When a card game club is pulled into the Yu-Gi-Oh! world by the system

A dark mist rose from the shadows, as the saying goes, a person is completely hidden in darkness.

"What do you need me for, Blackie?"

A phantom human silhouette appeared on the lightless throne, and an indescribable, eerie echo reverberated once more in this dark hall.

Michigami Kengo knelt on the ground and respectfully stated what he wanted to report.

"My lord, intelligence reports that the Yin-Yang Palace seems to be making some big moves. The head of the Yin-Yang Palace personally met with Kagemaru, and the two had a private conversation for an hour. The specific content is unknown. In addition, the International Duel Police also seem to have some new developments."

"Understood, back off."

"Yes!"

The silhouette of the human figure disappeared from the throne, and the shadow faded away with it.

After the communication was lost, Chang Yan lay on the bed with a strange smile on his lips.

Kang Feng, Lin Yu, you two have absolutely no idea how to hide your identities...

Yin Yang Palace is a duelist organization with deep ties to the official forces of Japan. It is said to have been jointly created by a reclusive powerful family in Japan, and its founder is Kang Feng.

As for why those reclusive powerful families would jointly recommend Kang Feng, it's probably because of the power of Shadow and the Evil Legacy.

International Duel Police is a special force selected by the official alliance to combat powerful dark duelists. Because it includes people from various countries, the forces within the force are extremely complex. In addition, the force is bloated and poorly managed, with countless instances of backdoor deals, mutual sabotage, mudslinging, and taking credit for others' work, which has led many powerful duelists to resign in anger.

This gave the Dark Duelists an opportunity. They joined forces and stormed the headquarters of the International Duelists, sealing the souls of all the personnel inside into cards, waiting to sell them for a good price.

Although most of the Soul Cards were later recovered through various means, many Soul Cards are still displayed as trophies in various organizations.

Later, they became more shrewd. Only those with clean backgrounds and good character could join, and ranks were determined solely by ability. Those weaklings who got in through connections were all used as cannon fodder.

According to the investigation, Lin Yu's identity this time is that of the captain of the International Duel Police.

This world is getting more and more interesting!

He grinned, and thick darkness churned within his pupils...

Chapter 243 The Ancient Mechanical Demon God Who Surpasses the God Cards!

Thanks for pointing out the mistake in the previous chapter; the title was wrong.

As for whether you'll fight each other, these people are definitely going to play cards.

On a side note, working too many night shifts has made it hard to sleep at night; it's awful...

--------

Your status is that of a subordinate.

[Official Identity: Captain of the International Duel Criminal Police Team]

[Hidden Identity: Member of the Duel Council]

[Mission Objective: I won't tell you for now, hehe (*^▽^*)~]

[Attention, attention! Unknown changes have occurred in this world. To make the new mode more interesting, your memories will be blurred, and your original history of existence will begin to be distorted.]

The founder of the Duel Council is Seto Kaiba. The members come from all walks of life, but one thing is certain: they are all powerful duelists. Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, Pegasus, and others are also among them.

Although it's called the Duel Council, it doesn't include members of the Dark Duelists organization. It's more of a place for duelists to communicate.

First of all, due to the time span, Lin Yu's current body is that of someone in their twenties, which makes him a little uncomfortable.

After finding the archives and learning about the information, Lin Yu was truly speechless.

This place was once trampled flat?

You guys are so bad...

Never mind, although the mission is still unclear, it's basically just playing cards.

When it comes to playing cards, I, Lin, have never been afraid of anyone!

Well, I just don't know what Chang Yan and the others' identities are.

"Captain, the Duel Academy has sent an application, hoping that we can send one or two criminal police officers there to serve as guest instructors and teach the students practical combat experience."

The person who arrived was a blonde woman with long, wavy blonde hair and glasses that covered her bright green eyes. She was currently working as an office worker here.

"Hmm? Oh, the Duel Academy founded by Kaiba, huh... Okay, go ask those members who haven't had any missions yet. Let whoever wants to go go. Anyway, they'll pay for their travel, food, and lodging."

In reality, Lin Yu was having a hard time dealing with this person because, mentally, he was still just a child, while she was incredibly enthusiastic, leaving Lin Yu unable to handle it. In fact, that was her intention; this Russian girl from the Land of the White Bear particularly enjoyed seeing his embarrassed expression.

People can charge at someone with a ball, but he can't exactly stab someone with a gun, can he?

"Professor Chronos, I would like to apply for the promotion exam."

Professor Chronos is not only the teacher who manages the Blue Dormitory, but also holds a position similar to that of a dean of students. You need to apply to him for anything.

"Oh—the promotion exam, noona, umm..."

Seeing Chang Yan, wearing a little red hat, standing in front of him saying this, Professor Chronos exaggeratedly dragged out the last syllable, then nodded as if thinking.

He expected that Chang would apply for the promotion exam.

He knew perfectly well how bad the situation in the red dormitory was; it was worlds apart from the blue dormitory.

I really didn't expect this kid to come so quickly.

The problem now is, who should be chosen to duel this guy?

The professor, who had fought Chang Yan before, knew very well the strength of the Little Red Riding Hood in front of him; ordinary students from the Blue Dormitory were no match for him.

Looking for Kaiser Ryo? No way, he's just a freshman, and besides, Kaiser Ryo probably wouldn't agree to duel a freshman...

This is a bit tricky...

"Professor Chronos, the guest instructors from Interpol have arrived, and the principal is welcoming them."

At that moment, a female teacher came over and said something to Professor Chronos, which immediately made Professor Chronos's eyes light up.

That's it, None! Just in time!

"Alright, Tsukishiro Michimitsu, I approve your application for the promotion exam. Now, go to the dueling arena and wait for the examiner I'll choose for you. I'll be going now!"

With a "whoosh," Professor Chronos dashed out, leaving a trail of smoke in his wake, so fast that Chang Yan barely had time to react.

"I'm counting on you now, Miss Liz."

"No, I'm the one who should be in trouble."

Liz greeted Principal Samejima with a smile, feeling a surge of joy inside.

This should count as a paid vacation, right? All food and lodging expenses are covered, and there's even an extra allowance. I'm so lucky that such a great thing happened to me!

Just then, Professor Chronos walked in. Upon seeing Liz, he gave her a smile reminiscent of the Pot of Greed, which sent a shiver down her spine. She had a feeling that something bad was about to happen.

........

After understanding the whole story, she put aside her worries. Being an examiner for a new student was nothing difficult. Since the promotion exam didn't allow for leniency, she would let him experience firsthand how cruel the real dueling world was.

At this moment, Chang Yan was already standing on the dueling arena waiting for the examiner to arrive, while the nearby audience seats were full of people.

They all wanted to know how strong this freshman who had defeated Professor Chronos was, while others came with the intention of seeing him make a fool of himself.

The promotion exam is extremely difficult because the examiners are not allowed to be lenient. Moreover, it is said that the examiners this time were actually brought in from the International Duel Police Agency to serve as substitute teachers.

Tsk tsk tsk, this kid's doomed.

After waiting for a while, the dashing Liz, dressed in a classroom outfit, walked onto the dueling arena, eliciting a chorus of howls from the students.

Policewoman, teacher, foreigner—Spanish!

"You're the student I need to assess?"

Liz looked at the boy in the little red hat with great interest. Before coming here, she had specifically asked around and found out that this little boy had actually defeated Professor Chronos.

Interesting. I thought it would be a stomp on a noob, but it looks like it will be a pretty good duel.

"Yes, teacher."

"Very well, then let's not delay and begin—"

"crunch-"

"Duel!" x2

"You're a teacher after all, so I'll let you go first."

"...My turn, draw a card."

I actually hope I'm the one who goes last.

Chang Yan rolled her eyes at her in her mind, glanced at her hand, and nodded.

Not bad, you can play. It's a pity you would have been better off playing second.

"Normal summoning: [Ancient Mechanical Body]".

The internal skeleton of the ancient mechanical giant moves with its limbs swaying, appearing rather stiff.

However, although it only has an internal skeleton, it still has the most basic combat capability, which is that it has no defensive measures at all.

"Oh dear, does the card name 'Ancient Machine Fusion' include 'Ancient Machine Giant'...?"

Professor Chronos, who was watching the game from the sidelines, fell into deep thought, while Chang Yan on the field ignored him.

"Here it comes! Activate [Ancient Gear Fusion], using [Ancient Gear Entities] on the field and [Ancient Gear Boxes] in your hand as Fusion Materials—"
