Alexie raised an eyebrow, her scrutinizing gaze shifting back and forth between Lynn and Liu.

"You two... went out alone?"

There was a hint of amusement in her voice.

Ryu's cheeks flushed slightly, but she still stepped forward and explained calmly.

"It's for Kaguya's wedding."

"Oh?" Alexie's interest grew even stronger.

“A surprise,” Lynn said succinctly.

Alexie stared at him for a few seconds, then suddenly grinned, revealing a set of white teeth.

"Okay! I'll keep it a secret for you!" She patted her chest loudly. "But you'd better come back quickly, or I'm afraid I won't be able to keep my mouth shut!"

Lynn nodded and turned to leave with Liu.

The two left their residence and entered the bustling streets of Orario.

Ryu paused, turning her head slightly. "Why are you thanking me?"

"For Kaguya, and for me." Lynn's expression was serious. "Without you, I couldn't find Bio Valley by myself."

Ryu turned back and continued walking forward; "I just... wanted to make Kaguya happier."

Her voice was soft; "Besides, you saved us all, and I should thank you."

“Indeed, it’s a bit awkward to say thank you like that.” Lynn smiled. “We’re all family, so from now on, I won’t say thank you, and neither will you.”

Liu's steps suddenly stopped.
