When a card game club is pulled into the Yu-Gi-Oh! world by the system

Attack: 2800

"Another one!"

Looking at the terrifying monster that reeked of the sea, Spekta swallowed hard, then hid behind the goalkeeper's broad back, cautiously peeking out to watch Kang Feng.

Wow, you're a big guy, don't try to act cute like that!

Chapter 178 [Thunder Dragon]

I'm about to start my internship, and I'm wondering how my time will be arranged...

I'll be having meals and meetings these next few days, so my updates will be limited to 2k words per day. Sorry, the specific schedule will depend on my internship arrangements.

------

【Super Athlete Goalkeeper】Can be activated once per opponent's turn by targeting 1 "Super Athlete" monster you control. That monster is protected from being destroyed by battle or monster effects once per turn, meaning it can survive the turn unless something unexpected happens.

Well, barring any unforeseen circumstances...

"Activate the effect of [Evil Legacy Soul Ogre] - Once per turn, you can discard 1 monster with 'Legacy' in its name from your hand to activate this effect. Return 1 face-up card your opponent controls to its owner's Deck. I discard [Legacy Sorcerer - Aria] from my hand, and return [Super Athlete Goalkeeper] from your field to your Deck! Soul Exile!"

Changing just one word creates a new move!

The enormous sea dragon revealed an evil smile, spewing forth a torrent of foamy water from its serrated mouth, spreading a fishy, oceanic scent.

The goalkeeper was splattered in the face by the muddy water, and the powerful impact made him let out a muffled groan as he was sprayed back to his hometown.

"oh........"

Watching the massive figure in front of him vanish, Spekta stood frozen in place, then looked at the two enormous, malevolent ritual monsters with "kind" faces.

"Go easy on me, okay?"

Looking at the monster's arm, which was bigger than his entire body, Spekta said with a face that looked worse than crying.

"During the combat phase, the [Evil Remnant Soul Ogre] and [Evil Remnant Soul Giant] will attack directly!"

"roar----!"

"what----!"

Spekta LP: 4000→1200→0

winner - Kang Feng

Congratulations to Kang Feng for not being controlled by the new forces; that's wonderful!

The black mist made no other move and simply dissipated.

Wait, what happened to the dark game?

Watching the black mist slowly dissipate, Kang Feng was a little confused about the current situation.

"Well, actually, the rule I set was that the loser would fall asleep. Okay, I'm done for. Good luck to you."

After explaining to Kang Feng, Spekta settled into a comfortable position and lay down on the ground, falling fast asleep, completely unconcerned about his belongings being stolen.

I really can't figure out if this guy is a good person or just a real coward.

Kang Feng put down the Duel Disk and then saw Ilna lying on the ground and Yun fighting against Star.

That woman, she lost?

He had just come out and didn't know what had just happened.

Just now, Eunuch Cao was preparing for a second battle, but at this moment Shi Da volunteered and started fighting Yun directly.

"Duel!" x2

"Go first, draw a card."

Yun flicked his hand and quickly pulled out the card.

"Spell Card [Temptation of Darkness] - Draw 2 cards from your Deck, then banish 1 DARK monster from your hand. If you have no DARK monsters in your hand, send all cards in your hand to the Graveyard."

A covert operation?

Putting aside the timing of its appearance, why would anyone need to carry this card at this time?

The cost, with its significant side effects, is nowhere near as high as [Pot of Greed]. Could it be some kind of banished card deck?

Then Yun's next sentence caused Kang Feng, Shi Da, and Eunuch Cao's expressions to change drastically.

"I banish 'Thunder Beast Dragon - Thunder Dragon' from my hand. Then I activate the effect of 'Thunder Beast Dragon - Thunder Dragon'—If this card is banished or sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can activate this effect to Special Summon 1 'Thunder Dragon' monster from your Deck in Defense Position. However, the monster Special Summoned by this effect returns to its owner's hand during the End Phase."

Kang Feng and Eunuch Cao exchanged a glance, both seeing the astonishment in each other's eyes.

This is actually a Thunder Dragon deck?!

Thunder Dragon was originally just a Level 5 Effect Monster with a somewhat strange effect, but for some reason, Konami turned this card into a whole series, and a very strong one at that. It is still active in various tournaments and YGO's competitive mode.

Because of its effect of being activated by an exception, the [Sealed Golden Vault] was also directly affected and entered the restriction list.

Special Summon [Thunder Dragon - Thunder Dragon]

The jet-black dragon appeared with a bolt of lightning, its black scales, growing like weeds, crackling with electricity. Two backward-curving horns adorned its head. Its abdomen, where the scales weren't covering the sections, bore orderly, opposing red markings, resembling wounds.

Although the data is terrible, the most important thing about these Thunder Dragons is their effectiveness.

"There's a Thunder Dragon monster on the field now, and the big one is coming soon!"

Upon seeing the Thunder Dragon appear on the field, all three of them changed their expressions.

"Activate the effect of [Thunder Dragon] in your hand—You can activate this effect by discarding this card from your hand. Add up to 2 [Thunder Dragons] from your Deck to your hand. Add 1 to your hand."

"Then I'll use the [Thunder Dragon - Thunder Dragon] on the field as fusion material to perform a Fusion Summon—"

"Eh? Fusion isn't applicable. You're using one monster on the field as fusion material???"

Upon seeing this scene after successfully entering the Dark Game, Lygeia exclaimed in surprise.

Previously, she and Tilisa were on guard against the hidden mercenary captain's sneak attack on Lin Yu, so they did not enter the barrier to watch the battle. This time, seeing that Kang Feng and Eunuch Cao had both defeated their opponents, they naturally wanted to learn more about this powerful figure who had a complicated relationship with Ilna.

"Lightning flashes and thunder roars, a torrential downpour stretches to the horizon. Fusion Summon - Level 8, [Super Thunder Dragon - Thunder Dragon]!"

The enormous, dark blue dragon spread its broad, bat-like wings, its scales, cast as if from cast steel, crackling with bright, dense arcs of lightning. Its powerful, layered body was marked with segmented, orderly patterns, but these patterns were bright yellow lightning bolts, like branding marks. Its smooth, thick horns still curved backward, but now a pair of horizontal, backward-pointing blue horns had sprouted from its neck.

Wow, it's so big and cool!

"They're out..."

"Looking at it this close up, it's incredibly oppressive..."

Chapter 179, Page 2: [The Fragrance Sealed by the Demon]

"【Super Thunder Dragon - Thunder Dragon】This card can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon or by the following method: During the turn a Thunder-Type monster's effect is activated from your hand, you can Special Summon this card from your Extra Deck by Tributing 1 Thunder-Type Effect Monster you control other than a Fusion Monster (without needing to use "Fusion")."

Yun explained, compelled by the rules, and at that moment, the barrier of the last Dark Game was also lifted.

"How is the situation?"

Landis put away the Duel Disk and walked over to ask.

If you have good eyesight and quick reflexes, you can see the thick layer of red cards in Landis's graveyard when he's preparing his deck.

A high-quality player, a high-quality player.

“Ilna lost, but Mr. Cao and Mr. Kang Feng both won. Now Mr. Sta is dueling with that expressionless man named Yun.”

"As long as this card is in the Monster Zone, your opponent cannot add cards from the Deck to their hand by means other than drawing cards."

It has a permanent effect that blocks retrieval, and this monster also has the effect of replacing destruction, making it extremely powerful.

"The effect of 【Thunder Dragon - Thunder Dragon】—This effect can be activated if this card is banished or sent from the field to the Graveyard. Add 1 "Thunder Dragon" card other than "Thunder Dragon - Thunder Dragon" from your Deck to your hand. I add 【Thunder Dragon - Thunder Dragon】 to my hand."

With 4 stars, 1900 attack power, and 2 powerful effects, it is truly a hero among normally summoned monsters.

This card is an extremely rare and expensive card, regardless of the era. I really don't know how they managed to get their hands on this one.
