I got the bad news today that a book friend, "Shovel Hammer", died of cancer on the morning of the 8th.

He has been in the WeChat group, and last year he said he went to Japan to see a doctor. Later he came back, and we thought he was cured. But I haven’t appeared in the group for a long time this year. Last week, I felt it and specially liked him in the group to ask about his condition. He never replied. I heard from friends that his illness was cured, and I was happy for him. But I didn't expect that only a few days later, I would hear the sad news of his death.

His optimism and open-mindedness impressed me deeply. I wish him a carefree, disease-free and pain-free life in another world. I wish him a good journey!
