"Don't run! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"

Kyushu Makoto took a couple of steps as a gesture. However, she quickly slapped her forehead to bring herself back to her senses and hurried back to Suzumiya Kame's side.

Suzumiya Kasumi lay on the ground, her eyes wide open, a trace of blood at the corner of her mouth. Her gaze was unfocused, her clothes at the chest were stained deep red, and blood gushed from her wounds, flowing all over the ground. Only the faint rise and fall of her chest indicated that she had not completely lost her vital signs.

"Momiji-nee, hang in there." Kyushu Makoto tried his best to remain calm, but his tone betrayed his panic:

"The correct first aid for severe bleeding is to gently press with gauze or a towel."

Kyushu Makoto disregarded all etiquette and directly tore off his shirt, ripping it into strips and pressing them against Suzumiya Momiji's chest wound.

"Stay calm and steady your breathing. I've already called the police, the ambulance will be here!" he whispered reassuringly, meeting her gaze.

"It hurts so much." Ryouko Momiji's face froze, and she said weakly.

"Don't speak yet, it's alright, just stay awake! You'll be saved soon!" Kyushu Makoto was sweating profusely with anxiety, cursing this damned city a thousand times in his heart.

How could such a monster appear on the street? Are the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department a bunch of idiots who've all lost their parents? Why isn't the ambulance here yet? Are they taking a stroll on their ancestors' graves?!

"Cough cough." Suddenly, Suzumiya Momiji coughed violently, and blood seeped from her wound and the corner of her mouth.

The sound of sirens filled the air; those damn police cars and ambulances were finally on their way.

Her breathing became faint, her eyelids were half-closed and she was unconscious, as fragile as a candle in the wind, as if she could disappear at any moment.

"Don't fall asleep, Momiji-nee," Kyushu Makoto gently stroked her cheek, a quick thought forming in his mind.

"By the way, didn't you say you wanted to find a boyfriend just like me? I'll be your boyfriend! So you have to hang in there!"

As if to make up his mind, Kyushu Makoto slammed his fist into the ground, causing his knuckles to bleed.

It doesn't matter, as long as I can save her. "Love" isn't so bad when it comes to saving lives!

He gritted his teeth and lowered his head to kiss Suzumiya Momiji's already pale lips.

Suzumiya Momiji, who was almost asleep, suddenly opened her eyes, and her forearm trembled.

"That's great! That's great! Yes, don't fall asleep, hang in there!" Kyushu Makoto was so excited he was almost crying, and continued to press hard on her wound:

"Did you hear that? The ambulance siren is getting closer and closer. You will survive!"

Three minutes later, police cars and ambulances surrounded the street, and many curious onlookers gathered around.

As the paramedics lifted Suzumiya Momiji onto the stretcher, two police officers approached and inquired:

"You're the one who called the police, right? Where is the knife-wielding assailant?"

Kyushu Makoto looked at them wearily and picked up a purple severed arm that was emitting black energy from the ground.

"This is the murderer." He handed the severed arm to the policeman with a blank expression.

"DNA comparison should be easy, right? You'll catch him, won't you?"

Kyushu Makoto's tone was resentful and sinister, and his gesture of handing over the severed arm was so natural that it was terrifying, startling both police officers.

"Anyway, come with us to the police station for questioning!" The officer didn't dare to reach out and take the severed arm, and could only try to remain calm as he spoke.

"You'll catch him, right? Don't treat it like a missing person or suicide case," Kyushu Makoto said, his gaze still cold as he stared at the two officers.

"We'll definitely catch him! Please get in the car with us!" Cold sweat beaded on the officer's forehead.

Kyushu Makoto nodded, then got into the car with the police, clutching his severed arm.

In the ambulance, the medical staff placed Liang Gonghua on the emergency table and started various instruments and equipment.

The driver starts the engine, and they are about to set off.

"The vital signs are about to disappear, there's no hope, right?" A medical worker looked at the almost flat electrocardiogram and shook his head regretfully.

"What a pity, such a young girl." Another medical worker sighed.

"Was that her boyfriend just now? He's probably heartbroken."

"Creak—" Just then, the back door of the ambulance was pulled open.

A young girl, who looked to be about seventeen or eighteen years old and had her hair tied in a ponytail on one side, stepped into the back of the car, her short leather boots clicking on the floor.

The girl wore a dark coat over a V-neck white wool sweater and a crimson pleated skirt, a color combination somewhat reminiscent of a shrine maiden's outfit.

"Excuse me, this is an ambulance, unauthorized personnel are not allowed to enter!" a medical worker reminded them with difficulty.

The girl didn't say anything, but simply took out an ID card from her jacket pocket.

Upon seeing the identification, the medical staff exclaimed in surprise, "Police?!"

"The police have taken over the case of this injured person," the girl said softly, her voice as clear as the moonlight outside the window.

After saying that, the girl took out a business card from her pocket and handed it to the medical staff. It had an address written on it.

"Sending her to this hospital was arranged by the police."

The girl quickly walked up to Suzumiya Momiji and looked her over.

"He's really badly injured. At your speed, he'd be beyond saving by the time he got to the hospital." The girl sighed, took out a talisman with a strange red pattern from her pocket, and casually stuck it on Ryougu Momiji's chest.

A faint, inconspicuous light flashed across Liang Gonghua's body. The girl nodded in satisfaction and hummed to herself:

"Saving a civilian earns five points!"

"What are you saying?" The medical staff nearby were very confused.

The next moment, the electrocardiogram on the screen began to fluctuate slightly.

"Her vital signs are starting to rebound!" a medical worker exclaimed joyfully. "She can still be saved!"

"This should make it to the hospital." The girl stepped out of the ambulance with satisfaction and casually closed the door.

"If she dies on the way and I lose points, I won't let you off the hook."

107. How to make Muggles understand magic

In the interrogation room of the detention center, Makoto Kyushu recounted the events that had transpired to the police officers.

The sword-wielding samurai wearing a Hannya mask had corpse-like purple skin, a body without the feel of bones, and black inside his wounds. Despite having his arm twisted off while still alive, he was still able to jump around.

Makoto Kyushu's testimony left the police officers speechless, unable to offer a single word of comment.

"Young man, are you sure what you're saying is true?" The young male police officer sitting across the table held the notebook, unsure how to begin writing, and gave an awkward, embarrassed smile.

"Are you sure you're not mistaken? After all, there weren't many streetlights at the crime scene, and the environment was quite dark. And it's also possible that you were flustered and your memory is playing tricks on you, right?"

"Everything I said is true." Kyushu Makoto leaned on the table, his eyes filled with irritation.

"The assailant's arm has been handed over to you. Whether he was a human or some strange thing depends on your test results."

In fact, Makoto Kyushu was just as bewildered as the police. This was the first time he had encountered such an irrational "human," and if Suzumiya Kame hadn't been behind him, he would have definitely run away.

Could it be that supernatural monsters really exist in this world?

"Crench--!"

Suddenly, the iron door to the interrogation room was opened.

Kyushu looked in the direction of the sound and found two people standing at the door.

The most eye-catching was a girl with a single ponytail on the side, wearing a coat and a red and white inner layer. She looked to be about the same age as Kyushu Makoto. Her facial skin was very well-maintained, her nose was so straight that she looked like she was of mixed race, and her sapphire blue eyes held a touch of ladylike elegance and aloofness.

Beside the girl was a police officer in uniform—this officer appeared to be a senior officer of considerable rank, yet he kept smiling and bowing to the girl the whole way, displaying a humble attitude.

"Is this the person who reported the incident?" The girl walked straight to Kyushu Makoto's side and asked the young police officer in charge of taking the statement:

"The guy who pulled the suspect's arm off?"

The young police officer was initially utterly bewildered by the girl's appearance, but was taken aback when he saw the "police" identification she flashed in her hand, and immediately straightened his posture.

"That's right! This young man's name is Kyushu Makoto, and he's the one who reported this incident."

Unlike the "police" responsible for maintaining daily order, the "public security" of Wano Country is a "secret police" directly under the central government, mainly responsible for handling cases that endanger national security, such as espionage and counter-terrorism work.

In Wano Country, when the Public Security Bureau gets involved in a case, it signifies a highly dangerous incident that threatens national security. Most police officers wisely withdraw to avoid getting themselves involved in unnecessary trouble.

"Really? Your name is Kyushu Makoto?" The girl turned her head and met Kyushu Makoto's eyes.

There was an undeniable air of arrogance in her eyes, but it was also mixed with an undisguised excitement and anticipation, making her gaze neither haughty nor humble, but maintaining a delicate balance.

"It's me. May I ask how I should address you?" Kyushu Makoto was somewhat bewildered by the casually dressed girl who suddenly appeared in the interrogation room and showed off her police ID.

"Qing Dynasty." The girl casually gave a surname, then said to the police officers:

"We've taken this person in, what's the fastest we can release him?"

"We'll process his paperwork right away!" the middle-aged police officer standing next to the girl quickly replied.

Twenty minutes later, Kyushu Makoto was released from the detention center, and the girl who called herself "Kiyomiya" asked Kyushu Makoto to follow her.

Since the other party revealed her identity as a "public security officer" and had been recognized by the police station, she was obviously not a bad person—although Makoto Kyushu did not completely trust the girl, he had no reason to refuse an officially certified public security officer.

The girl led him to the parking lot, where they finally stopped in front of a black and white Toyota Supra sports car.

"Get in the car," she said to Kyushu Makoto as she opened the car door.

"Where are you taking me?" Kyushu asked anxiously.

"I'll take you home," the girl replied calmly.

"Huh?" Kyushu Makoto was taken aback.
