Having come this far, what could Tsugumi possibly say? Explain? Was this thing in front of her even capable of understanding explanations?

He raised his head, looked at the phantom of the God of War, and felt the tyrannical, barbaric and bloodthirsty aura emanating from it. Then he slowly raised his hand—raising two middle fingers!

"Same here, aren't you Aphrodite's pretty boy too?" Tsurugi mocked.

"At least I wasn't caught in bed with another man by my own brother, then stripped naked and hung up, right? The great 'God of War' who's never won more than a few matches in his life?"

The words fell silent.

At this moment, the three hundred Theban holy soldiers also showed expressions of fear, in awe of Dongjiang's boldness and dread of Ares's wrath.

Sure enough, the next moment Ares roared in fury and gave the order.

“Kill him!!! Strip this pathetic pretty boy naked and gang rape him to death!!! Then tear him apart, chop him into mincemeat, grind his bones to dust, and splatter his blood on every inch of this arena—”

"I want to see how many breaths Aphrodite's favorite pretty boy can last under the siege of three hundred men."

Three hundred holy warriors simultaneously raised their weapons. Their movements were perfectly synchronized, like puppets controlled by the same invisible thread. The soles of their boots pounded the dark red stone slabs with a dull, unified rumble that echoed through the walls of the circular arena, coalescing into a deafening battle cry.

Looking at the legion of gay men who planned to rape and kill him first, Tsugumi slowly exhaled. He stretched his neck, making a slight cracking sound, and then slightly bent his knees.

"Fuck your mother!!!"

Tsurugi cursed Ares, then pounced out like lightning.

His hands were empty, he had no weapons, but did he need weapons? Those are things only the weak need!

The Saint Seiya's hands are their best weapon.

In a split second, Tsugumi charged into the ranks of this fanatical gay gang. Disgusted by their presence, he had no intention of using the Pegasus Meteor Fist.

His eyes remained closed as he pondered—temperature was a measure of the intensity of atomic motion. Everything is made of atoms, but this was a mythical world; such a fundamental unit didn't exist!

But that's alright, as long as I ponder and think about the basic units that make up all matter—the units that make up all matter, which I'll call atoms—are all undergoing their own different complex movements, and temperature is the key to determining the intensity of these atomic movements.

The higher the temperature of a substance, the more vigorously the atoms move. The lower the temperature, the slower the movement. The fundamental principle of destruction is to shatter the atoms, but what it aims to do is not to shatter the atoms but to stop their movement altogether—this is the battle of ice.

Can you do it?

Tsugumi activated her enlightened understanding in an attempt to reproduce the technique—

I think it's easy, I think it's perfectly possible!

He spread his arms, and in an instant, it seemed as if a pair of pure white swan wings appeared behind him. Ice formed a structure on his body like a holy armor to resist the overwhelming aura of these gay men.

Then, he put his hands together in front of him, took a deep breath towards the more than three hundred gay muscle men, and then launched an attack!

"Diamond Dust Fist!!!"

The surging freezing air burst forth like a blizzard in an instant, turning the three hundred Theban Holy Army soldiers into motionless ice sculptures in a flash!

The moment Tsurugi withdrew his hand, the three hundred ice and snow statues shattered instantly, and his finger pointed at Ares, blatantly taunting him.

"You lowly god! You lowly follower! You dare call yourself a war god? Bah!!!"

729. Battle against Ares, I don't want to be targeted by Zeus!

Ares was Aphrodite's lover—or rather, the goddess of beauty probably slept with every male god on Mount Olympus except Zeus!

She was the most troublesome of all, the most problematic of all, which is why Tsurue was very reluctant to get close to her.

Aside from her obsessive-compulsive disorder, it's because she's bound to attract the attention of the gods.

And it is quite obvious that Ares is a narrow-minded god.

Interestingly, although Zeus himself was a versatile and sexually active individual, his two sons with Hera, his principal wife, Ares and Hephaestus, were both male deities with very normal sexual orientations.

But Zeus' other divine sons, from Apollo to Hermes to Dionysus, all had two-way power.

Therefore, Ares did not have the concept of 'philanthropy'. Like Hephaestus, they were among the very few gods in mythology who would be jealous of Aphrodite, a goddess with a naturally promiscuous nature, and thus act unwisely out of envy.

Therefore, Tsurugi never expected Ares to understand him from the beginning, even if he explained it clearly, it would be useless, because a man's jealousy is irrational.

Then let's skip the nonsense and just fight!

Come on, whoever chickens out is a coward!!!

After Tsurugi annihilated Ares's three hundred Theban holy soldiers, the enraged God of War threw ten chimeras into the arena!

These enormous monsters have the wings of eagles, the heads of lions, the bodies of goats, and the tails of snakes; they possess venom and fire, the power to fly, and the ability to resist imitation.

Ares seemed convinced that Tsurugi had used the magical methods he despised to kill his warrior.

Tsugumi didn't continue to provoke him. Instead, she lowered her hands into a hand-blade stance and gathered the power of her cosmos in her hands.

Eeya!!

Unleashing a technique from the Capricorn Gold Saint, named Excalibur, Tsugumi leaped into the Chimera.

In an instant, he was surrounded and faced with the blazing flames spewed out by ten chimeras.

A terrifying heat, hot enough to melt steel, enveloped him, but he easily dodged it. He leaped onto a chimera and then grabbed its tail as it lunged to bite.

The brilliance of the Holy Sword Hand Chop flashed and disappeared in an instant. The next second, the chimera was dismembered into four pieces!

Chimeras? Terrifying monsters, but we still killed them!

Immediately afterwards, Ares dropped down twelve bronze birds that were soaring in the sky. They had bronze wings, beaks, and claws, and their feathers were as sharp as arrows.

Tsurugi displayed the qualities of a valiant warrior. After dodging countless feathers, he created an opening and jumped onto one of them as it swooped down. He then used it to kill all the bronze monsters in the sky!

The Stinfalis Lake Monster? A terrifying monster, but we still managed to kill it!

Ares began to unleash more monsters, resurrected warriors, or other things.

Without exception, they all fell at the hands of Tsurugi!

Chop! Chop! And then another chop!

With each battle, the power of his Sixth Sense Cosmo was completely integrated into his body.

And so, soon, amidst the mountains of monster corpses, the proudly standing Saint pointed to that crimson phantom.

"Is that all? Ares, there's no need to test you anymore, go and do it yourself!"

"Mortal, you are a brave warrior!"

To everyone's surprise, Ares seemed to have calmed down, his initial jealousy gone, and instead looked at Tsugumi with an appreciative tone.

"Mortal, you are not a demigod. I do not know where your power comes from, but your courage and ruthlessness have earned my respect!!!"

"But you will still die!"

"Whether you willingly become Aphrodite's lover or not, I will never let you go for this reason alone!"

He is a warrior, without a doubt. At the age of thirteen, he can easily kill so many monsters. There are few such warriors even in Greece!

Ares respected the warrior, even though he looked too weak—but this only highlighted his bravery and strength!

Well, although he wasn't interested in that, Ares was still fascinated by the boy.

But despite his joy, Ares's determination to kill him remains unchanged!

"Then stop your endless rambling and nonsense," Tsurugi said bluntly.

"Either you kill me, or I kill you. Do you need so many reasons to kill someone? Once a war is started, there are no reasons or excuses!"

"Hahahaha, I'm starting to appreciate you! Very well, your head will be my spoils!"

As Ares laughed wildly, the next moment, crimson lightning, accompanied by a raging storm, gathered before the Tsurugi River!

That was not a phantom, not a projection, not a wisp of will cast by a deity through the clouds—it was the true, complete form of the God of War, descending to the mortal realm with all his divine power.

The gale ceased in an instant, and the afterglow of the lightning flowed along the ground, scorching the dark red stone slabs with molten marks. The air was filled with the pungent smell of sulfur and rust. And within the core of the lightning, a figure slowly solidified.

Ares was not as large as the phantom. When he descended in his true form, he was only half a head taller than an ordinary man, but the power contained within his body was a hundred times heavier than that of the phantom that was more than ten feet tall.

He was clad entirely in dark gold armor, which was not smooth as a mirror, but covered with marks from sword cuts and axe strikes, dents from arrow piercings, and scorch marks—medals left by countless victories and slaughters. His shoulder armor was covered by a deep red cloak, as if it were trophies woven from the blood of countless defeated warriors.

Then, he removed his helmet—unlike his mad nature, Ares possessed a handsome face inherited from both his parents, with rugged and hard lines, a broad jaw, a high nose bridge, and a pair of crimson eyes like burning embers, deeply set beneath his thick eyebrows. The corners of his lips were slightly upturned, carrying a bloodthirsty smile that locked onto his prey.

Ares slowly raised his right hand, his five fingers spread. In the void, a spear materialized and landed in his palm. The spear was dark red, as if cast from congealed blood, with fine patterns winding around its body, within which flowed a scalding, magma-like golden light.

This is his spear of creation, Quirinus, which also proclaims that Ares' authority will be great as a Roman in that era after the fall of Greece.

Of course, that kind of future belongs to Roman mythology, while in Greek mythology, Ares is destined to constantly serve as a stepping stone for being beaten.

But as I said before, "stepping stone" is relative to overpowered characters in the current version. Being able to be a stepping stone is itself a kind of certification of strength!

The moment Ares descended, Tsugumi knew that she, as a mortal, could not achieve victory.

"Mortals," Ares began, his voice deeper and more resonant than when he was in his phantom form, carrying a resonance like the simultaneous roar of a thousand horses.

"Your courage deserves praise. I will kill you with my own hands and hang your head on my chariot, so that all the gods may see that the beautiful youth who bewitched Aphrodite is ultimately nothing more than a headless corpse."

Tsurugi opened her eyes, her golden pupils reflecting the burning crimson.

"Finished?" he asked, a smile playing on his lips. "Then let's begin."

There was no fear in his eyes. Fear? Why should he be afraid? To him, life was just a huge game. Would you be afraid of dying in a game?

To celebrate one's life as a mortal is to do whatever one wants to do—whether it's slacking off or enjoying the thrill of battle!

Before he finished speaking, he made the first move.

His sixth sense surged to its peak in an instant, and his inner universe exploded within him like a ignited star. He concentrated all his power into his right fist, and in a flash, he transformed into a streak of light, rushing straight toward Ares like a golden comet.

His speed surpassed the limits of what the naked eye could perceive, and exceeded the sound barrier. His fist tore a white trail through the air, carrying a force powerful enough to pierce mountains, aiming straight for the God of War's throat.

Pegasus Comet Fist!

Ares didn't dodge. He didn't even blink. He raised his left arm, using his forearm to protect his throat. Tsurugi's fist slammed into the dark gold arm armor, producing a dull, thunderous roar. The shockwave spread outwards from the two of them, cracking the surrounding stone stands of the arena.

Dongjiang's punch was powerful enough to shatter a chimera's skull and pierce through the armor of the Holy War Army, yet it only left a shallow white mark on Ares's arm armor.

Ares grinned, revealing his gleaming white teeth.

"Push harder," he said, as if in response to Tsurugi's provocation.

Dongjiang quickly withdrew his fist and retreated, his toes barely touching the ground as he took more than ten steps backward, his figure as elusive as a willow catkin. But Ares did not give him a chance to create distance; his dark red spear shot out like a venomous snake emerging from its hole, leaving only a dark red streak in the air.
