"Maybe?"
Klein's curiosity was piqued.
“Yes,” Morion shrugged as he shuffled the cards, “with my appearance, it would be a piece of cake for me to impersonate a high elf or even an elven noble.”
“Impersonation?” Klein repeated.
“Yes, an imposter.” Morion smiled slightly and spread the tarot cards on the table. “Draw three cards.”
Klein suspiciously drew three cards.
When did I say I wanted to have my fortune told?
Klein wondered.
He felt like he was being led by the nose, but he couldn't shake off Moraine's friendly demeanor, which made it impossible for him to be on guard.
The first card.
Klein opened it.
It depicts a traveler carrying a bundle, accompanied by a small dog; the number on the tarot card is 0.
“Oh, this is the Fool card upright,” Moraine explained.
“Hmm.” Klein nodded and turned over the second card.
It was a burning, toppled tower with the number 16 on it.
“A reversed Tower card,” Moraine shook his head. “It doesn’t seem to have a good meaning.”
“Hmm…” Klein frowned.
He held the third card and gently turned it over.
Then, his eyebrows furrowed even more deeply.
Klein had never seen this card before and couldn't tell if it was upright or reversed. Instead of numbers, there were two "X"s written on the opposite corners.
There's a ball drawn in the middle of the card, and it looks somewhat familiar.
“This is a home-country card,” Moraine said, raising her hands in a surprised tone.
"This card isn't in the tarot deck!"
Moraine lowered her hands and said matter-of-factly:
"I put it in secretly."
"Is that not allowed?"
Klein took a deep breath, feeling his eyelids twitching again.
"you really……"
He looked at the card, and his voice suddenly stopped.
Blue spheres, a familiar distribution...
This "Hometown" card...
His eyes widened suddenly, and his pupils contracted sharply.
“This…this is…” he murmured.
Recalling what Morion had said not long ago, he suddenly had a bold guess, and looked up sharply, meeting Morion's gaze.
Morion smiled and extended his hand, and for the first time, he opened his mouth in front of Klein.
The familiar language reached Klein's ears, causing his eyes to suddenly well up with tears.
Let me introduce myself again.
Moraine said in a lighthearted tone.
“My surname is Mo and my given name is Morien, which means good fortune in the home and a blessing from heaven.”
“Mr. Klein…”
"What...is your surname?"

"I……"
Klein felt his eyes getting a little sore and couldn't help but close them.
He wanted to say his last name was "Moretti," but he knew that wasn't the answer Moraine wanted to hear.
Suddenly, Klein's lips curled into a smile.
He reopened his eyes, looked at Morion, and once again grasped the hand that Klein had extended.
“My surname is Zhou,” he replied with a smile in Chinese, “Zhou Mingrui.”
"It's a pleasure to meet you here."
…………
A few minutes later.
Moraine and Klein walked out of the "Citrine" room one after the other.
Morion walked briskly ahead, hands in his pockets. Klein followed behind, carrying his cane and top hat.
"Goodbye, Miss Angelica," Morien said to the receptionist.
"Goodbye," Klein said, raising his hand in greeting.
"Goodbye, Mr. Moretti. Goodbye, Mr. Moretti." Angelica, the receptionist, gave a slight bow, watching the two walk down the stairs, feeling a little strange.
Strange, when did their relationship become so good...?
"So, how did you find me?" Klein asked Morion curiously from the stairs.
"What I mean is, why did you come to me? Why do you think I'm a time traveler like you?"
They communicate in Chinese, so they don't have to worry about being overheard.
If questioned, they would say that they were speaking their hometown dialect.
"Hmm... wait while I write this down..." Morion stroked his chin.
"What? They're even doing live braiding...?"
“Ah, I’ve got it.” Morion snapped his fingers. “A month ago, I met a pirate at sea. I read his mind and learned about an organization called the ‘Tarot Society’.”
"Then, I became very curious, so I followed the clues and eventually arrived in Tingen City."
Moraine was not lying.
He had indeed read Alger's heart.
However, it might not be quite the same as what Klein imagined; Moraine learned it from a book.
When he heard Morion mention "Tarot Club," Klein suddenly felt a little embarrassed.
It didn't seem like a big deal on the gray fog, but when someone brings it up in person in real life, it feels so cringeworthy and embarrassing...
Klein screamed inwardly.
Mr. Hanged Man! You're the one who led the way!
Klein instantly identified the "murderer".
To ease the awkwardness, he asked Moraine:
"So, you found me based on just a few clues?"
"Hmph." Morien snorted proudly twice and chuckled, "Actually, I stopped being human a long time ago."
"Human power is limited."
"So you're a vampire now?" Klein looked Morion up and down, then glanced at the sunlight in the distance.
He's read JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
“Of course not,” Morion replied.
"Me? I'm probably a giant humanoid worm," Morion replied casually. "Didn't you use your psychic vision to see me? What, you didn't recognize me?"
“No.” Klein shook his head honestly. “In my spiritual vision, you are just an ordinary person with a powerful spirit.”
“Is that so?” Morion nodded, indicating his understanding.
It seems that, despite the mask, he still appears to be human.
"Hey Lao Zhou, your party looks like it'll be a lot of fun."
"Pull me in to have some fun," Moraine said with a grin. "I can even help you boost your status."
"Hmm... Just say I'm your collaborator, the great Ohmu."
“That… is no problem.” Klein assessed his spirituality. “Write down my name.”
Klein has given up entirely.
Moraine has already mentioned the name of the party and is now coming after him.
Then what's the point of performing?
"Oh, it's a three-part structure."
"Awesome, bro."
Soon, the two arrived at the roadside and Morion stopped a carriage.
"I'll be going now," Morion waved his hand. "Let's hang out together next Monday!"
“Uh… okay…” Klein replied.
"Goodbye."
"Goodbye."
After saying this, Moraine got into the carriage and drove away.
