"The Integration Movement has recruited 10,374 people to date, of whom 313 are children who are unable to fight. The first regiment has 2,732 people, the second regiment has 3,163 people, the third regiment has 2,256 people, and the remaining 1,910 people form the newly established fourth regiment. It is recommended that Comrade An Xin be the regimental commander."

After many years, someone finally called him comrade.

After listening to the report, An Xin looked a little surprised and asked Shuangxing a question.

"We have more than 10,000 people?"

"Ah."

“It shouldn’t all be infected people.” An Xin thought back carefully; many of the people he had taught were ordinary young people from villages and towns.

The spark he planted eventually ignited in the hearts of some people.

Talulah nodded: "You're right. Nearly half of them are not infected. They have now broken up into smaller groups and are hiding in various villages. Since they are not infected, they will not be subject to excessive scrutiny by the infected patrol team."

"That's great news." A look of relief appeared in An Xin's eyes.

Talulah smiled and pointed outside the door, "Let me take you to see your troops."

"it is good."

Soon, An Xin met his troops.

Nineteen hundred people is not a lot; it may not even be as many as some high schools.

The sight of these people standing together, arranged in a neat and orderly army, was quite awe-inspiring.

"Hello teacher!"

That sentence left An Xin feeling both amused and exasperated, as if she had returned to school.

He looked at the unit and saw many familiar faces; they were all his students.

An Xin took a breath and returned their greeting.

"Hello, comrades!"

Not far away, Snake Scales watched the troops and secretly slipped into the Reunion Movement's base.

The inspection lasted only a short time, and was quickly disbanded after An Xin's appointment was announced.

He returned to his room and saw a strange figure, which startled him.

Is this person Snake Scale?

The reconnaissance eye flashed, and the data laid out before him confirmed his suspicions.

"Isn't Kosiché dead? Why did he send you to find me?"

Snake Scales clearly hadn't expected to be exposed so quickly. He asked in a cold tone.

"You really think so?"

“I used to think Kosichek was really dead, but since you’re here, it means he’s still alive, right?”

An Xin casually poured a glass of water for She Lin and gestured for him to enter.

In fact, every muscle was poised to strike, waiting for the snake scales to make their move so he could withstand the attack.

“You don’t need to be so wary of me, An Xin.” Snake Scale picked up some water and sat down to the side. “I’m just here to deliver a message.”

"Send a message?"

"My lord originally asked me to find out your attitude, but I didn't expect to expose myself right away."

Snake Scales shrugged. "I haven't received any attack orders, I won't do anything."

"One should not have the heart to harm others, but one must be wary of others." An Xin's left hand kept touching the peach wood sword. "So, what does Koschche want to tell me?"

"The master's thinking is very simple. He always believes that you and he are both nobles and should be able to understand his thoughts. You should be the same kind of people."

"You're saying I'm the same kind of person as Kosichek?" An Xin's expression changed.

“Isn’t it wrong?” Snake Scales said calmly. “The master always says that sooner or later, you and Talulah will understand him.”

"Don't you have anything else to say?" An Xin stared at him, her eyes chillingly cold.

"I was thinking of recruiting you, but it seems unnecessary now, ha." Snake Scales suddenly vanished into thin air, the cup in his hand fell to the ground, leaving An Xin with only a playful smile.

“One day, you will all come to agree with the adults.”

Staring at the spot where the snake scales had disappeared, An Xin suddenly pulled open the drawer and found the complete potion inside, and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

He used to carry four inhibitors with him, but now he only has one left.

He deliberately stayed behind, just in case.

His Originium disease symptoms were mild, while Patriot and Frostnova's were more severe.

The former is the strongest fighting force of the Reunion Movement, while the latter is Anxin's protectee.

Sometimes, this injection of inhibitor may have a greater effect.

An Xin shoved the inhibitor into her pocket and left the room. Gazing at the azure sky merging with the snowy landscape, she suddenly felt a little relieved.

"........."

A few minutes later, Anxin found Talulah and with just two sentences, her expression changed drastically.

“Snake scales have infiltrated the group.”

"Kosiché is very likely not dead."

The cadres of the Integration Movement sat back in the command room, which was actually just a small, draft-free room with a long table covered with maps.

After Anxin finished recounting his encounter with the snake scales, everyone turned their attention to Talulah.

“I did indeed assassinate Koschei, there’s no doubt about that,” Talulah said, sitting at the end of the long table with her elbows on the surface and her hands crossed and resting on her nose.

"There is no possibility that they were not killed. A person whose heart has stopped beating cannot be saved even with medical Originium Arts."

“Then we need to consider other possibilities.” An Xin frowned. “Is there any special Originium Arts that can bring the dead back to life? Or is it possible to transfer souls?”

As a time traveler, he knew better than anyone that souls could be swapped.

Not to mention the various concepts of possession.

But others don't know that.

Even the patriots said they didn't know, and after some discussion, they came to no conclusion.

"There's no point in us guessing anything here if we can't see Kosiché."

Talulah ended the conversation, "Whether he's dead or not, we can't panic. The next plan can't be abandoned."

“That’s true, but you have to understand that all our actions could be under Kosiché’s watchful eye. We’re no longer a small organization.”

An Xin said, "We are carrying the lives of more than 10,000 people on our shoulders, and we must be cautious in every step we take."

"Koschei probably doesn't even consider 10,000 men a threat, thinking we're just a rabble." Frostnova said expressionlessly, then turned the conversation to Patriot, "Dad, what do you think of our current fighting strength?"

Patriot paused for a moment, then said, "There is absolutely no hope of victory against the Ursus army."

Everyone frowned.

“Even so, we cannot give up, sir. I know that 10,000 men may be like a mantis trying to stop a chariot for the Ursus army, but as long as we keep spreading our ideas, eventually some people will recognize us and join us.”

Talulah's voice injected a powerful calming effect into everyone present.

She continued, "The appearance of the snake scales was intended to disrupt morale. If we really start an internal investigation, that's exactly the outcome the snake scales want to see."

An Xin looked up. "Is there any way to get rid of the snake scales' surveillance?"

“No, not for now.” Talulah shook her head. “We have too many people, there’s no good solution.”

"What about breaking it down into smaller parts?"

“Those can only be ordinary people. Infected people will be caught by the picket line. The Reunion Movement must protect them.”

Talulah looked serious.

It ended in death.

"Since Kosichrie did not report the news of the Reunion Movement to the Emperor of Ursus, it means that he does not intend to do so, and there must be a problem."

An Xin analyzed the situation for her, "What benefits would it bring to Kosiché if we were allowed to grow and thrive? That's why he's been keeping it a secret for us."

From the nobleman's perspective, this was a golden opportunity to earn merit, but he didn't.

The people who truly understand the Ursus nobles and army are Patriot and Talulah.

"I don't know... If it were me, the Reunion Movement would have been... suppressed long ago." Patriot's answer was very much in the style of an Ursus nobleman.

This country has been at war for years. All the nobles have benefited from the war, leaving the suffering to the people. They have turned internal conflicts into conflicts between ordinary people and the infected, and then used war as an outlet to maintain their rule.

“You don’t understand Koschche. No, even I wouldn’t dare to say I understand Koschche.”

Talulah sighed, "Instead of dealing with this more distant threat, we should discuss and plan the operation in a few days."

If we can take over that abandoned mobile city, we'll have a temporary home, and the supplies will be enough to get us through the winter.
