When a card game club is pulled into the Yu-Gi-Oh! world by the system

How should I put it? This guy would challenge him to a duel every time he got stronger; you could say he watched him grow stronger...

Although it's strange to use the identity of this month's guardian, it's common knowledge that he is the true person, and his qualifications and strength make it perfectly reasonable for him to say so.

"Hey, did you think I was just trying to fool you when I said that last time? Hey, hey, I racked my brains to come up with that!"

Upon hearing this, Shenwu Shou was speechless. How could someone bully the feelings of an innocent young man like this?

"No, because those words sound cool, but in reality they're just so-so, or rather, a little embarrassing... My turn, draw a card!"

The situation is really difficult. I have one face-down card and one card that can negate monster effects, but unfortunately, this is a HERO deck, which is very reliant on monster effects...

While negating a single monster might seem easy, in reality, this one card can completely shut you down...

"If I normally summon [Elemental HERO Blaze] and activate its effect, will it be ineffective?"

Flames rise, and the hero with fiery fists arrives!

However, upon seeing the opposing Phoenix Sword Saint, this hero silently withdrew his flame effects...

The flames on the other side look way cooler than my own special effects, so I'd better not embarrass myself any further...

"No, you continue. I'll invalidate it when you summon a Fusion Hero, since Hero decks don't have high attack power."

Shenwu Shou said with a smile, "We're old rivals, how could I not know the other's monsters? Besides, I even looked up some information afterward, and without the effects, none of them had an original attack power exceeding 3000."

"If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can activate this effect. Add 1 'Fusion' card from your Deck to your hand. Then activate the Spell Card 'Fusion' immediately!"

After acquiring the monster, Chang Yan didn't hesitate. Having already made up his mind, he directly slapped out the fusion in his hand.

"Use the Elemental HERO Blaze on the field and the Elemental HERO Shadow Mist Lady in your hand as Fusion Material —"

"Oh, a new fusion monster?"

I've never seen anything like this before...

Watching the two streaks of light rush into the vortex of light, Shenwu Shou was also very curious about what kind of monster it was.

"The pulse of lava will awaken the world, and a fiery new star will be born here!"

"Fusion Summoning - [Elemental Heroes Nova Lord]!"

Elemental Heroes Nova

Star rating: 8

Attribute: Fire

Race: Warrior

Attack: 2600

Defense: 2100

The planet's veins burst open, spewing incredibly hot lava into the sky.

The hero, bathed in lava, transformed into a shooting star and fell from the sky, shattering into rings of fire that swept around him.

The new Star Lord, despite his simple effects, has surprisingly become a popular pick, probably because his name is just too cool, completely different from other heroes...

"Wow, this hero is so cool!"

Looking at this hero in flames, Shenwu Shou felt himself being impressed by his coolness.

"Activate the effect of [Elemental HERO Mist Lady] to add [Elemental HERO Liquid Man] to your hand."

"Haha, then watch out for my performance—Field spell [Skyscraper] activated!"

(Actually, I wanted to use the new card [Skyscraper Strike], but after thinking about it, the effect of this card seems too strong in this era........)

The towering skyscraper slowly rose from the ground, and the blazing new star stood atop the building, its scrutinizing gaze fixed on the Divine Might Sword Saint.

"Simata!"

Chang Yan actually brought this card; I've never seen him bring it before!

This card has absolutely no effect on Masked Heroes!

"You know the effect of this card! When an Elemental HERO monster attacks a monster with higher ATK, the attacking monster's ATK increases by 1000 during damage calculation!"

"Battle! [Elemental Hero Nova Master] attacks [Divine Phoenix Sword Saint Gia Fried], Flame Nova!"

Flames descended from the sky. The new star lord, standing atop the skyscraper, stomped his foot on the ground and transformed into a crimson streak, charging straight at the Divine Might Sword Saint. The two warriors, both belonging to the fire-attribute warrior race, began a fierce battle.

The Lava Fist descended rapidly with unstoppable momentum, its imposing force threatening to shatter the entire space.

Faced with such a powerful attack, the Divine Sword Saint merely discarded his useless shield, drew another sword from behind him, and began to charge up his power.

Hmm, a sword called "Masked Hero Acid Water"...

The exploding lava nova, carrying incredibly high temperatures, crashed into the Divine Might Sword Saint. Just as the meteor was about to fall in front of him, the Divine Might Sword Saint drew his sword.

Like a sword that could cleave through everything, it was drawn from its sheath, its incredibly sharp blade reflecting the images of the surrounding buildings in an instant.

A single, cold glint in the night sky was so sharp, but the massive, oppressive lava meteor was filled with endless savagery.

"Muda!"

"Eora!"

The moment they collided was as if two worlds had violently collided.

The explosive force and the scorching flames burned everything around it, almost frantically plundering the nutrients in the air.

Two warriors wielding flames have turned this area into a no-man's land.

The scorching hell is off-limits to the living.

"Ora ora ora ora ora————!"

"Wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big————!"

The Fist of Nova and the Sword of Divine Might clashed repeatedly, and strange noises emanated from the mouths of the two warriors.

Whether it's a thrust, a heavy hammer blow, a slash, or a block—

The steel fist and the divine sword clashed repeatedly, producing a continuous series of crisp sounds. In just a few seconds, the two collided countless times.

There were no sparks jumping around, because both of them were covered in fire.

Countless afterimages intersected between the two, and just watching them was enough to cause intense eye strain; this was a battle that no ordinary person could witness.

Seemingly realizing that continuing the stalemate would yield no result, the two warriors separated after a clash, deciding to settle the score with a single, all-out attack.

A phoenix cries out, and a volcano erupts.

Various strange and illusory phenomena appeared as the power between the two increased, but behind these phenomena stood the silent skyscraper.

[Elemental Heroes Nova Master] Attack Power: 2600 → 3600

"Eora—!"

"Mu Da————!"

A new star exploded, and divine power roared.

In the instant of the collision, towering flames engulfed everything.

The Fist of Nova stopped perfectly in front of the Sword Saint, while the sword that Kamui had unleashed was covered with spiderweb-like cracks.

"Ping—"

The blade broke apart inch by inch.

Why did I lose?

The Divine Sword Saint looked at his shattered sword and uttered this silent question.

Because I am a hero.

The eyes behind Nova's main helmet gradually brightened, and he slowly withdrew his fist.

What does this have to do with heroes?

Don't you know? A hero's fighting power is purely subjective!

The wind blew through the area, carrying away the lingering heat.

As long as there are people cheering us on, as long as there are people who want us to be there —

That hero is the strongest!

The new star clenched his fist, his hero's cloak burning with an indomitable flame.

Shenwu Hunter LP: 4000→3600

"If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, activate this effect. Draw 1 card from your Deck."

Moon Guardian's full hand count: 4

"Next, set one card face down. End of turn."

The common saying nowadays is that you have more cards in your hand, while your opponent doesn't seem to have enough...

"At this moment, I open the face-down card and activate the Continuous Trap Card [Double Erosion] — During either player's Main Phase, you can discard 1 card from your hand to activate one of two effects. I choose to Special Summon 1 Double Monster from my Deck. The monster Special Summoned by this effect is treated as if it were Summoned again."

"Come forth, my soul, [Phoenix Sword Saint Gia Fried]!"

The phoenix is immortal; it is reborn every time it is about to die.

"You actually summoned a Phoenix Swordmaster directly from your deck?! Wow, I feel like you've suddenly become a bit too strong?"

Seeing the Phoenix Sword Saint standing there with his sword drawn, Chang Yan had a bad feeling.

The opponent still has that Continuous Spell with unknown effects on the field, and the Divine Sword Saint in the graveyard is also a cause for concern for Chang Yan, who fears it might suddenly resurrect at any moment...

"Eh, really? I think so too. When I was dueling with someone before, I suddenly realized how strong I had become, it almost felt unreal. It was only when I dueled with you, Tsukimori, that I truly recognized my shortcomings!"

Seeing Shenwu Shou speaking so seriously, Chang Yan felt a shiver run down his spine.

No, no, no, please don't get any stronger! If this keeps up, I'm afraid I really won't be able to beat you...

Chang Yan suddenly began to doubt his own judgment again. Was this guy really not the second male lead or the male protagonist of a side story? Every time he fought me, he would pull out some strange new cards from who-knows-where, each one stronger than the last. This time, I was clearly being suppressed badly!

It's too late now; I think I might lose this time...

As the saying goes, there's no joking around. This time, Shenwu Shou seems to have been too hard-pressed by what happened last time, and his determination to improve has turned into this.

If this happened again, I'd probably be unstoppable, trembling with fear...
