Vox roughly ordered the guards at the 3V Tower to move, but the thugs he hired were dragged inside as soon as they got close, and disappeared after a few screams.

This made all the sinners in the entire 3V Tower tremble with fear and whisper among themselves, with no one daring to touch the crowd.

Vox's expression turned grim. He instantly transformed into electricity and appeared in front of the 3V Tower, blasting a criminal out. The criminal, amidst the blood and gore, roared brutally at the other criminals.

"This is private property, get out of here, all of you!!!"

However, even with his threats, none of the sinners backed down; instead, they silently made way for him.

"It's you!" Vox gritted his teeth as he stared at Tsugumi approaching, trying to calm his agitated emotions and forcing a smile.

"I don't think this is the normal procedure for communication, 'Father'~~~~"

"No, Vox, I'm only here to bring back my apostle," Tsurugi said softly, looking at Vox.

“Anthony Durst, or Angel, he is our brother and sister, the redeemed lamb, he does not belong to you.”

“Angel? How interesting.” Vox sneered.

"The princess of hell claims her body belongs to them, Valentino holds his soul in his hands, so what do you have of his?"

“His faith, everything he was.” Tsugumi spread her hands.

“I don’t want to make things too ugly. You see, I don’t even need to resort to violence. I just need to say one thing to my followers—”

He paused, then said with great interest

"You're passionate about media and journalism, and you believe that propaganda on screen is the most powerful weapon in the world. As a media professional, why don't you guess which is more powerful: faith or journalism?"

"Do you think the people you hypnotize believe you more, or the sinners influenced by my propaganda?"

Vox's screen displayed expressions of suppressed anger and fear. He knew, of course he knew.

Faith! In any era, the loyal 'fans' cultivated by faith are the ultimate ideal of any media!

Even a shallow believer's loyalty is unmatched by program fans or individual fan groups. It can be said that turning the target audience into believers is the ultimate goal of these media professionals.

Vox's ultimate goal in life was to turn his subordinates into his loyal followers—and that's where he met his end, dying in hell.

"You are truly powerful, Your Holiness the Pope of Hell."

Vox forced a sarcastic remark

"You flatter me. I don't like violence." Tsugumi smiled gently. "But purity doesn't mean being without edge."

"You'd better hurry, or you and your career will be ruined."

"Wait!" Vox shouted, then transformed into lightning and rushed to the door of Valentino's studio, kicking it open.

"Val!" Vox flung open the door, his face turning grim as he stared at Valentino, who was abusing Angel.

"Throw this trash out right now, we're in trouble!"

"What? Why? No way!!!" Valentino finished torturing Angel and glared at Vox, screaming.

"He's my precious baby, I'm not giving him away! Who's causing trouble again? I'll kill them!!!"

Without hesitation, the hot-tempered Valentino flew over and grabbed two pistols, but Vox held him back.

“Listen to me, Valentino, listen to me!” he growled, gripping Valentino’s shoulders tightly.

"If we go to war with that charlatan, we'll all die without a doubt! Don't forget he took care of Zez in one go, and—look outside!"

He dragged Valentino to the window, pointing to the figures outside who were following the river, filling almost several city blocks.

"Look at these guys, they're all followers of that priest! They make up at least a tenth of the population of Pentagram City! Do you know what that means? It means that even without going to war with us, he can destroy our cause with a single word!"

Valentino, though still furious, fell silent upon seeing the vast army of believers. He folded his wings and cursed in despair.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! For over thirty years, I haven't experienced such humiliation!!!"

“Me too, but Valentino, we have to be patient—” Vox reassured his old friend, as a malevolent face flashed on the television screen.

“We don’t need to endure for too long. Now that he’s stopped pretending, we can find enough people to oppose him. And you don’t need to give up on that little bitch, since her soul is in your hands anyway.”

"Aaaaah—Vox, remember what you said!!!"

After much persuasion from Vox, Valentino finally let Angel go.

Dongjiang kept his promise and brought back Angel, after which the vast horde of sinful believers returned home. But there's no doubt that tonight's massive mobilization had already made a declaration and proof to the entire circle of pride—

This martyr has gradually become the true 'king' of the Pentagram City!

After Tsurugi left with Angel, Vox planned to have a fight with Valentino to appease him before dealing with the huge backlash.

Just as Vox was almost naked—the word "call in progress" appeared on his screen.

"Hey, Vivette? What's up?" Vox asked, sounding annoyed.

"Stop talking nonsense, Vox, I need you here right now!" Violet looked unhappy, or rather, wary.

"What happened again?" Vox, dressed, transformed into electricity and emerged, while Violet gestured with her chin towards his back.

"Look behind you, you flat-faced prince, your long-awaited father has arrived."

"What--"

"Oh, VOX, long time no see."

That voice, which in every sense truly was Vox's 'longing,' came from behind. The head of the television turned around, looked at the smiling figure, and gritted his teeth.

"Alastor, you old fogey, what brings you back! This is the age of new media!"

Your approach is outdated!

"Oh, really?" Alastor looked at Vox with amusement, walking towards him step by step with his cane, tilting his head as he looked at him.

What if I said I came to join you?

“…What?”

Vox stared at him in disbelief, while Alastor stepped forward, straightened Vox's collar, and whispered...

"Yes, I'm serious."

Trinity Kill Kill Kill: 525. Atonement Completed and Lucifer's Visit

Angel woke up from his dream.

They also awaken from the boundless hatred and pain brought about by their own sins.

He sat up blankly from the obsidian floor, looked up, and stared at everything in front of him.

This is a church, a world completely different from the outside world.

Outside, Pentagram City was noisy, dirty, filled with neon lights and harsh curses, but the moment you stepped into the church, all the noise from the outside world seemed to be choked by an invisible hand.

Silence, a suffocating silence that weighs on the heart.

The dome was so high it seemed to touch the eternal crimson sky of the Pride Ring, yet the dome itself was pitch black, sprinkled with golden stars, like an inverted starry sky. The seven-pointed star wheel hovered directly below the dome, slowly rotating, and with each rotation, a chilling sense of oppression filled the air.

The main colors inside the church are black and gold. On both sides of the black marble colonnade, there is a candlestick every few meters. The pale flames on the candlesticks do not flicker or leap, like solidified eyeballs, staring straight at every passing figure.

At the very center beneath the dome stands a sacred table, or rather, an altar. It is a single piece of obsidian, cut into the shape of a cross, approximately ten meters long, stretching across the very center of the church's nave. The altar is covered with densely packed text, not belonging to any language known to Angel, yet understandable to every observer.

—Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Angel, who was Italian, vividly remembered Matthew 7:7, verse 8.

Looking upwards along all of this, Angel saw what truly shocked her.

That was a mural

The mural depicts a trial. Countless souls are piled up like mountains, angels descend with flames from the sky, and demons extend their claws from the earth. In the center of the painting, on a golden throne, sits a human figure—the face is not clearly visible, but the seven-pointed star behind him is exactly the same as that of Tsurugi.

He was like Zeus in ancient Greek paintings, pressing down with his right hand. What he released from his palm was not thunder, but countless thin golden chains that wrapped around every soul in the painting who looked up.

All intentions and ambitions are laid bare before this mural.

Good morning! How does it feel to have a free spirit?

Tsurugi's voice sounded behind Angel. Instinctively, fear drove Angel to his knees on the ground. As she approached, Angel was met with Tsurugi's almost gentle help.

"You don't need to kneel. You have already passed the test and become a true innocent person. You don't need to kneel before anyone."

Angel stared blankly at Tsurugi's genuine smile of relief, his lips moved slightly, and he gritted his teeth, slapping his hand away.

"You liar! You've deceived all of us!!!"

"Deception? What makes you say that?" Tsugumi looked at Angel and asked with great interest.

“Angel, Anthony, tell me, how does your soul feel now?”

How he felt... Angel couldn't describe it, but if he had to say, he felt 'refreshed'.

Before this, he felt like a person trapped in a shell. Of course, he didn't feel this way then, but now, after this...

At this moment, Angel's senses were already very clear.

He broke through a layer of limitations and concealment that even he himself was unaware of, truly exposing himself and wandering in this hellish abyss.

He never imagined that this place would be so terrible.

Even just through memory, the omnipresent smell of sulfur mixed with rust was so nauseating that his soul suddenly could not adapt to this place, could not adapt to hell!

"Ugh!!!" Angel covered his mouth and dry heaved, and seeing his condition, Tsugumi patted him on the shoulder to comfort him.

"Don't be nervous, this is normal at first. Your cleansed souls can't adapt to the environment of hell, so I personally suggest you stay here."

"Just like them."

Following the direction Tsurugi pointed, Angel saw hundreds of busy figures inside the church. They all looked like sinners, demons, and—exactly like Angel.

"You turned our souls into this state just to trap us?" Angel said bitterly.

"No, no, no, no, I told you, I only purified the sins in your souls." Tsuruga waved her hand.

"You feel uncomfortable simply because a pure soul would never be used to this place—would anyone like living in a cesspool?"
