He doubted whether the Spider missiles could penetrate armor; the "Demon" seemed harder to hit than the well-defended Grugram.

Like Galuberos, the "demon" has three heads, with two more on its shoulders. On the left, we see Chrome Chester, its lizard-like head letting out a roar.

It's hard to describe what that sound is like. Using rolling thunder as a metaphor would be too weak, and comparing it to the song of a deep-sea whale would be too peaceful. Compared to the roars of ferocious beasts like lions and tigers, it would seem petty. Even alien beasts that I've seen before would probably be easily crushed in its presence.

Kazuki Komon carefully kept his distance from the unknown demonic alien beast as he piloted his fighter jet. Two beams of light were reflected on his helmet, and at the end of the arc, the giant appeared.

The "demon" roared as it strode forward, the air pushed aside by its mountain-like body.

With each step out, you can hear the whisper of the wind.

"Whoosh!" A small flock of crows tried to hide in a safe place, flapping their wings as hard as they could, but they couldn't even get past the distance the "devil" would take next.

Their legs, almost entirely bone, crashed into the flock of crows. They struggled to move their wings, but what swept past them looked like a lump of mud.

Upon contact, the birds with jet-black plumage were dragged into the soft mud, with only their beaks protruding beneath their skin barely visible. Their cries were completely drowned out, and the shapes of their beaks and wings soon disappeared as well.

"You've come, Lord Samuel!"

The black-robed figure standing atop the distant mountain peak appeared extremely small compared to such a monster; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call him an "ant."

But his cheerful voice clearly pierced through the entire valley, bypassed the "demon," and reached the ears of the man of light.

Accompanying this sound was a similarly spreading realm of darkness.

While Sakuma Junsho was stunned by the appearance of the alien beast, Muchini had already suppressed his smile, and his next words were icy and chilling: "Beelzebub, dig out that Earthling and reunite him with his wife."

The brief pause is like the blinking cursor before typing a command.

The massive muscle groups immediately tensed, and energy was concentrated and released under their feet. With a "boom," the air waves and the howling wind swept in all directions, causing trees to fall and mountains to split!

It's like a meteorite piercing through the atmosphere, and you're standing right where it lands. As the shadow forms beneath your feet, the meteorite is already closing in on you with tremendous force!

"Chun."

The memory policeman looked up abruptly, his breath catching in the millisecond that the sound reached his ears.

The demon's teeth were clearly visible to him. They snapped open and closed, and white mist poured out from the gaps between the fangs. Amidst the clanging of metal, a soft, almost inaudible female voice could be heard.

Is it just an auditory hallucination?

While Jun Sakuma was stunned, the "devil's" eyes, surging with magma, shattered and blurred into a beautiful scene of falling cherry blossoms in his vision.

That was the cherry blossom riverside promenade he liked to find when he went on dates with Sakuma Sakura. The entire walkway, long enough to stroll from the afternoon until the daylight faded, was covered with fluttering petals, some of which fell into the river, creating a small ripple.

The delicate petals scattered on their hair, shoulders, and clothes, their elegant fragrance lingering around their noses. It was as if a reserved waiter had brewed a pot of fine jade dew and gently pushed a bone china teacup, its emerald green and pure white colors complementing each other, towards them. The steam mingled with the aroma of tea, creating a refreshing and pleasant atmosphere.

His wife held his arm, looked up, and a petal brushed past her eyes, which were like the bright moon reflected in the well.

"Chun."

She opened her mouth, but no sound came out—the shape of her mouth as if she were speaking merged with the image of the "demon's" fangs clashing together!

"Roar--!"

The oncoming meteorite was abruptly stopped, the transition from extreme speed to utter stillness occurring in a single exchange. Samuel crossed his arms, using the outside of his forearms to block Beelzebub's claw strike; the cold, crescent-shaped glint of the claws ceased abruptly with his movement.

Exhaling a scorching breath, the "demon's" head turned to a different angle, its gaze, focusing only on the silver giant through its red eyeballs.

To be precise, it's concentrated in the flame-rimmed timer.

Even within the realm of consciousness, Jun Sakuma could clearly sense that Beelzebub was watching him as his human form through Samuel.

Chapter Fifty-Nine: Fallen Souls

"Interfering with those who are reunited after a long separation will send them to hell." Dark Mephisto casually waved his hand, and black and red particles immediately surged upwards in a large swarm, like locusts falling into a wheat field. Wherever they passed, the golden barrier that was struggling to expand was "devoured" completely, and Nexus's reversed dark domain returned to one.

The dark giant turned to look at the tiny black-robed figure on the mountaintop, who returned his gaze with a cold, piercing stare.

“His light is mine now, you’d better not regret it,” the inverted sky suddenly trembled, growing stronger and stronger. Mephisto grabbed Nexus’s fist as it came at him, and his demonic claws pressed against the latter’s neck with a “whoosh.” His dark eyes came close and he whispered, “Worry about yourself first.”

"The phase is changing!" Shiori Hiraki glanced out the window; it was still pitch black, but the data on the instrument panel was changing rapidly.

The overturned dome was torn apart, and it seemed that a new realm was being generated within the already formed space.

Mephisto held Nexus tightly, not turning around, and shouted to Muchini, who was standing quietly watching from behind, "I'm taking my prey with me. Don't make me come to save you."

“If you clearly want me to lose, then say less insincere things,” Muchini said dismissively to his collaborator. “If you want my power, just say so.”

The phase data stopped at a new value, the sky descended, and the figures of Chromiester and Nexus were obscured, leaving only Mephisto's laughter in the air.

"bass!"

The armor covering his outer arms sparked as it rubbed against Beelzebub's claws. The "demon's" heavy body staggered back half a step, causing the earth to crack and the mountains to tremble.

It opened its mouth, which was full of fangs, and this time it wasn't a friendly female voice, but a buzzing sound from highly compressed energy!

Their faces could easily feel the sudden, sharp rise in temperature. The night wind had created chaotic vortices around them due to the movements of the enormous creature—but even that did little to make the air blowing on their faces any cooler.

The winds intertwine, collide, and merge, like someone playing a zither.

Playing the flute, and just as the wind howled and was about to reach its breaking point, the silver bottle, which had been gathering strength for a long time, suddenly shattered!

The image reflected in Muchini's eyes brightened briefly, and the sound of the explosion arrived late, just as the shockwave was stirring the billowing black robe.

This was not the power that The One's ultimate fireball could achieve. After the shockwave swept past, the force that was pulling at his robes suddenly stopped, and the light that had annihilated the energy gradually dimmed.

All that remained before Beelzebub was a pit several times larger than himself; when the blue smoke dissipated, the pit was empty.

It suddenly raised its head, its lava-like eyes fixed on the dome!

There, several light blades were arrayed in mid-air, with tiny rays of light constantly emanating from their blades.

With a wave of his hand, Samuel sent those light blades flying like soldiers obeying a general's command, their bright, sharp arcs striking the enemy's brain, throat, and heart—any vital organ that could be fatal!

Beelzebub opened his mouth and spewed out another pillar of fire, a move Samuel had seen on Galberos before. The pillar of fire swept across the sky, prematurely detonating the explosive light blades one by one. The still-burning fireballs fell to the ground, resembling the discarded, lit remnants of fireworks left over from a fireworks display.

“He’ll just crash into you, step back,” Muchini warned.

In his mind, Samuel's fighting style was always like a raging storm, giving no one a chance to breathe. He would definitely use the light from the collision of the exploding light blades and the pillars of fire as cover to close in, and if Beelzebub stood still, what awaited him was a fist that was already upon him.

Beelzebub retreated as instructed, raising his claws to deliver a crushing blow to anyone who dared to approach.

But all that came was a fleeting glimpse of a whip.

It wasn't aimed at Beelzebub, but rather at the black-robed man who was remotely directing things from a distance!

The sound of tearing air drew closer rapidly, but Muchini remained rooted to the spot like a piece of wood.

"Crack!"

The light whip approached him within a few meters, and suddenly black mist and lightning began to intertwine and wrap around the silvery-white whip tip from the end, sparks flying and flowing upwards until Samuel deliberately cut off the light whip, which had been reversed into a "fuse," and the sparks disappeared into the air.

The black mist remained entangled in its original position.

Muchini then raised his head.

He remained silent, but his eyes burned with a fierce and aggressive light.

Just as Sakuma Jun thought he was about to make another loud accusation, Muchini said softly, "You attacked me?"

He locked the figure of the Man of Light firmly in his eyes, his gaze gleaming, his tone as respectful as ever. But the words he uttered were like those of a snake, dripping with deadly venom.

“I never imagined I would face such a sorrowful event, Lord Samuel, you have been deeply bewitched,” the man in black robes stood in the darkness, looking up at the light: “My offense is not directed at you, but at the despicable humanity that now hides beneath your body!”

He stretched out his hand and pointed it sharply at Beelzebub, who was waiting silently: "I have found a way to save you. If you still retain even a shred of your sanity, please help me... help that human named Sakura Sakuma to send the little man hiding under your body to hell! I will deal with him as I did with the sea creatures..."

“Seafolk.” Samuel suddenly interrupted him, like a cold blade piercing his throat, silencing the latter’s words.

“Ah…of course, Vitamori…” Muchini opened his mouth, but his eloquent speech was suddenly choked, and his expression was neither crying nor laughing: “They blasphemed our gods, didn’t they? They deserved it.”

……

"Look, Lord Samuel!" A young man with curly, seaweed-like hair held up a food box high: "Ta-da! Aunt Molly's braised white fish with mushrooms and red wine!"

The little silver figure, half-asleep and half-awake, was nearly knocked off the windowsill by the young man's careless shout.

Fortunately, he levitated in time, shook his head, and floated to the side of the exquisitely packaged food box: "Did you help her dry the fish?"

"No—no—" The young man smiled mysteriously: "Actually, she was thanking you because we defeated the 'monster'!"

Muchini opened the food box, and couldn't help but grin from ear to ear at the aroma: "As expected of Aunt Molly's cooking, Lord Samuel, once we drive away the evil god, let's help everyone move back and rebuild the Silver Sand Sea, shall we?"

“Hmm,” Samuel said, watching him stuff food into his mouth like a hamster, “you’ll choke.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Muchini's face turned green, and he started groaning and searching the room for water.

The cabin was by the sea. Samuel went back and sat on the windowsill, watching the waves slowly spread from the nearshore to the shore, and a crab the size of half a palm curled itself up in the damp sand.

Muchini cleared his throat and walked back: "After the reconstruction is complete, we still need to clean up the sea creatures!"

Samuel turned to look at him: "Don't they always live on the seabed? There's no competition for resources, and they're not the type to attack ships, so why bother with them?"

“Ah, it’s outrageous that they live on the seabed and worship a so-called mother goddess, claiming our gods are their children…” Muchini emphasized, clenching his fist to add credibility: “This is for faith!”

Samuel glanced at his fist, then looked up and stared intently into the young man's seemingly boiling eyes, his voice unusually serious: "Using power in this way will turn you into a 'monster'."

……

"Lord Samuel..." The man in black was probably...

Laughs: "After you 'fell,' we fled Vitamori. They didn't have any resource disputes with us before, but they did later."

He still had the face of that young man from back then, only now with the maturity of years. When he smiled, that maturity was softened, and in Samuel's eyes, it was as if he had returned to the seaside cottage of many years ago.

The young man said, "What does my Vitamori have to do with them?"
