"Soon, he will vanish amidst my laughter."

"King of Crimson! King of Crimson!! King of Crimson!!!"

Behind the portal, the fully equipped army of hell was roaring and cheering.

Hundreds of thousands of demons stomped their feet and roared simultaneously, their voices echoing through the dark clouds from the portal, shaking the rubble of the Gates of Heaven. Some pounded their shields with axes, while others let out ear-piercing screams, grabbing their companions' shoulders and shaking them wildly.

Among them was the horned demon who had given his speech in Satan's Milk Tavern; he stood on the back of a hellhound, arms outstretched, his eyes burning with an almost religious fanaticism.

"See that?!" The horned demon's voice was hoarse. He pointed behind the screen, beyond the portal to heaven, and roared at the surrounding demons, "That's our king! That's our fucking king!!"

"He has surpassed the King of Heaven!!!"

With a painful scream, Sila's body turned into white light and disappeared and reformed. This time, she dared not be careless at all.

As her body reformed, she transformed into her angelic form: a twelve-winged, twenty-three-eyed angel of death.

"It's over, demon!!" she roared, her twelve wings unfurling simultaneously, each eye gathering silver light, weaving a seamless, silvery-white net of light.

"Return to nothingness!!!"

She no longer cared that this was paradise; she had to completely destroy this demon right now!

A barrage of arrows rained down, plunging the world into darkness. The angels in Heaven had to shield their eyes with their wings, the intensity of the light exceeding their limits. Even on the Hell side, despite being separated by a portal, the imps in the front ranks were burned in the peripheral light, screaming and shrinking back.

Dongjiang opened its mouth, and what spewed from the dragon's maw was not fire and lightning, but profound darkness. A flowing, living torrent of humanity and evil surged towards Xira's net of light!

Darkness and the net of light collided in mid-air, producing a deafening roar indescribable in words. The colossal net of murderous intent struck the darkness of the abyss, the two most extreme forces tearing at each other in mid-air. Silver light and darkness intertwined, tumbled, and waxed and waned. The marble ground beneath Dongjiang's feet could not withstand this pressure and began to crumble piece by piece, falling from the clouds.

Then, darkness won.

The darkness not only tore the light net apart, but it also devoured the fragments of the light net, chewing up, swallowing, and turning those silvery-white debris into its own nourishment.

Sila couldn't believe that she had lost so decisively in this firefight, and the demon in front of her was already charging towards her.

Tsurugi leaped into the air, enveloped by darkness. His triple bone wings unfurled to their limit, black magic erupting from the gaps in every scale, leaving a trail that tore through the sky behind him. His claws extended continuously as he flew, each bone spur at his fingertips yearning for the blood of angels.

"At the end of all things, only fear remains!"

Fear gripped Sila's heart in that instant. Instinctively, she folded all her wings, her twelve wings enveloping her in a giant, silver cocoon filled with eyes, attempting to use it to block Tsurugi's attack.

As it turned out, this was a very wrong choice.

Faced with Sira, whom he had chosen to become a target, Tsurugi raised his sharp claws.

His body was covered in jet-black scales, and seven crowns appeared atop his head—red of rage, gold of greed, green of envy, and...

Pink, lazy gray, gluttonous orange, arrogant purple

The power of the Seven Deadly Sins merged into one claw, and the phantom of the Crimson King appeared behind Tsurugi. At that moment, Sira, who was being corrupted by space, immediately tried to turn around and escape.

This was yet another terrible choice.

Dongjiang's speed increased instantly, and its claws once again pierced through Xila's open chest without any hindrance!

Sila's twenty-three eyes snapped open. She felt the seven curses, the seven malices, spreading upwards through her body.

The filth from hell is defiling her pure body and soul.

Sila let out an unstoppable cry of despair, feeling her very essence being irrevocably defiled, destroyed, and ruined.

"You're scared." Tsugumi's voice came from close by, six eyes watching the turbulent emotions surging in her pupils with mockery, and she said softly.

"I smell your fear, your will to hate, so sweet, so pathetic..."

Sira shrieked and exploded a pair of wings. The silver holy light forced Tsurugi back half a step, buying him the instant his giant claw could rip from her chest. Then, she did something that no supreme six-winged angel of Heaven had ever done in countless years—she fled.

Her remaining wings fluttered simultaneously, her silver hair scattered, her broken wings trailed golden blood, and something solidified on her face—something she refused to acknowledge but her body fully believed. Her lips trembled.

"This is impossible," or "Who are you?" or "This isn't the power of a demon"—she couldn't utter a single one of those polite phrases. She simply fled. With all her might, with every last ounce of strength she had accumulated throughout her life, she fled towards the still-shining final barrier of the Seventh Heaven.

Behind her, the gates of Heaven were gone. Pearl-white ruins lay scattered on the ground, and the true angels in Heaven seemed to finally realize what had happened; they trembled in fear, bewildered.

How could this be? How could Sila have lost? And to a demon at that!

But regardless, that's the reality. Looking at the sacred paradise before her, Tsugumi laughed wildly, driven by an indescribable, destructive urge.

He opened his gaping maw and spewed out deadly flames and lightning, instantly piercing the dome of the Temple of Hymns. Golden fragments fell along with the angels' screams.

Dongjiang spread his arms, and in the next moment, thousands upon thousands of black portals unfolded behind him! Dongjiang turned to face the endless and fanatical army of demons, his seven crowns burning above his head, and his six eyes scanning the hellish army below, watching them roar in excitement.

Ah, finally, this feels like the transition from hell to heaven!

Evil, boundless evil, its authority in hell was absolutely manifested at the moment it breached heaven!

Without uttering a single word, Tsurugi pointed its giant claw towards the direction of heaven and roared...

"Go, my sinful son, turn this place into hell, pollute this pure land!!!"

The torrent of demons surged from those gates, engulfing the pearly white ruins, the trembling angels, and the first heaven, rushing towards the deeper sanctuary.

The rampaging demons laughed wildly as they slaughtered the derelict angels, while ROO, hidden above the void, laughed maniacally as he watched the falling sky.

Did you see it, Yahweh, the moment your paradise fell!

Delve into the infinite treasures of the heavens,

565. The Cowardly True Angel

The moment the first layer of heaven was torn open, it heralded a tremendous change that had not occurred in this land of virtuous virtue for tens of millions of years.

The true angels who had driven away humanity stared in disbelief at the silver dome from which they had fallen, at the hooves of rams burning with hellfire as they trampled upon the pure land.

And what was their reaction? Was it to rise up in resistance? Was it to demonstrate strength?

No, if a race has been immersed in absolute peace and tranquility since its birth, then that race itself cannot possess something like 'courage'.

These angels are holy yet without edge. Even though the radiance in their hands is the natural enemy of demons, when they dare not resist and can only retreat timidly and try to make peace in the face of the overwhelming invaders, it is meaningless to possess any amount of power.

One after another, the so-called true angels, who were supposed to be soldiers of Heaven, weakly picked up their dust-covered angelic steel spears and trembled as they faced the menacing army of demons.

Their power far surpasses that of demons, but these demons in hell fight for their survival almost every day. They are fearless and driven by pure madness and ferocity.

Therefore, these ridiculous legions of angels were pounced on by the demons like helpless lambs, their holy bodies defiled, and then torn apart and destroyed as they howled in further fear.

"Get out of heaven, you vile beasts!"

When a true angel mustered the courage to resist the beast before him, his radiant holy light was directed at the horned demon, and he could purify the filthy red-skinned beast as soon as he got close!

But before that, cursed bullets, a mixture of fire and scorching sulfur spewed from the hellish industry, had already struck the body of the true angel.

These cursed weapons, forged from the fiery rivers flowing through hell and from twisted industry, were created by Mammon and Beelzebub. This world is a place where a certain Lord turned the human realm into an endless meat grinder in order to punish humanity.

Of course, these technologies are of little use to the demon kings, but in this hellish place with its already considerable industrial capabilities, they are enough to produce enough power to make these cannon fodder little demons deal with these angels.

The entire preparation time for Hell's war was spent creating these weapons capable of killing angels.

A bullet carrying the blasphemous curse of Goetia struck the arm of a true angel. The filth and curse spread instantly, and the excruciating pain, accompanied by the soul-crushing incantation, shattered the courage that the true angel had finally mustered.

He let out a scream of pain, followed by terror, and then—he actually knelt on the ground, begging for mercy from the demon before him.

"No, please, stop! I surrender! Do you want me to eat your shit? I will!"

This angel, who may have existed since the beginning of creation, knelt down without hesitation before a lowly little devil holding a gun, begging for his magnanimity.

Such a pathetic and ugly state only earned him a cursed bullet that pierced one of his eyeballs, which were intertwined in the rings around his head. The curse and pain, magnified a thousandfold, shattered the angel, causing him to tear his own body apart alive.

The horned demon Sitra, having just accomplished the feat of single-handedly killing a true angel, was panting heavily, his eyes gleaming even brighter as he laughed maniacally and raised his weapon high.

"Look! I make angels kneel, I make holiness submit! I am the fucking God!!!"

bump!!!

The next second, that head, which was filled with crazy pleasure, was blown apart by a stray bullet that flew from behind.

Who fired the shot? It's impossible to know for sure now; the demons have long since fallen into boundless fanaticism since entering Heaven.

They never imagined the war would go so smoothly.

It could be said that they didn't even have a moment to shed blood before the moment of reaping the rewards arrived.

They plundered everything in heaven—wealth, treasures, or things they didn't even know what they were.

Even the angels themselves—well, thankfully, the images of these true angels are mostly much more abstract than those of demons, so even if these fallen demons have such desires, they can't find an outlet for them.

Even so, these angels, who have existed since the beginning of creation, are still subjected to mass slaughter and torture by these demons.

After the fall of the gates of Heaven, the First Heaven quickly became an outpost of Hell above the clouds. The city walls were smeared with blasphemous runes written in the golden blood of angels by the nobles of Goetia. The stone slabs inscribed with ancient holy words were chipped off one by one, appraised on the spot by the appraisers of the Ring of Greed, packed into boxes, and transported to Hell.

A gluttonous demon with a large belly and covered in bullet chains sat on a collapsed doorpost, picking his teeth with a spear made of angel steel, while three pairs of wings, still twitching slightly, lay at his feet.

In the former site of Eden, a blasphemous massacre and destruction took place.

This heavenly garden, the birthplace of the first humankind, is where the roots of the first tree planted by God's own hands at the creation of the world took hold. For millennia, only the purest souls have been allowed to tread upon this meadow. The streams are liquid morning light, the flowers never fade, and the fruit on the trees never rot.

The cherubim who guarded this place were only to tend the garden and then sing psalms in the eternal sunlight. When they saw packs of hellhounds leaping over the broken fence, they attempted to seal the garden entrance with holy light. The barrier shattered into points of light when the first mortar shells fell.

The Mourner Heavy Mortar, from Hell Industries and mass-produced by Mammon's Armory, has Goetia's blasphemous incantations engraved on its shell. It traces green parabolas in mid-air before falling into the heart of the ancient Eden.

The explosion kicked up a cloud of golden dust and torn roots. A branch of the Tree of Life was severed, and scalding golden sap, like blood, flowed from the break.

The cherubim screamed and scattered, their wings charred black by the thick sulfurous smoke. One cherub had half her wing ripped off by shrapnel and fell into the stream. She struggled to lift her head and saw a demon with an angry ring walking towards her across the flowerbeds on the opposite bank.

The demon was covered in blasphemous grenades, and a spinning chainsaw axe was tucked into its belt, the blade still covered in golden bits of flesh and angel feathers.

"No...no, you can't—" The cherubim's voice was drowned out by the roar of the chainsaw axe, followed by inhuman wails and screams.

But setting aside the looting and slaughter, the most terrifying thing was the front line of the battle.

The truly organized army of Hell is advancing here. The vanguard is composed of blasphemous sinners from the Pride Ring, heavily armored cavalry from the Wrath Ring, and war engineers from the Greed Ring. Their troops are drawn from the most ferocious and elite demons in the history of the Seven Rings of Hell.

These demons love to kill each other and attempt to assassinate Getia nobles in Hell, and this ferocity and ruthlessness translates into the most ruthless elite soldiers on the battlefield.

The weapons of this force come from Hell's own industrial accumulation over millions of years, as well as from cursed technology from the heretical world personally provided by Mammon. That technology once turned the human world of another world into a meat grinder, and now it has been modified and adapted by Mammon and Beelzebub for use on the battlefield of Heaven.

Of course, the majority of the army was still filled by the legions led by the Getian nobles. However, these nobles' legions had not seen blood for many years, and their combat effectiveness was not much better than that of the scattered soldiers who began to plunder as soon as they entered hell.

But no matter what, they are still far superior to angels.
