“Use your eyes, Clark.”

David unleashed a torrent of energy with a punch, and gave a low shout as a warning.

"He is akin to an energy being, immune to a significant portion of physical attacks."

Soon they will enter space, and without the filtering of Earth's atmosphere, Clark will be bathed in sunlight and have a continuous source of energy.

Following David's instructions, Clark dodged the Parallax Monster's tentacles that swept across hundreds of meters while simultaneously firing heat vision strikes from his eyes to cut through the monster's body.

A flash of green light appeared, and Thomas Ray rushed up, his will manifesting into a spaceship. He piloted it, performing various high-difficulty flight maneuvers and firing continuously, harassing and attacking David and Clark.

"Who are you, unknown life form?"

I sensed a potential within you; you are more suited than anyone else to bear my power.

Parallax seemed to sense something. As it was being knocked away, it stared at David, waving its thick tentacles, hundreds of meters long, towards him, its eyes gleaming with greed.

"The body I reside in is powerful in itself."

But it's not suitable for unleashing my power of fear.

He is a Lantern Beast of Fear, but he cannot control all of the power of fear. However, Parallax can feel the power of fear flowing smoothly through David's body.

"Come into my arms, young life forms, we can spread fear throughout the universe."

Surrounded by a gravitational field, David's tall and slender body unleashed a tremendous repulsive force, making the parallax monster's tentacles feel as if they were stuck in mud, unable to extend further.

He slammed his fist into Parallax's face, unleashing a burst of intense cosmic energy that resembled a small purple sun rising in space. Parallax was once again sent flying by an attack powerful enough to flatten an entire city.

Parallax is currently occupied by one of the Guardians of the Universe, the oldest intelligent life forms in the universe. They once believed that emotions would hinder development and thus abandoned certain emotions.

"Although the Guardians of the Universe are extremely powerful, there is one person in the few records who has almost crushed Shazam, because he is not very comfortable with the power of fear that is driven by fear."

Parallax claims that it is suited to the power of fear, probably because of its ability to manipulate energy; it can control any kind of energy very well.

David's face was cold, but how could he possibly hand over his body so easily?

Thomas Reyru walked on the edge of the knife, his heart pounding. If it weren't for David and Clark taking turns striking the monster, he had no doubt that the monster could have annihilated him if it had gotten even a moment's opening.

"Ah, you think you can stop me!"

In the blink of an eye, the parallax illusion, like a ball being passed back and forth between David and Clark, had reached the thin exosphere and was about to be blasted out of Earth.

Realizing this infuriating fact, he had to take it seriously and began to shrink his body.

His enormous and ferocious size certainly instilled fear in the insects upon first sight, making it easier and faster for him to absorb life energy. However, it was also too cumbersome, turning him into a punching bag for David and his companion.

"Its size has shrunk, but it has become stronger!"

The parallax monster, which was once so huge that it could cover half the city, was now only seven or eight meters tall. It lashed out at Clark with a tentacle, and Clark looked on in surprise, clutching his chest and feeling a slight pain.

David punched Parallax in the face, helping Clark break free. Before Parallax could fly far away, he grabbed one of Parallax's tentacles, pulled it back, and punched it hard again.

"Your power!"

Parallax's head throbbed, he felt dizzy, and his face showed surprise.

"You've become stronger, haven't you?"

Because I sensed another, even more powerful weapon!

David glanced at the brilliant star in the distance—the Sun—and swung his fist, manipulating the gravitational field to send him flying.

Far from Earth's gravitational field, and with less of its powerful interference, he sensed another, even stronger weapon in space—the Sun's gravity, or gravitational field.

"it's useless.

I have absorbed the life energy of two planets; my power is inexhaustible!

Several tentacles were severed, and the group had arrived in the boundless space during their battle. Parallax stabilizing itself in the vacuum, its tentacles instantly regenerated and began to fiercely pounce on David and Clark once again.

"You will be the ones who die!"

The three engaged in a fierce battle in space.

Clark encountered many unfamiliar areas today, such as flying and space combat, but he adapted very well in his eagerness to deal with the monster in front of him, though he forgot about that.

I clearly felt the power of being away from Earth and bathed in sunlight.

"I feel like I could play like this all day long."

Not to mention David, whose fear power from the Parallax monster's attack was completely converted into his own. All three of them possessed almost limitless energy, and their battle in space created ripples of energy.

As minutes, and even tens of minutes passed, the battle intensified.

None of the three could defeat the others.

The true body that Parallax truly possesses is hidden beneath the monster's body woven from the power of fear. It is damaged, but can be restored by consuming some power of fear.

Clark basks in the sunlight and can recover from injuries in the blink of an eye.

David, with his gravitational field protection, energy manipulation, and powerful physique, has never been injured. However, even he cannot defeat the Parallax monster in the short term.

"This monster's power of fear is too strong!"

At this rate, it'll take at least several days to deal with him.

The punch unleashed a torrent of energy that pierced through space, an attack that seemed capable of destroying everything. It inflicted a bucket-sized gash on the Parallax monster's body, but it healed in the blink of an eye.

David's eyes were cold and sharp; he could easily wait.

The Green Lantern Corps is coming soon, and they'll be the ones to deal with the headaches, but...
