Upon hearing Yuhaka's words, Fran paused for a moment, but she had indeed not heard the strange sound from before. Fran nodded to Yuhaka to indicate that she was alright. Seeing that Fran was fine, Yuhaka signaled that they should prepare to begin.

After Yhaka and Fran began their operation, at the lowest level of the temple, a cloaked figure was staring at a huge, azure crystal. The figure, dressed in a blue cloak and with multiple arms, did not look like an ordinary humanoid creature. In its hand, it held a staff resembling a bird's skull, which looked like the staff used by an evil mage. Well... in fact, that was pretty much the case.

As footsteps approached from behind, the mysterious mage turned around to look at the snake-man leader. The snake-man leader knelt before the mysterious mage and said, "Master, the enemy has invaded the temple."
