Why can't humans do it too?

Before the protective power that Tet had placed in him and Xinke vanished completely in the cracks of the world, after passing through one world after another that seemed unsuitable for the living, Suer finally settled in this world and entered it silently—at least this world still had green trees, so it probably couldn't be too bad.
Standing by the window of this small bamboo house, Suer watched the hazy figure passing through the Milky Way, and then watched a plume of reddish-black smoke disappear into the distance... Well, it probably won't be too bad... right?
Every time Su Er asked himself this question, he felt inexplicably guilty.
While in this world there seems to be no need to worry about being crushed by the aftermath of a battle that breaks out from a distant place while you're sleeping at home, nor about food and water, there is an abundance of wild animals, plants, and rivers—or rather, an abundance that is a little too abundant.
There doesn't seem to be anything on this planet that can reshape the surface with a wave of the hand—at least, Suer hasn't seen any such major event yet. Having just escaped the life of war, this kind of life is so peaceful that it sends chills down Suer's spine.
Hmm... perhaps such beings still exist? It's just that they aren't fighting each other?
He had discussed this issue with Xin Ke, but it ultimately came to nothing. Regardless of whether such a powerful figure existed, Su Er decided to keep a low profile. At least until he understood how deep the waters of this world ran, he had no intention of showing his face.
Although he once held the prestigious title of the One God, who could manipulate the world's rules at will, a position that sounds incredibly powerful, Suer remained remarkably calm. Therefore, he didn't feel much anxiety or regret after losing that power.
With this calm mindset, Suer once cautiously traveled a long distance towards the direction where the Milky Way in the sky flows into the earth. However, no matter how long he walked there, he could not find the place where the Milky Way disappeared into the ground. As mentioned before, it always maintained a distance, seemingly forever unreachable.
Of course, during this journey, Suer also got to know some of the native creatures of this world. According to his past memories, perhaps those huge or strange things should be called monsters and ghosts.
And then there are those... guys who could probably be called human.
Thinking of this, Suer couldn't help but let out a long sigh.
It's hard to imagine that even he would have such an arrogant thought, but to be honest, for the first time, Suer truly understood what Asano Shirasu, the former orc, was thinking when he laughed heartily after hearing his words of self-defense in order to survive.
No matter how similar they might be when magnified proportionally, it was really difficult for Suer to call those creatures, who were less than 1.5 meters tall when standing upright, mostly around 1.3 or 1.4 meters tall, covered in dirt, wrapped in tattered burlap, disheveled, and with protruding chins, the same kind of humans as himself. Moreover, almost none of them could even stand up straight.
The situation was so dire that when Sur stood in front of them, both of them had to bend their heads at almost a 90-degree angle to see each other.
Monkeys—even though it's incredibly disrespectful, that's the first concept that came to Su'er's mind. The humans in this world seem to still maintain very primitive habits, living in small tribes and caves... They really do live in caves. Su'er had observed them with curiosity before. Their homes were simply holes dug in the ground, and when night fell, they would crawl inside and that was it.
As for the title of civilization... it feels like it needs to evolve further before it can be applied to these humans.
Every time he thinks about these things, Suer can hardly hold back the twitching muscles at the corner of his mouth. Back then, he probably thought that the difference between humans and beastmen was just a matter of having more hair, ears, and tails. But in Asano Shirasu's eyes, it was probably just like how he saw the native humans of this world.
There seemed to be rustling sounds coming from outside the bamboo house. However, the sounds that would have initially made Su'er tense up and alert now only made him sigh again. Although the events were very surreal, the small tribe he had encountered seemed to regard him as a god and worship him. Now that there was such a commotion, it was probably because they had come again.
Having a rough idea of what was happening outside, Suer still made some preparations before pushing open the bamboo door and going out.
Upon seeing the exquisite bamboo house suddenly opened, the short humans who were huddled in front of Suer's door hurriedly lay down on the ground, their entire bodies prostrate, as if they wished they could dig a hole on the spot and lie even lower to appear more respectful.
"%#@*!"
It does have its own language, although it was incomprehensible at first. However, with the help of the invincible Xin Ke, Su Er was able to understand the meaning of the sounds these humans were shouting.
What they are currently chanting fervently is—the gods!
Chapter Two: The Uninvited Guest
Without a doubt, the small tribe that had contact with Sur regarded him as an unparalleled god.
Whether it was the unimaginably tall bamboo house, the undeniably tall stature, the clean and tidy clothes, the handsome face, or the noble hair color purer than the sky, radiant like the sun.
Even the mere act of daring to stare at that figure felt offensive to them; to these dwarfs, Suer, who was over 1.8 meters tall, was practically a legendary god.
With a blank expression, he watched the dwarves go through their rituals before respectfully crawling backward on their knees. He then glanced at the offerings they had left behind: unidentified poultry and a strange-smelling beverage that was probably fermented. Su'er decided to pour the beverage into the field behind the bamboo house to fertilize the land. As for the meat, he figured it was still edible.
Well, although he kept muttering to himself, Suer didn't regret choosing to take the dwarves in the face of an attack by a monster—let's call it a goblin for now—out of sheer kindness.
In any case, it's just a matter of lifting a finger.
Shaking his head, Su Er stopped thinking about these messy things. He filled a basin with clean water and soaked the unknown poultry in it. Afterward, he would have to clean and disinfect it thoroughly.
This peaceful life had lasted for several months. Although he always longed for a peaceful and safe life during wartime, after actually arriving in this world, Suer couldn't help but feel bored.
Maybe that's what being shameless is all about.
Back then, in the cracks between worlds, what he most wanted to go with Xin Ke was a world that had developed into a modern society, with abundant resources and endless entertainment facilities. Living in such a world, it would be hard to feel bored, and such a retirement would be a true retirement. Unfortunately, they couldn't go. Te Tu's power was almost exhausted, and if they were to be picky again, they would probably die in the cracks between worlds.
Left with no other choice, Suer and Xinke could only temporarily remain in this boring world—well, this world doesn't seem too boring after all.
He calmly turned around, calmly looking at the beautiful face outside the bamboo house window, calmly examining every corner of that face. Suer wasn't frightened at all... he really wasn't frightened.
Her beautiful face was flawless, with two faint blushes on her fair cheeks and fine hairs like the fuzz on a peach. Under the sunlight, it radiated a healthy glow and was slightly translucent.
"Can you come in?"
she said.
There was no response. Suer simply crossed one arm over his chest and kept rubbing his chin with the other. For some reason, the more he looked at that face, the more familiar it seemed, like a familiar face he saw all the time...
"Can you come in?"
Despite not receiving a promise from Suer, the beautiful figure standing outside the window showed no sign of anxiety, simply repeating the question once more.
Still can't see it? Why don't you go look in the mirror?
Seemingly unable to bear it any longer, a voice suddenly rang out from the depths of Su'er's heart, a light teasing tone, but without much sarcasm.
Suer suddenly realized—this is me, isn't it?!
Add an Adam's apple to his neck, cut his long hair short, slightly narrow his eyebrows, and make some subtle adjustments to his cheekbones—wouldn't that be exactly what he looks like?!
Suffocated for a moment, Su Er didn't know what expression to make. This was the first time he had encountered something like this in all the years since then.
“…Miss…” Suppressing the urge to retort, Su Er said with a twitching brow, “While I agree with your aesthetic sense, could you at least find a different reference point? This appearance isn’t something that can be changed, is it?”
"Can you come in?"
The beautiful human figure outside the window seemed completely oblivious to what Suer had said; it merely repeated itself mechanically.
"Can't understand human language, huh?" Su'er sighed, lamenting yet another unpleasant day. "Alright, alright, come in, come in. Do you want some water? Sweet or salty?"
When Suer uttered the words "good, good, good," the beautiful human figure outside the window, who had maintained a faint smile throughout, finally changed her expression. It was a genuine joy, yet it carried a bewitching and sinister quality.
To be honest, seeing such an expression on a face that was extremely similar to his own made Su Er very uncomfortable. However, even he had to admit that the face was indeed beautifully sculpted—don't sculpt it again next time.
“Well… I’m coming in~” The joy in her voice was almost palpable. The human figure outside the window finally lost its human form. Instead of taking a few steps around to the left and entering through the bamboo door, it stretched its neck and came in through the window. The beautiful white collarbone connected to the long neck made Su Er’s mood even worse.
Like bait on a fishing rod, the head embedded in the long neck twisted rapidly in the air and lunged towards Suer. With each step forward, the expression on its face became more unrestrained; with each step forward, the originally beautiful face became more ferocious.
Two sharp, long fangs pierced through the fragile skin and grew out, yet not a drop of blood flowed from the torn skin. Fine, bluish scales were inlaid beneath a thin layer of skin, and a nauseating stench wafted out as it opened its mouth to its limit, its jaw almost falling off, slapping against Suer's nose—making him feel even more nauseous.
"Finally, finally—"
Bang! ! !
Before the creature, clearly not human, could finish a single sentence, Suer struck its head with a hook at a speed it couldn't even react to. The normally hard bone was instantly smashed into shattered pieces, and purplish-black blood, mixed with pink flesh, sprayed towards the roof, only to freeze just before touching it. Then, it rapidly contracted, condensing into a sphere of flesh and blood.
Suer had originally planned to listen to it ramble on for a bit, but since it was so foul-smelling, he decided against it and didn't want to put himself through that.
Frowning, he carried the fleshy ball to the outside of the bamboo house. Beside the window lay a huge snake carcass, thicker than an arm, its blood gushing out and soaking the edge of the bamboo platform. The headless body was still twitching slightly.
A beautiful day begins with the death of an uninvited guest. With a blank face, Suer picked up the snake corpse by the tail and walked towards the back of the bamboo house.
I have no appetite, so I'll just send it to the fertilizer field.
Chapter 3 Yukari Yakumo
Leaving aside those monsters that are simply enormous with some supernatural abilities but lack intelligence, all the monsters that Suer has discovered so far are a bit too naive, at least in Suer's opinion.
Even though this snake demon, who had mastered shapeshifting and seduction on her own, was categorized as simple-minded, in a sense, Suer could understand this simple-minded fellow—after all, even snake demons know that to successfully seduce someone, one must transform into someone of the same type as the target and be beautiful.
Presumably, the form she took when she was luring those dwarves was the most beautiful image in their eyes... Fortunately, she was sensible enough not to transform into a dwarf to lure Suer, otherwise Suer doubted he would have been able to listen to even the first word.
Just thinking about it is a nightmare.
He drew two fingers in the air like a sword, and the field behind the bamboo house cracked open. He casually threw the snake corpse and compressed flesh into the huge crevice. The corpse that crashed into it kicked up some dust, and much of the flesh had been corroded away, leaving only the bare bones half-hidden in the soil.
As Suer traced the path back along with his two fingers, the huge furrows that had appeared on the field seemed to close again like a zipper, and there was no sign of them being newly turned over, even where they connected to the soil.
Whether it was the thriving vegetable leaves planted on the ground or the flowers and plants collected to make Xinke happy, the cracked earth had no effect on them whatsoever, as if they had never moved at all from the beginning until now.
"Ah, it's getting a bit boring to always run into these silly monsters... Can't we have some monsters with normal thinking to chat with?" After bending down and taking a sniff of an orange flower, Suer sighed and continued, "I'm starting to feel a little bit of the predicament that Kokoro once faced."
【There are still many differences, aren't there? At least she committed suicide because of loneliness and having no one to talk to, but you always have me by your side~】
"Yes... thank goodness for you," Su'er murmured softly, a smile playing on her lips.
"I'm so sorry to bother you, but... who are you talking to?"
Suddenly, a voice rang out from behind Suer. It was undoubtedly a woman's voice, carrying the same eerie quality as the snake demon's voice from before, but it was far more lively and intelligent than the snake demon that could only repeat the same sentence endlessly.
Turning around as quickly as possible, Suer coldly stared at the woman standing not far behind him. Just from her beautiful face, one could tell at a glance that she was not human. She was tall, with long golden hair, and wore a purple robe without a single blemish or extraneous pattern.
"I can't quite suppress my curiosity anymore, so could you please answer my question?" As if unaware of Suer's wary gaze, the blonde woman... the enchantress, smiled slightly and pressed on.
"Heh, we're not related, and it's only our first meeting. To ask such a question so abruptly without even introducing yourself... what do you think?" Su'er sneered and said slowly.
"Ah~, it seems that's true~", the blonde banshee said, feigning sudden realization, and covered her lips with one hand in surprise.
What made Suer even more uneasy than her feigned surprise was that she seemed to completely understand what he was saying—that it meant that among some monsters there existed a higher level of relationships beyond instinct, even including civilized practices like etiquette and rules.
Let's call them high-level monsters for now.
"My name is Yakumo Yukari, and I am currently just an insignificant gap demon," the golden-haired banshee introduced herself with a slight smile, unaware of the fleeting thoughts in Suer's mind. However, Suer keenly sensed the key point in her words.
"Currently?"
“Yes, but for now—” the blonde banshee repeated briefly, then her expression turned serious, all smiles vanished, and she spoke with an undisguised, domineering arrogance: “In the future, we will quell all the conflicts between monsters, shatter the foolish delusions of those gods, and create a kingdom in the boundless land where only monsters can exist.”
"..."
The amount of information was so overwhelming that Suer didn't know what to say for a moment.
