses?"

The eagle woman looked suspiciously into the depths of the sea, where almost half the sky was filled with the light of gray-green divine power and the collision of lightning.

"Look!"

The elemental woman screamed.

The oil slick, stretching for over ten miles, only slightly slowed the advance of Hades' army. More undead soldiers surged in from the other side of the sea, not even bothering to avoid the still-burning waters.

Like a terrifying swarm of army ants in the desert, they forcefully extinguished the flames with their bodies and continued their rampage.

A heavy feeling settled over everyone.

"How much is left exactly?"

Green Lantern glanced down at the ring.
