When a card game club is pulled into the Yu-Gi-Oh! world by the system

I initially thought he was just another guy who thought he was awesome after a few quick moves, but I never expected to run into such a formidable opponent.

Chang Yan sighed softly to himself.

"Next, I end my turn. The elemental swordsmen in my graveyard recover their attributes, and the continuous effect of [Temple of the Spirit God] is activated—the ATK and DEF of monsters I control increase by 200 times the number of attributes of monsters in my graveyard. Now I have a total of 5 attributes in my graveyard, so the ATK and DEF of monsters I control increase by 1000."

By the way, elemental swordsmen can declare divine attributes.

You think I'm an elemental swordsman? Actually, I'm Kami!

[Elemental Swordsman - Earthshaker] Defense: 1800 → 2800

[Elemental Swordsman - Lightning] Defense: 2100 → 3100

[Elemental Swordsman - Golden Light] Attack Power: 2400 → 3400

[Ice Spirit God Murangres] Attack Power: 2800 → 3800

The overall attack and defense stats suddenly spiked to a very high level, with almost every monster capable of easily defeating Blue-Eyes White Dragon. This is why Naoko Asakawa didn't activate the effect of "Temple of the Spirit God" to search for monsters, because the side effect of this effect is skipping the Battle Phase of your next turn.

Although [Ice Spirit God Murangres] also has the side effect of leaving the field, with golden light and lightning on the field, hmph!

.......

Wait, shouldn't someone be shouting, "Its attack/defense power is even higher than Blue-Eyes White Dragon's!" at this moment?

Combat unit: Blue-Eyes White Dragon (confirmed)

"That's how I end my turn."

It reduced the number of cards in hand by 2 at the start, while also increasing the resistance of the entire team and boosting attack and defense.

This game is already won!

Naoko Asakawa made a mental resolution.

"Sparashi, it really is Sparashi!"

"I never expected to encounter such a powerful duelist as you at this time. I'm quite excited."

He praised Naoko Asakawa with words of admiration, a rare sight in his time.

"So--"

"My turn, draw a card!"

The card traced a perfect arc in the air, and a standard flash draw was completed.

Flash draw judgment in progress—

Successful!

"Activate the Spell Card - Pot of Greed!"

That's right, when drawing cards in Fate, you definitely have to draw Pot of Greed!

Back when I was playing Card Power, I set the card for drawing cards with flash to "Pot of Greed," and it was so much fun.

Common sayings: 5 cards

"Under the whole heaven, all land belongs to the king! Activate the Field Spell Card [True Emperor's Domain]!"

At this moment, the temple of the Spirit God was shattered by the overwhelming power of the Emperor's Domain. Behind Chang Yan, a terrifying figure appeared, sitting high on a huge throne. The thin black mist made it impossible to see his true form, but it seemed that this guy was quite interested in the Ice Spirit God.

"Due to the rules, the [Temple of the Spirit God] will be directly destroyed, and your monster's attack and defense will be restored to their original values."

".......whispering sound!"

Naoko Asakawa scoffed, clearly unwilling to accept the outcome.

"Next, I activate the effect of 'The Pantheon Emperor' in the Graveyard—you can activate this effect by banishing this card from the Graveyard. Reveal 3 'Emperor' Spell/Trap Cards from your Deck to your opponent, who then chooses 1 of them. Add that 1 card to your hand, and return the rest to your Deck. I will—"

"Now is the time to feel the power of the Elemental Swordsman! Activate the effect of [Elemental Swordsman: Lightning]—Once per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card is activated, you can send 1 'Elemental Swordsman' monster from your hand to the Graveyard to activate this effect. Negate that activation and destroy it. I send [Elemental Swordsman: Twilight] from my hand to the Graveyard to negate your [Pan-God Emperor]!"

Just as Chang Yan was about to begin the procedure, Naoko Asakawa immediately interrupted him.

Although the lightning strike is ineffective, due to the current rules, even if the [True Emperor's Domain] is rendered ineffective and destroyed, the [Temple of the Spirit God] will still be destroyed by the rules and cannot be saved at all.

"The activation failed!"

Chang Yan seemed somewhat surprised that the effect of negating activation had actually appeared on a monster's effect. That's impressive.

He genuinely had no idea that the monster had this effect...

"But let's just consider this a trap. Activate the effect of the card [Earth Emperor's Retainer Lanrob] in your hand - You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Special Summon this card from your hand, and change the targeted monster to face-down Defense Position. This turn, you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck."

A deck crammed full of Emperor series cards...

"I will change your [Elemental Swordsman - Golden Light] to face-down defense position."

Damn it, I should have made him immune to being the target of the effect...

Watching Jin Guang being knocked unconscious by a dwarf who suddenly emerged from the ground wearing a cloak hidden inside armor, and then buried under the earth by the dwarf, Naoko Asakawa secretly felt a pang of regret.

Lan Luobu, retainer of the Emperor of the Earth

Race: Rock

Attribute: Earth

Star rating: 4

Attack: 800

Defense: 1000

The powerful Field Spell Card 【Temple of the Spirit God】was supposed to be destroyed, something she anticipated, hence her choice of double destruction resistance. However, she hadn't expected it to turn out like this...

"Activate the Continuous Spell [Treasure of the Underworld], then activate the Quick Attack Spell [Emperor's Whirlwind]!"

A fierce wind howled, and a huge tornado hovered over Naoko Asakawa's territory, causing the elemental swordsmen and spirits to be extremely wary of it.

"You can only activate 1 【Emperor's Whirlwind】 per turn. During the turn this card is activated, you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck. This turn, you can Tribute 1 monster you control instead of 1 monster you control for a Tribute Summon, and only once per turn."

You can use the opposing monster as a Tribute!

but.......

Why don't you use the card "Soul Intertwined"? I remember "Soul Intertwined" is much better than this card, right?

Could it be... that they can't afford it? Or that they don't know about this card?

Naoko Asakawa's gaze towards Chang Yan was immediately filled with pity.

【Soul Intertwined】Anime Version Effect: You can activate this effect by targeting any number of monsters your opponent controls. Perform one Tribute Summon. For that Tribute Summon, you must Tribute all the targeted monsters instead of your own.

Yes, all liberated...

Chapter 160 [Erebus, the Emperor of the Underworld]

【Soul Intertwined】This card is very expensive at this time, as it is an extremely rare magic card.

After all, in this era where high-level summons are the main focus, this card's value is incredibly high, comparable to [Lightning Strike].

"Activate the effect of the monster in the graveyard, Erebus, the Underworld Emperor!"

It has to be said that Naoko Asakawa's Ice Spirit is a prime example of a traitor, throwing several cards from her hand that could activate their effects in the graveyard into the graveyard...

Traitor Dragon: New pong friend!

"Not only Spell Cards, but even Monster Cards can activate their effects from the Graveyard!?"

The young man next to him was stunned. He hadn't watched Chang Yan's previous battle videos much, and now, lacking experience, he spoke in the voice of a random duelist.

"If this card is in the Graveyard, once per turn, during your or your opponent's Main Phase, you can discard 1 'Emperor' Spell/Trap Card from your hand, target 1 monster in your Graveyard with 2400 or more ATK and 1000 DEF; add that monster to your hand. I discard 'Emperor's Roar' from my hand and add 'Erebus the Underworld Emperor' from my Graveyard to my hand."

Erebus, the Emperor of the Underworld

Star rating: 8

Attribute: Dark

Race: Undead

Attack: 2800

Defense: 1000

"Due to the effect of [Emperor's Whirlwind], I Tribute my [Elemental Swordsman - Lightning] on your field and [Earth Emperor's retainer Lanrob] on my field to Tribute Summon—"

The tornado thrashed about, whipping its hips and carrying the lightning bolt into the sky amidst the latter's terrified expression.

[Elemental Swordsman - Golden Light] is currently in the face-down position, so even if it is reversed again, the resistance provided by the effect will be gone, so it is not a threat.

The enormous figure, seated atop the pitch-black throne, slowly rose, its inexplicable domineering aura causing all the elemental swordsmen to grip their weapons tightly.

"The Lord of the Underworld's Cycle of Reincarnation—[Erebus, the Emperor of the Underworld]!"

The indifferent black mist that had concealed the emperor's true form slowly dissipated, revealing the true form of the Underworld Emperor.

His entire body was clad in dark blue armor, the color of a stiff corpse, giving it an appearance of deathly stillness and gloom. Three dark blue horns protruded from his shoulders, twisted and extending diagonally backward on either side of his head. His blood-red eyes looked down, gazing at the group of elemental swordsmen and ice spirits.

If you look closely at the card art for the [True Emperor's Domain], you can see that the lower-ranking emperors are all bowing to a huge figure sitting on a throne. Judging from the outline and the part that is revealed, it is the Underworld Emperor, who is exceptionally tall.

"If the Continuous Spell [Treasure of the Underworld] is activated—if you successfully Tribute Summon 2 or more monsters, draw 2 cards from your Deck. Fallen~"

The reason for not activating [True Emperor's Domain] to reduce the number of stars for the Underworld Emperor is to trigger this effect. After all, leaving only [Earth Emperor's retainer Lanrobu] on the field is of no use.

"The continuous effect of 【True Emperor's Domain】: If there are no cards in your Extra Deck and only you control a Tribute Summoned monster, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from their Extra Deck."

This is the emperor's blockade; it's powerful, but the conditions are rather harsh. It's better to just have a [Void Demon] stand in.

"Then the effect of [Erebus the Underworld Emperor] activates—this can only be activated if this card is Tribute Summoned. Send 2 types of 'Emperor' Spell/Trap Cards from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, and return 1 card from your opponent's hand, field, or Graveyard to their Deck. I send [Emperor of True Essence] and [Emperor's Freezing Aura] to the Graveyard, and I choose 1 card from your field..."

These are all issues that need to be addressed...

"Return [Ice Spirit God Murangrace] to the deck! Sekishiki Umikai Ha!"

Boundless death energy roared from the depths of hell, and the will of the Underworld Emperor determined the ultimate direction of all things.

Huge, bone-chilling ice spikes appeared with the cry of the Ice Spirit God, and countless ice spikes flew towards the fluctuations from the netherworld, turning into a deadly yet chilling rain of ice.

"Muda muda muda! Tremble before the emperor!"

Countless vengeful spirits were casually summoned by the Underworld Emperor, screaming venomously and madly as they charged towards the ice spikes in a suicidal manner, allowing the aura of annihilation to send the Ice Spirit God back to its deck.

"The effect of Ice Spirit God... If this face-up card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn."

Naoko Asakawa pursed her lips and said unwillingly.
